Kate Middleton was forced to pull out of last night’s film premiere forcing Prince William to go solo

Kate Middleton is still struggling with her pregnancy sickness, so much so she was forced to stay at home last night (Wednesday) while Prince William attended The Hobbit premiere in Leicester Square alone. PRINCE WILLIAM SPEAKS OUT ON KATE MIDDLETON’S SICKNESS

As he walked along the specially themed green carpet he couldn’t help but miss his wife saying: ‘Kate would have loved to have been here.’

After suffering a relapse on Sunday of the condition known as hyperemesis gravidarum Kate Middleton had to pull out of supporting the premiere.

She was scheduled to support the film along with her husband and draw attention to the event’s charity, The Cinema and Television Benevolent Fund that supports industry employees during times of hardship.

The Duke of Cambridge arrived at 6.45pm to ensure he didn’t take any attention away from film’s stars who included Cate Blanchett, Elijah Wood and Sir Ian McKellan.

The cinema’s general manager, Tessa Street who welcomed the royal, told Mail online: ‘I passed on my best wishes to Kate and he [Prince William] said “She would have loved to have been here if she could.”’

As Kate Middleton spent the evening resting at home she was certainly at the premiere in spirit, Sir Ian McKellan sent his best wishes to her while being interviewed that prompted a round of applause from the audience.
