However, The Drama star appeared to confirm that the third season will be the last. When Drew asked her if this is the finale, Zendaya replied: "I think so, yeah." She then added: "That closure is coming."

And it looks like creator Sam Levinson is also approaching Euphoria season 3 as the final chapter. At the show's premiere in Hollywood this week, he told Variety that he has always written the show 'like it's the last', and confirmed he has 'no plans' to take it any further at this point. He said: "I want to finish this as strong as I can. I’m cutting [episodes] seven and eight still. I’m putting some finishing touches. I just want to deliver a fucking slam dunk season."

In terms of a specific timeline, we’re catching up with them five years after they've graduated - and a lot that can happen in that amount of time. Especially when you consider the twists and turns that unfolded between the first two seasons, which were set just weeks apart. Some fans have stated that they're looking at the new series as a ‘spin-off’ rather than a continuation of the first two seasons.

They're now out in the real world - with some very unexpected careers

Unlike the first two seasons, there will be several different environments and plot points to follow in season 3. Maddy will be over in Hollywood working as a casting agent, while Cassie is exploring life as an adult content creator with Nate playing dutiful husband after taking over his Dad’s business. Meanwhile, Jules is at art school (but is also experimenting as a sugar baby) and Lexi is working as an events assistant.

One fan on TikTok explained that Cassie’s work in adult content creation is the perfect character development for her, suggesting: "Cassie’s arc is taking us to the fact that she becomes an Only Fans model and is basically a trophy wife. Rue's redemption arc

As viewers, we've watched a young Rue struggle with addiction while grappling with anxiety, depression and bipolar disorder. But could season 3 be when fans see her redemption arc? Levinson previously revealed that Rue’s season 3 storyline would see her attempting to embrace sobriety - but that the odds may be stacked against her. In an interview with Elle, he described the upcoming season as a 'film noir' and suggested that Rue would 'explore what it means to be an individual with principles in a corrupt world'.

A popular online fan theory is that someone will die from a drug-related issue, and Rue will take vengeance. In the trailer, she's faced with past debts to gangster Laurie - so it looks like there are two ways to go: either Rue finds her path to recovery, or she'll fall into another spiral.

Cassie and Nate’s toxic suburban prison

One interesting theory and trailer 'easter egg' is Cassie and Nate’s wedding as the focal point for the group’s reunion. We see some characters have stayed in contact (like Rue and Maddy), but having them all together would only happen at a big, chaotic event like, say, a Euphoria wedding. Show writers teased that the wedding is 'unforgettable' so we’re imagining Lexi (who made it her mission in season two to bring down Nate) is going to make it messy. One Reddit user wrote: "Something is definitely going down at the wedding reception, I think Nate will be keeping some kind of secret from her which she finds out during the reception."

Fans are also speculating that the wedding is less happily-ever-after, and more toxic-suburban-prison. In the trailer, Nate is disgusted by Cassie's career and hints to marriage strains. Oh dear.

Euphoria season 3 release date

Euphoria season 3 will be released on Max (formerly HBO Max), Sky Atlantic and NOW TV on Sunday 12th April 2026 at 9 pm ET/2am GMT.

It’s been four long years since Euphoria wrapped, so with season three set to air on HBO very soon it’s understandable that things are going to look a little different this time around. Aside from the obvious fact that they’re not in East Highland High School anymore, the cast list for season 3 is missing some huge names and key characters that we grew to adore. Returning to a much-loved show can be a risk for some actors, especially as so many Euphoria stars' careers have skyrocketed since the show first aired. There’s also been the heartbreaking deaths of Angus Cloud, who played Fez, and Eric Danes, who played Nate’s father Cal Jacobs.

In 2024, HBO Chairman and CEO Casey Bloys spoke to Variety about the prospect of Euphoria season three looking very different to previous seasons, even though it'll feature "the same core cast" (plus some new - but familiar - faces). So far, we know that Zendaya is returning as Rue, Sydney Sweeney is back as Cassie, Jacob Elordi is reprising his role as Nate, and Hunter Schafer will return to play Jules.

Storm Reid (Gia) and Barbie Ferreira (Kat) were notably absent from the list, though Reid revealed in November 2024 that she wouldn't be back, and Ferreira also said she left the series for good in 2022, stating that it was a mutual decision to end Kat’s story. Despite fans' hopes that they may make a surprise appearance, it's looking unlikely.

Zendaya was Emmy-nominated not once but twice for her portrayal of Rue, winning the award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series in both 2020 and 2022. Given that she is also listed as an executive producer on the show, it makes it impossible to imagine Euphoria without her. Luckily, she’s back for season 3 and by the looks of the trailers, Rue is still very much at the centre of the chaos.

