Kristen Stewart has arrived in Japan ahead of her red carpet appearance for Twilight Breaking Dawn Part 2.

Over the weekend, Robert Pattinson posed for snappers and did interviews in Australia to promote the final instalment in the vampire franchise, now it's Kristen's turn to face the media.

The 22-year-old actress seemed in good spirits as she landed at Narita International airport and warmly greeted her waiting fans - taking time to pose for pics and sign autographs.

Wearing her trademark casual attire, Kristen looked uber-cool in a backwards trucker cap, a black t-shirt, jeans and Converse.

Meanwhile, Rob, who has reportedly forgiven Kristen for cheating on him with director Rupert Sanders, has done nothing but praise his Twilight co-star during his press interviews Down Under. Talking to MTV Australia about Kristen's character Bella becoming a vampire, he said:

'[Kristen] was really excited about being a vampire. Everybody else who’d been pretty consistent in the movies, they’d obviously been playing a vampire like every day for ages.

'And so it’s funny seeing someone suddenly come into it and try and figure out their own version of the physicality and the mentality of it.'

Kristen Stewart will walk the red carpet at a fan event in Tokyo this Wednesday (24 October).
