Nobody Wants This continues to make headlines, with Erin Foster's critically acclaimed Netflix comedy series currently filming its highly-anticipated third season.

The award-winning series stars Kristen Bell and Adam Brody as sex podcaster Joanne and rabbi Noah, as the unlikely couple and their families navigate their unorthodox relationship.

And with an all-star supporting cast including Justine Lupe, Jackie Tohn, Timothy Simons and Emily Arlook - not to mention new season two additions Leighton Meester and Seth Rogen, the series has quickly become a cult classic.

It was the season three cast that got the world talking recently, as some new Nobody Wants This guest stars were confirmed.

And joining Sarah Silverman, Andrew Rannells and Keyla Monterroso Mejia was one surprising new A-list addition, show creator Erin Foster herself.

Foster, who has appeared in The OC, Barely Famous and Daddy Issues among others, will be guest starring in season three as new character Nicole, described by Netflix as "a terminally single, chaotic, and somewhat messy person. She’s Joanne if everything had gone wrong in her life."

This will be Foster's first appearance in the show, with the 43-year-old writing the series based on her own relationship and conversion to Judaism.

And as an actress herself, Foster has previously revealed that before Kristen Bell came onboard, she actually wrote the lead role of Joanne for herself.

"I wanted an actress who would fall into it in a really relaxed, natural way," Foster has recalled in a previous interview with Harper’s Bazaar. "And from our first meeting at Netflix, after they bought the idea, immediately for them, it was like, ‘It’s Kristen Bell no matter what.’ They have worked with her many times before, and they are obsessed with her. They love her."

"We had a meeting, and she was so respectful, nice, and complimentary, and she very clearly, very quickly said, 'Erin, I know you wrote this for yourself to be in. I’m not comfortable taking this role away from you'," Foster continued. "And I said, 'Well, first of all, it doesn’t sound like I really have a choice, so let’s do this.'

"I said to her, ‘The truth is, I want to be a mum. I’m trying to get pregnant, and that’s really my life focus right now, becoming a mum,'" she added. "I don’t want to be sitting in a hair and make-up trailer at 5am. I was really trying to get pregnant, and I knew that those two things happening at the same time wasn’t going to work. And so I was kind of giving her my blessing. Like, 'I want it to be you. I don’t want it to be me'."

"Season six will bring you everything you love about the show and serve as the final chapter in Emily's adventure of a lifetime," she continued. "Our entire cast and crew are pouring our hearts into making this a fantastic farewell season, which we're now filming.

"I can't wait for all of the magic ahead, and to celebrate our final season with you in the most chic way yet. We're so incredibly grateful and we love you all."

"Annnnnd we're back — for the last time," Collins posted on her own Instagram profile, captioning a series of photographs on location in Mykonos. "Emily in Paris takes on Greece (and of course France) for one final, epic adventure. Let’s make it the most incredibly special season yet!…"

The "bittersweet" update has prompted an outpouring of support for Collins and the show, with fans mourning the end of the cult classic, while celebrating the show as a whole.

"I am definitely grieving this," read one comment on Collins' post. "Thank you for everything, you made us happy for 6 years! It was wonderful!"

"Nooo not the last one. I am not ready to say au revoir," one fan added, while another posted: "So not ready for the end, but excited to see the next sunny adventure."

Two Weeks in August is a dark comedy and psychological drama series, written by Catherine Shepherd.

The eight episode mini-series follows a group of friends from University who reunite years later for a summer holiday in Greece.

However, with a lot changing since their University days, cracks and tensions in relationships and friendships come to the surface, and their paradise quickly becomes a nightmare.

"There's a real hopefulness about booking a nice villa somewhere and thinking everyone's going to have a great time together," explained Antonia Thomas, who plays Jess in the series, via BBC. "But people change. They're not the same people they were 10 years ago.

"It becomes a kind of pressure cooker," she continued. "Everyone falls back into old roles, even if they don't fit anymore."

The 'British' White Lotus

People have already made comparisons between Two Weeks in August and HBO's The White Lotus, with both shows following picture-perfect holidays gone wrong.

However, in a recent interview with the Royal Television Society, Catherine Shepherd explained that there are also many differences between them.

"The White Lotus is about people who are super rich", she stated, explaining that Two Weeks in August instead follows "relatively normal people with normal concerns".

She was actually reportedly inspired by Ruben Östlund’s black comedies Force Majeure and Triangle of Sadness, stating: "I hope – in my dreams – we have made something a bit like that, which has cinematic epicness but is also funny."

The White Lotus is already the most talked-about show of 2026, with Mike White's highly-anticipated fourth season in the works.

And with the next instalment of the HBO show set at the Cannes Film Festival, filming is currently underway across Paris, Monaco and the French Riviera.

This has not been without its challenges, with A-list actress Helena Bonham Carter officially leaving the series last month, just one week into filming.

According to a spokesperson for The White Lotus, the character that "Mike White created for Helena Bonham Carter did not align once on set" after filming the first few scenes. And a decision was subsequently made to rewrite and recast the role.

"HBO, the producers and Mike White are saddened that they won’t get to work with her, but remain ardent fans and very much hope to work with the legendary actress on another project soon," the spokesperson continued.

Echoing the statement was also actor and comedian Steve Coogan, who is set to star in The White Lotus season four.

Coogan, 60, was filming alongside Bonham Carter before her exit from the show. And during his recent appearance at the TV BAFTAs, he confirmed that the story went in a "different direction" after finding that it wasn't "working".

"It was like, sometimes you find that something isn't working the way you want it to, in terms of, like, the character and the dynamic of the whole story," Coogan explained to Deadline of the situation. "So that was just a mutual decision. The whole part was rewritten from scratch."