Speaking about Rue's upcoming storylines, Zendaya touched upon the five year 'time jump', joking that there is 'only so much high school drama you can deal with'. Speaking on Entertainment Weekly’s The Award podcast, she said: "It will be fascinating to see and understand these characters outside of the context of high school and how all the stuff that we saw when they were kids and they were in high school affects the adulthood they have, and who they become in a much bigger world. I’ll be interested to see what happens too."

Hunter Schafer as Jules Vaughn

Hunter Schafer will be returning to her role as Jules in season 3, where it's been teased she'll be exploring two new storylines: life as a 'sugar baby', and navigating her studies art school.

Sydney Sweeney as Cassie Howard

If you thought Sydney’s character Cassie was controversial in the first two seasons, she’s 'even worse' in season three, apparently. Speaking to Jimmy Fallon, Sydney explained that 'Cassie is crazy' this time around, and teased that she is 'unhinged'. However, Sydney did add that she's ultimately on a path to 'self discovery'. Plus, Cassie is planning her wedding to Nate and she also appears to be an adult content creator these days.

Jacob Elordi as Nate Jacobs

Jacob Elordi has been booked and busy in recent years, starring in the likes of Wuthering Heights and Frankenstein to name a few. But he did have time to return to Euphoria as Nate, promising that his character is 'nicer' than before.

Even though fans will be pleased to see Nate return, Jacob himself seemed a little wary about coming back after a long break. In an interview with Gwyneth Paltrow for Variety’s Actors on Actors, he expressed a little doubt saying: "Whether it works or not, I don’t know. There’s a chance that what we've done — what I’ve done — is not good. I'm not sure."

In the trailer, we see Nate and Cassie plan their wedding - but he seems less than thrilled about Cassie’s new choice of career. In the trailer, he's heard seething: "I work all day and my bride-to-be is spread eagled on the internet."

Alexa Demie as Maddy Perez

Breathe a big sigh of relief, as Maddy and her flawless outfits are back for season three. Hurrah! Arguably the most ‘successful’ four years later, Maddy is working in Hollywood as a respected talent agent. The rest of her storyline has been kept a secret, but she is seen with Rue in the trailer - and by the looks of things, there’s going to be a bad-girl-post-grad character arc in store.

Eric Dane as Cal Jacobs

Beloved actor Eric Danes passed away in February 2026, a year after being diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). Despite his diagnosis, he returned to filming for season three and will appear as Cal Jacobs even though he doesn't appear in the trailer.

At its very best, beauty at the Met Gala isn’t just about trends—it’s storytelling. And last night, Black beauty told a story of resistance, artistry, and pride. In every swoop of an edge, every gravity-defying curl, and every nod to icons like Zora Neale Hurston or Josephine Baker, there was a reminder that Blackness is not a theme, it’s a legacy.

This year's Met Gala also proved yet again why it’s fashion’s biggest night out—but this time round, it wasn’t just a celebration of the allure of Black design, but also Black beauty. In a true ode to Dandyism, stars stepped out with grace, reclaiming the cultural legacy of Black style from the clutches of mainstream appropriation—this time, with full authorship.

Hair stylist Devontae Washington stated his mission was “serving big, bouncy glam for my girl", supermodel Precious Lee. It was Dandy in its effortlessness, providing an effortless, voluminous look for the occasion. From intricately laid edges to towering Afros, the night delivered a masterclass in texture, shape and shine, with looks stretching from glossy glam to sharply sculpted contouring.

It encapsulated the theme of “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style” in a way that provided a star-studded, in all senses of the word, visual love letter to Black Dandyism and self-expression. Hair, long a cultural cornerstone of Black beauty, took centre stage at yesterday’s event, with some of the night's most exciting looks centred on hairstyles, accessories or makeup.

So, naturally, the night brought out the greats. Artistic displays from Pat McGrath and Charlotte Tilbury to Chanel and Dior, with smaller names, like Kiko, rising to the occasion. Ahead of last night’s celebration, celebrity hairstylist Jawara Wauchope and creative director Jarrod Lacks put on their own show pre-Met Gala. On Friday night, they gave fashion's elite a preview of the brilliance to come—a study in the intimacy and complexity of Black hair on one of the world's biggest stages.

