Our very own Suzannah Ramsdale joined the thousands of Madonna fans to watch her MDNA tour as it finally hit the UK

Madonna finally brought her MDNA world tour to the UK last night with a concert in London's Hyde Park, and our online news editor, Suzannah Ramsdale, was there to check out what Madge had to offer.

We've all seen the headlines and newspaper stories about Madonna's 'controversial' MDNA tour. She's - shock horror - flashed her breast on stage, offended the French far-right Front National by using a picture of its leader with a swastika on her forehead and she's waved a firearm around in a rather aggressive manner.

WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT MADONNA'S BREAST FLASH?

But what else would we expect from Madonna?

Last night's performance - her first on UK soil for four years - was the usual combination of sex, violence, religion and politics, with a dig at Lady Gaga thrown in for good measure.

Maybe it says more about my character than Madonna's to say that her cheeky bum flash to the 55,000-strong crowd in Hyde Park didn't quite leaving me gasping in the shocked manner which was probably intended. I was more excited when her adorable son, Rocco, joined her on-stage to bust out some pretty impressive moves.

Not being a staunch Madge fan, I was unfamiliar with 99 per cent of the MDNA album content performed, as it seemed were most of the audience, so it was the big classics - Like A Prayer, Express Yourself and Vogue - that really got everyone going.

You've got hand it to Madonna, after decades and decades in the business she can still put on a world-class, faultlessly choreographed, original show, I just wish she'd treated us to a few more of the oldies.