Industry-leading hair stylists, from Cyndia Harvey to Vernon François and Malcolm Marquez, offered sculptural interpretations that pushed the boundaries of traditional hairstyling. These artists, many of whom have long used their craft as protest, struck a perfect balance between reverence and rebellion. It was a captivating marriage of what happens when the world’s greatest creative heads come together to honour the crowns that have come before. The reign of the Dandy called for a masterclass in grooming galore.

Curves, coils, bubble and bounce

Last night’s display served as a potent reminder: Black hair is art, resistance, and legacy, all in one—a harmonious balance of reverie and rebellion. Using a blend of tgin and Dyson tools, stylist Karen Miller sculpted Actress and comedian Quinta Brunson's face-framing curls into a style echoing the glamour of Josephine Baker—structured yet soft, with a modern swoop stamped firmly to her forehead.

Nigerian singer Tems showed out with delicate, finger-curled edges—a recurring signature for her that plays into her playfulness as an artist and Dandy for the night. “To create Tems’ sleek and polished Met Gala look, I relied on two of my go-to Dyson tools—for fast, controlled drying and a smooth, glossy finish,” said hair stylist Ashanti Lation.

How ‘fro can you go?

Apparently, the limit does not exist. With Dandyism deriving largely from West African culture, from the top of one’s head to the curl of one’s shoe, the Afro becomes an apex in its presentation (and preservation). At its core, Black Dandyism is not only about elegance but about gender fluidity and defiance—a reclamation of space that allows Black expression to be opulent, androgynous and unapologetically free. For that reason, it rightfully took centre stage on the decorated carpet this year. Hair stylist and educator Chloe Swift foresaw that "bolder, texture-rich statements that complemented individual looks" would be used to echo the theme’s androgyny. And some of the industry’s greats did just that. From actresses Angela Bassett and Lupita Nyong’o to Lauryn Hill and Cardi B, Dandy was the word, but so was ‘fro. And in a world and culture where the Afro has often been demonised and diminished, last night was a prime opportunity to celebrate the hairstyle in all of its curly and coily glory, with these leading ladies flaunting the perfect ode to a key part of Dandyism.

Glitz and glam, gleam and glow

As with many Met’s, so much of the magic lies in the hands of the make-up artists and the touch of their brushes. This year, offered a slightly more tame approach to the extravagance of it all. Rihanna, Zendaya and Megan Thee Stallion opted for soft-focus beauty—barely-there bases made radiant with strategic shimmer.

Glam teams (for Rihanna, Fenty Beauty Global Make-up Artist and friend Priscilla Ono and Charlotte Tilbury for Megan Thee Stallion) led with understated drama, proving that minimal can still mesmerise. Both used the new Big Lip Plumpgasm Gloss in Nudegasm Diamonds to bring some of that shimmer and shine into otherwise matte bases.

Zendaya is a woman of multitudes, she defies stereotypes (no mean feat in Hollywood) most recently, convincingly playing a teenager in the grips of heroin (Euphoria), a dystopian sci-fi warrior (Dune), and a tennis champion (Challengers). It was during the press tour for the latter that Zendaya became known for her preppy outfits and what has gleefully been described as a “tourdrobe”, think: custom Loewe tennis dresses and stilettos spiked with actual tennis balls.

Now, in her first public outing since news of her engagement to Tom Holland broke, Zendaya is back on the Challengers press circuit, but all signs of her sloaney, athleisure wardrobe are gone.

Appearing the day after debuting her engagement ring on the Golden Globes red carpet, Zendaya attended a special screening of Challengers in West Hollywood. Gone was the Ralph Lauren tweed; in its place was a glossy black leather John Galliano-era Dior jacket buttoned over an ink-black tutu à la It Girl Carrie Bradshaw.

Her hair, too, which was so often whipped into a ‘60s-style blonde bouffant during the film’s promotion, was dark and worked into a high ponytail with blunt bangs. The look was still a little ‘60s, but less Sharon Tate, more Diana Rigg in The Avengers (the modish espionage show, not the superhero franchise).

Gone, too, were the Tashi Duncan-coded shoes. There wasn’t a tennis ball or a trainer in sight. Instead, Zendaya grounded the all-black look with pointed Louboutin pumps, their signature red lacquered soles on display as she kicked out a leg while chatting to Challengers director Luca Guadagnino.

And now that rumours of her engagement have been confirmed (although she hadn’t said anything publicly herself), one question remains: is there more than meets the eye with this new femme fatale look?

For an actor who so often—and famously—uses fashion to make a statement, with the help of her long-time stylist Law Roach, does this unexpected new look hint at a future role? Is it just a way to ensure all eyes are kept firmly on that showstopper of a ring? Or has Law Roach, who last year caused a stir when he said that “porn” would be the next theme he’d “just love to dive into” already ticked off one New Year’s resolution?

In recent months, engagement speculation has only grown and just a few days ago, Tom opened up about his future with Zendaya during an interview for Men's Health. Explaining that he plans to retire to focus on raising children, he said: "When I have kids, you will not see me in movies anymore. Golf and dad. So when Zendaya stepped onto the 2025 Golden Globes red carpet wearing an unmissable diamond ring on her left hand, it naturally led to a lot of curiosity over the couple's relationship. The ceremony took place in The Beverly Hilton Hotel in LA, and the red carpet was bustling with A-listers. Zendaya, who was glowing in custom Louis Vuitton, posed for the cameras ahead of the awards show - and the incredibly sparkly piece of jewellery did not go unnoticed.

In fact, she posed with her left hand visibly on her hip - leading some fans to believe that she's soft-launching her engagement to Tom. On X, formerly Twitter, one person wrote: "I’ve checked previous pictures of her on red carpets and she’s never warn a ring on her wedding finger until now."

Another added: "I'm sorry Zendaya is too pr trained to wear a ring like that on THAT specific finger if it wasn’t a legit engagement ring."

A third wrote: "My tomdaya heart!"

One account even showed a clip of Zendaya sat at the table, showing the ring to a passerby.

It isn't the first time that Zendaya has sparked engagement rumours thanks to her choice of jewellery. In 2023, after being spotted wearing a ring in a candid photo, she responded to the rumours in the most hilarious way - claiming: "Seriously, you think that’s how I would drop the news? You think? Like, what?

This weekend, a video of Zendaya getting swarmed by photographers went viral, with the Euphoria star surrounded by paparazzi after stopping to sign autographs for fans in New York City.

The video shows her boyfriend, Tom Holland, forced to step in, pushing through the crowd to pull Zendaya from the swarm of paparazzi who appeared to be closed in around her.

And while fans were quick to check in on Zendaya after the video surfaced, numerous comments focused on praising Holland. "Who needs bodyguards when you are dating Spiderman," posted one comment, while another read: "What a gentleman."

The couple, who has been dating since 2021, is known to be notoriously private, with both Zendaya and Tom speaking previously about their efforts to protect their relationship.

“Our relationship is something that we are incredibly protective of and we want to keep as sacred as possible,” Holland explained to the Hollywood Reporter in July 2023. “We don’t think that we owe it to anyone, it’s our thing, and it has nothing to do with our careers.”

"Parts of my life, I accept, are going to be public," Zendaya has previously added in an interview with ELLE. “I can’t not be a person and live my life and love the person I love. But also, I do have control over what I choose to share. It’s about protecting the peace and letting things be your own but also not being afraid to exist. You can’t hide. That’s not fun, either. Believe it or not, this week marks five whole years since Euphoria first landed on our screens. That's right; it was way back in June 2019 when the teen drama - laced with love, friendship, addiction, grief and heartbreak - became an overnight success and a cultural phenomenon. With Zendaya's critically acclaimed portrayal of Rue at the heart of the show, she made history by becoming the first Black woman to win the Lead Actress Emmy twice, and it also catapulted her co-stars Sydney Sweeney and Jacob Elordi to A-list status.

The show returned with a second instalment just over two years later, with Euphoria season 2 airing in January 2022 and once again it gripped millions of viewers across the globe. When it was announced that a third season was happening, fans were giddy - but two and a half years later, viewers are still waiting for Euphoria season 3 updates. At this point in their careers, Zendaya, Sydney and Jacob are all tied up with a number of different acting projects, and Barbie Ferreira has already confirmed that she's not returning.

However, Warner Bros. Discovery executives Casey Bloys and JB Perrette have given a promising update on the third season of the show. During an interview with Variety, they shared that creator Sam Levinson is 'working on it' and the show could incorporate a time jump. Bloys explained: "There’s been a lot of back and forth… One of the issues I think that Sam is thinking about is that he doesn’t want to have it in high school anymore. That’s where it was set and what made sense then. So when you take it out of that, there’s a lot of back and forth about where to set it and how far in the future to set it and all that stuff. But I think he’s got a take that he’s excited about, and he’s busy writing."

Given that the majority of the actors are now also in their mid 20s - for example, Zendaya is 27, Sydney and Jacob are both 26, and Hunter is 25 - it makes sense to bring the Euphoria realm forward, too. However, one concern has been conflicting schedules of the show's biggest stars given their huge professional successes over the last three years.

But when asked if they will all be returning to their roles, Bloys insisted: "It’s the same core cast."

Fingers crossed for 2025, then?

Zendaya's high school photo is going viral again nine years after the fact.

Over on Twitter, user @khairdoII reposted the stunning pic, which has 79k likes at time of writing.

In the comment section, fans went wild over the beautiful photo, which shows Z with her hair worn straight, her signature defined brows, a sultry eye look, and pink lip gloss. She's wearing big, thin hoop earrings, and an off-the-shoulder black wrap top, which is likely an accessory all students had to wear to homogenise the photos.

One fan wrote: "there's nothing new still beautiful"

Another added: "she's been serving all the way from HS"

Zendaya graduated from high school in 2015, with her Dancing With the Stars partner Val Chmerkovskiy celebrating the achievement on Instagram, with the caption: "from the Met straight to set to graduating high school. Proud of my lil Zendayachka. #driven #fam @zendaya"

The actress has always been outspoken about how important education is to her. "I always say if I wasn't in entertainment I'd be a teacher, like my mom," she once wrote on Twitter.

According to Newsweek, Zendaya got her high school diploma from Oak Park High School in Oak Park, California.

At the time, she was already famous — though not quite as famous as she is now.

The beloved actress got her big break on the Disney Channel series Shake It Up alongside Bella Thorne, with the show running between 2010 and 2013. But in recent years, Zendaya's career has skyrocketed, with star turns in the Spider-Man series alongside boyfriend Tom Holland, the Dune series with Timothée Chalamet, and the film everyone's talking about right now: Challengers.

In this film, Z plays Tashi Donaldson, a retired tennis champion who finds herself in a love triangle with her husband and his best friend.

Challengers was directed by Luca Guadagnino, who also made Call Me By Your Name and Bones and All. Zendaya's costars were Josh O'Connor (The Crown, Emma) and Mike Faist (West Side Story).

Challengers is the must-watch film of the moment, with a powerhouse cast led by Zendaya. The movie blends the worlds of sport and romance—not to mention a killer Tenniscore wardrobe—exploring its protagonist's relationship with two men who are both friends and tennis rivals. 

It's not often that we see tennis depicted in Hollywood films—and the fact that this one has an erotic twist means it's a whole new niche entirely. It's no secret that things get pretty steamy in Challengers (you've probably seen the film still of the three central characters perched on a bed doing the rounds on social media). During this scene (spoiler alert!), the characters share a three-way kiss during one of the most talked-about moments of the film. 

Written by playwright and novelist Justin Kuritzkes, Challengers tells the story of Tashi, a professional tennis player-turned-coach embroiled in a love triangle with her husband and another man. Zendaya has opened up about how she feels she got "lucky" working with co-stars Mike Faist and Josh O’Connor, particularly in terms of the closeness the trio had to portray on screen.

"How do you build the chemistry? Well, I think I got lucky that they're both just lovely guys," Zendaya explained in a recent interview with The Sun. "They were kind and generous with their work and their time, so that made it easy."

Award-winning actress Zendaya went on to say that the film has been an "emotional rollercoaster" and encourages viewers to keep an open mind when it comes to the characters and their journey. "Try not to judge them too much," she continued in the interview. "Because, ultimately, when you come back—and hopefully you decide to watch it again—your opinions will change and your ideas of them will change. There’s a messiness and a humanity to them. 

"We’re people, we make mistakes. So you’ll judge them, you’ll have an opinion, you’ll come back and it will change, and then it will change again and then again."

It's not director Luca Guadagnino's first rodeo when it comes to building erotic tension, with 2017's Call Me By Your Name charged with forbidden lust and more recently in 2022 Bones And All. This cannibal-romance hybrid somehow manages to bring soft and sexy elements to its disturbing subject matter. 

Challengers has received high praise for its racy scenes. Film critic Wendy Ide calls it an "absurdly sexy movie" writing for the Guardian before declaring "It’s so much fun that it’s practically indecent".

Zendaya has also spoken about the importance of safety while filming sex scenes, with the cast turning to an intimacy coordinator to help them navigate any roadblocks when it comes to portraying intimacy and feel more at ease. 

"We had an intimacy coordinator which was fantastic and very helpful because it was important that we felt safe," Zendaya explained during a promotional appearance in Rome (via The Hollywood Reporter).

She then went on to say, "I spoke with my colleagues so that we could find a way to feel at ease. We played tennis together, we went out together, we rehearsed together. We got to bond and feel good with each other."

Zendaya just told a story that some fans think lets us in on when she started dating boyfriend Tom Holland. The two have been going out for quite a few years, and have been more open about their relationship in recent months. Before that, though, everything we knew about them came from paparazzi photos and references to each other in interviews.

But appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live as she promotes her new film Challengers, Zendaya was asked if she's ever had a speeding ticket, and her answer referenced Tom in such a way that fans are now convinced that the actress was actually admitting to when the two started dating.

"Tom and I were rushing to a spin class — with my mother," she explained. "I was not going to do the spin class, he was going to do the spin class. 'Cause I don't do that... But, we were going a little fast, we were running late. And they recognised that he was Spider-Man and, uh, we were fine. We got our warning and everything was OK."

At this point, you may be wondering how on earth fans figured anything out from that story, but we're getting to it. One fan posted a clip of Zendaya telling the anecdote on Twitter, followed by a social media video that showed Tom and Z's mum Claire Stoermer leaving a spin class circa 2017. Commenters then began speculating over whether Tom and Zendaya were already dating at the time or not.

Still, this is very little to go on, considering the actress could have been talking about a different spin class, and she and Tom could very well have just been friends at the time.

ELLE also points out that both of the lovebirds were linked to other people in 2020, meaning that if they were in fact together in 2017, they could have broken up and got back together at some point.

Who knows!

Zendaya looked visibly uncomfortable after she was asked an awkward question during an interview for her new film Challengers.

Speaking to Australian breakfast TV show Sunrise, Zendaya was asked who was the best kisser out of her two costars, Josh O'Connor and Mike Faist, who were also in the interview.

Upon hearing the question, Zendaya furrowed her eyebrows and looked confused and frustrated. Thankfully, Mike immediately defused the situation by saying, deadpan: "Josh."

Zendaya turned towards him, smiled and nodded. Josh laughed, said "thank you" and added "Z's quiet." (He hadn't seen her face since he was sat next to her.)

Fans were gobsmacked that the reporter asked the question, with one commenting: "That’s last question was not it , bro her face"

Another said: "He literally saved the day by saying Josh so quickly"

Mike was clearly joking to make an awkward moment less awkward, and it really should be noted here that actors kissing are just doing their job, and they're not supposed to be enjoying it like you might enjoy a kiss with a real-life romantic partner.

This is also one of the reasons Zendaya may have felt so weirded out by the question, since she's famously in a long-term relationship with Tom Holland.

However, we do know that Mike and Josh did kiss in the film. The Crown actor previously revealed about a specific scene in the film: "It turns into this three-way kiss — and then suddenly Mike and I are kissing. That was very clear."

Challengers was directed by Luca Guadagnino, who is known for Call Me By Your Name and Bones and All. It comes out in the UK on 26 April, and is the story of Tashi (Zendaya), a tennis champion who gets injured and becomes a coach to her husband Art (Mike Faist), and how they get embroiled in a love triangle with Josh O'Connor's character — also a tennis pro.

It all sounds deliciously juicy and we obviously can't wait to see it.

Hunter Schafer has addressed the Euphoria season 3 delay.

"I just really miss everybody," the actress said during the GQ Global Creativity Awards last week, speaking to Variety.

"Everyone is doing very well in their careers right now. Everyone’s kind of blown up, and so with that comes people travelling a lot. Whatever happens, I’m just excited to get back together once it’s time and catch up and hang out."

Last month, it emerged that HBO was delaying production on the hit TV show's third season, with sources telling The Hollywood Reporter that part of the delay was due to the creator and the network disagreeing on where to set the series now that the characters have left high school. It sounds like the show's producers are thinking of doing a time jump in the plot, rather than starting where they left off.

Plus, like Hunter pointed out, pretty much everyone on the show is now a hugely in-demand actor, making it more challenging to align everybody's schedules for filming the series.

Zendaya (Rue) is the star of the Dune series plus the upcoming movie Challengers, directed by Luca Guadagnino and costarring Josh O'Connor.

Jacob Elordi (Nate) has seen his career skyrocket among projects like Saltburn and Sofia Coppola's Priscilla, in which he plays Elvis Presley.

Sydney Sweeney has gone on to star in the likes of The White Lotus, Anyone But You and Madame Web, not to mention host Saturday Night Live.

Additionally, Angus Cloud, who played Fez in the series, tragically passed away last summer at just 25 years old.

It's unclear when — or if — production will resume on Euphoria. Still, a spokesperson for HBO told Variety in March: "HBO and Sam Levinson [the show's creator] remain committed to making an exceptional third season. In the interim, we are allowing our in-demand cast to pursue other opportunities."

As for Hunter, if there's a time jump, she just hopes her character Jules has had a little respite. "The past two seasons have been pretty rough on Jules," she said. "So I just hope she’s gotten to chill out and be a regular teenage girl."

Zendaya just opened up about her vision for future children.

In a new interview with Vogue, the actress detailed both what growing up in the spotlight was like for her, and what becoming famous basically overnight was like for her boyfriend and Spider-Man costar Tom Holland.

"I think growing up, I always felt like when someone asks for a picture, I have to do it, all the time," she explained.

"You have to say yes, because you need to be grateful that you’re here. And while I still feel that way, I also have learned that I can say no, and I can say kindly that I’m having a day off, or I’m just trying to be to myself today, and I don’t actually have to perform all the time."

The Dune star expressed that she absolutely loves making films, but that the level of hyper-fame she has reached doesn't feel particularly sustainable — especially if she is to have children in the future.

"Because I don’t necessarily want my kids to have to deal with this," she said. "And what does my future look like? Am I going to be a public-facing person forever?"

While Z didn't mention Tom in her vision for children, the two have been in a serious relationship since at least 2021 (there were dating rumours about them since as far back as 2017, which they denied at the time, according to Harper's Bazaar). The two show no sign of slowing down when it comes to their romance.

Zendaya went on to describe her ideal future as one where she could "make things and pop out when I need to pop out, and then have a safe and protected life with my family, and not be worried that if I’m not delivering something all the time, or not giving all the time, that everything’s going to go away."

Essentially, she wants to be able to hone the craft she's so good at but still enjoy a semblance of normalcy. We're manifesting that for her!

And it seems that the Euphoria star is also feeling a little more open when it comes to sharing about her boyfriend, as in a recent interview with Buzzfeed she sweetly diverted a question about charisma to bring up Tom.

During the chat, she was asked which cast member of Dune: Part Two has the most 'rizz'. After joking, "Me. Hello?" she added: "Rizz is short for charisma, right? Everybody’s kind of got their own. I think someone who has beautiful charisma, not on the Dune cast, but I know personally, works for me, is Mr. Tom Holland."

Given that they rarely talk about one another so candidly, the sweet admission did not go unnoticed by fans. She continued: "I'm more shy and kind of quiet, so it takes a little bit more to pull me out of my shell. But he’s great at just talking to people and getting to know people. You see him and talk shows and stuff like that. He’s just naturally very good at that. Whereas for me, I’ve definitely had to pull it out of me a little bit. He’s got that natural gift."

One fan commented under the video on Instagram: "Z bringing Tom up unprompted in interviews I love how down bad both of them are for each other."

Another added: "Not the pivot to ‘my man, my man, my man'."

A third said: "I love their love."

Zendaya and Tom Holland are one of Hollywood's most beloved couples, with legions of fans following their relationship. 

The notoriously private duo met on the set of Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2017, and have been dating since 2021. But despite being in a relationship for the past three years, both Zendaya and Tom have said very little about each other in public.

“Our relationship is something that we are incredibly protective of and we want to keep as sacred as possible,” Holland explained to the Hollywood Reporter in July 2023. “We don’t think that we owe it to anyone, it’s our thing, and it has nothing to do with our careers.”

This past few months however, Holland, 27, seems to have been more vocal, opening up about their relationship in an effort to put to bed rumours of their break up, and telling TMZ that it absolutely was not the case.

This week, the couple attended the Dune after party hand in hand, sending the clear message that their relationship is very much on. And just last month, the actor made a rare admission about their relationship at the 2024 Critics Choice Awards when asked if he watches his own work.

“Zendaya and I will, every now and then, watch Spider-Man 1 and reminisce about being 19 and making those movies again,” Tom Holland explained in the red carpet interview with Extra. “I love those movies, and I love savouring those moments, so I try not to watch them as often as I would maybe like to because it's so special. It's such a luxury, such a gift to be able to sit down and sort of relive your youth.”

He continued: “I wouldn't be the man I am today without that job and I'm so grateful and excited for the future and what it might hold.”

Zendaya and Tom Holland are one of the most popular celebrity couples, and for good reason. The pair are individual powerhouses with some of the biggest films and TV shows to their names (ahem, Euphoria and Spider Man), but they've also garnered enormous followings on social media thanks to their funny viral videos and cute comments.

The pair met on the set of Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2016, and while the dating rumours swirled for a good few years they declined to comment on the speculation and were reportedly dating other people. However, in 2021, photographs of Tom and Zendaya kissing went viral and it was finally official. 

The couple are notoriously private about their relationship but have opened up a handful of times over last couple of years, with Tom simply stating this summer during an interview: "I'm happy and in love." 

But Zendaya was forced to respond to rumours that the pair are engaged when eagle-eyed fans were convinced that they had spotted a clue in her recent photos. 

The actor shared a picture of her outfit on Instagram this weekend, where she was casually dressed in a t-shirt and a baseball cap. However, it was the large ring on her finger that piqued the interested of her fans, with some assuming it was a subtle nod to the pair's engagement. 

Immediately, her followers began to question whether or not Zendaya and Tom were engaged - but she was very quick to respond to the growing speculation in a video, and her reaction is hilarious. 

Laughing as she was filming, she said to the camera: "I can’t post anything, you guys. I posted it for my hat."

She continued: "Like, not for the ring on my right finger, you guys. Seriously, you think that’s how I would drop the news? You think? Like, what?"

Since Euphoria landed on our television screens in 2019, it has catapulted the cast into the limelight. While Zendaya already had a stellar acting career behind her with credits including Spider-Man and The Greatest Showman, her performance in the series earned her her first ever Emmy award, while the likes of Jacob Elordi, Alexa Demi and Hunter Schafer became instant red carpet fixtures. 

One of the show's biggest stars, Sydney Sweeney, quickly became a fan favourite for her excellent portrayal of teen Cassie Howard, and she has since gone on to star in The White Lotus. 

However, the 25 year old actor has been candid about how her nude scenes in Euphoria have impacted her over the years, and how women face a different reaction to onscreen sex scenes than their male counterparts. 

Last year, she told The Independent that she finds it frustrating that nudity overshadowed her work on the show, saying: "When a guy has a sex scene or shows his body, he still wins awards and gets praise. But the moment a girl does it, it's completely different... [there's] stigma against actresses who get naked on screen."

Now, Sydney has opened up about how being sexualised online has impacted not only her, but her family too. 

Talking to The Sun about her character Cassie's experience with revenge porn and slut-shaming, she said: "I had boobs before other girls and I felt ostracised for it."

She also explained that her family had been targeted online by those sharing nude images of her while playing Cassie. 

She added: "It got to the point where they were tagging my family. My cousins don’t need that. It’s completely disgusting and unfair. You have a character that goes through the scrutiny of being a sexualised person at school and then an audience that does the same thing."

However, Sydney is determined not to let that stop her doing what she loves. 

She continued: "I think it’s ridiculous. I’m an artist, I play characters. It makes me want to play characters that piss people off more."

How sweet!

Zendaya and Tom Holland are one of our favourite Hollywood couples. Although the pair tend to keep their relationship relatively private, Zendaya just gave us a rare insight during an interview with Entertainment Tonight.

Walking the red carpet at Euphoria's For Your Consideration event on Wednesday, the star spoke about what Tom Holland's support means to her.

"It's great to have that support and that love around you, because you need that," Zendaya said, referring to having Holland help her break away from playing such a heavy role in the hit American teen drama series. "This isn't an easy job so it's good to have that to free you up from it every now and then."

In the show, Zendaya plays the role of Rue, a student struggling to stay clean after getting out of rehab. The star also addressed when the next season of Euphoria could be released. Asked if it wouldn't be till 2024, Zendaya said, "I think that might be true. I honestly don't know, there's some executives that know better than me, you might want to ask them."

The actress looked as stylish as ever for her red carpet appearance, wearing a chic grey suit by Fear Of God. Zendaya paired the smart ensemble with Christian Louboutin's 'Kate' pumps and sparkling Bulgari jewellery. Tom Holland was not present at the event, but we love that Zendaya wasn't afraid to open up about their relationship.

The couple met back in 2016 while filming for Spider-Man: Homecoming, and although the pair have not confirmed when they started dating, they were spotted sharing a kiss in Holland's car back in 2021. Since then, they have made numerous public appearances together, and seem to be going from strength to strength.

When The Greatest Showman hit cinema screens in 2017, it became an instant hit. The musical, starring Hugh Jackman, Zac Efron and Zendaya, was a huge success across the globe and the chances are you've heard at least one of the songs even if you're yet to watch the movie (ahem, probably Never Enough because it's great).

While the exact location is being kept top secret, we do know that it'll be hosted in Manchester in October.

The event offers fan the chance to sing along to the popular musical, with the top secret venue turning into a sparkling circus for you to sing and dance in this autumn.

It will be running on Saturday 3rd, Sunday 4th, Friday 23rd, Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th October, with booking slots available at 12.30pm, 4pm and 7.30pm. Each session lasts 90 minutes and will include live circus acts, music and more.