It has since been confirmed that Big Little Lies star Laura Dern will be replacing Bonham Carter on the show.

The 59-year-old actress has already appeared in the show, playing the minor voice role of Abby, the estranged wife of Dominic Di Grasso, played by Michael Imperioli in season two.

There is not yet an official release date for The White Lotus season four.

The Devil Wears Prada 2 is finally here, with the highly-anticipated sequel hitting cinemas this month.

And following a blockbuster press tour, everything from Anna Wintour's surprising input to Anne Hathaway shutting down misinformation around the sequel has been going viral.

It is the star-studded cast list that has of course been making the most headlines, with The Devil Wears Prada 2 seeing Anne Hathaway, Meryl Streep and Stanley Tucci return to their iconic characters.

However, the original casting considerations for The Devil Wears Prada resurfaced this week, and it turns out that multiple A-list names were being considered for the three leading roles.

Andy Sachs casting considerations

Anne Hathaway, who stars in the franchise as Andy Sachs, has previously opened up about her casting, confirming that she was actually the ninth choice for the role.

Claire Danes, Kirsten Dunst, Juliette Lewis, Natalie Portman and Scarlett Johansson are all known to have auditioned for the part, with Kate Hudson even turning down an official offer.

So too did Rachel McAdams, with the Mean Girls actress widely reported to have been the producers' first choice. But despite being offered the part three times, she declined to work on the project.

"I felt guilty for not capitalizing on the opportunity that I was being given, because I knew I was in such a lucky spot," McAdams reflected of the situation in a 2023 interview with Bustle. "But I also knew it wasn’t quite jiving with my personality and what I needed to stay sane.

"There were definitely some anxious moments of wondering if I was just throwing it all away, and why was I doing that?," she continued. "It’s taken years to understand what I intuitively was doing."

Miranda Priestly casting considerations

Meryl Streep was nominated for an Oscar for her portrayal as Runway editor in chief, Miranda Priestly. But according to reports, her casting wasn't immediate, with multiple Hollywood heavyweights considered for the role.

These included Glenn Close, Catherine Zeta-Jones, and Michelle Pfeiffer. However, producers have reportedly claimed that Streep was always their first choice.

Nigel Kipling casting considerations

The role of Runway's creative director Nigel Kipling appears to have been the most difficult character to cast, with Stanley Tucci only hired three days before filming.

And before securing the part, he was reportedly up against major names, including Carson Kressley, Thomas Lennon, Denis Leary and TV presenter Graham Norton.

Romeo + Juliet star John Leguizamo has even revealed that he was officially offered the part, but he turned it down - a decision that he has called one of his biggest career regrets.

The Crown was one of the most popular TV shows of recent years, with the critically acclaimed Netflix series following the royal family and particularly the reign of Queen Elizabeth II.

The six seasons spanned Queen Elizabeth's accession to the throne in 1952, to her guiding the next generation of royals into the millennium, with the series ending in the early 2000s.

However, since the TV show's 2023 finale, the royal family has become even more front and centre. And from Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's step away from royal life, to Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor's recent arrest, there have been calls for the TV show to return with another season.

Now, the Netflix gods appear to have answered, with sources reporting that The Crown show creators are returning for a brand new spin-off show.

According to "a well-placed source" via the Daily Mail's Richard Eden, "Netflix has been locked in negotiations with the company for quite a long time about this spin-off series, but they've recently finally managed to seal the deal and come to an agreement."

However, it will not be the instalment that fans are expecting, with Eden reporting that the spin-off series "will span the period from Queen Victoria’s death in 1901 to the wedding of the then Princess Elizabeth in 1947."

"Peter Morgan had already been putting pen to pad," Eden continued of the prequel season, adding that "casting is expected to take place next year."

It is not known whether The Crown will ever return to depict the current royal family. However, show creator Peter Morgan has previously spoken out about his 20-year rule, suggesting that a modern season would be a long way off.

"I don't know where in the scheme of things Prince Andrew or indeed Meghan Markle or Harry will ever appear," Morgan explained to the Hollywood Reporter back in 2020. "We won't know, and you need time to stop something from being journalistic. And so I don't want to write about them because to write about them would instantly make it journalistic.

"I just think you get so much more interesting [with time]," he continued. "Meghan and Harry are in the middle of their journey, and I don't know what their journey is or how it will end. One wishes some happiness, but I'm much more comfortable writing about things that happened at least 20 years ago. I sort of have in my head a 20-year rule. That is enough time and enough distance to really understand something, to understand its role, to understand its position, to understand its relevance."

And a decision was subsequently made to rewrite and recast the role which is said to be central to season four.

"With filming just underway on Season 4 of The White Lotus, it had become apparent that the character which Mike White created for Helena Bonham Carter did not align once on set," a spokesperson for HBO confirmed in a statement to Deadline.

"The role has subsequently been rethought, is being rewritten and will be recast in the coming weeks," they continued.

"HBO, the producers and Mike White are saddened that they won’t get to work with her, but remain ardent fans and very much hope to work with the legendary actress on another project soon."

The remaining season four cast includes Philomena star Steve Coogan, The Hunger Games actor Alexander Ludwig, Sharp Objects' Chris Messina, Super 8 actress AJ Michalka and stand-up comedian Kumail Nanjiani, among others.

The rare move to recast during filming has happened once before on The White Lotus, with the season three role of Chloe, Greg Hunt's model girlfriend, originally played by actress Francesca Corney.

However, according to Deadline, producers decided to recast the role mid production, choosing to cast an older actress after making character development choices. And as a result, Corney, 32, was replaced by 38-year-old Charlotte Le Bon.

The Devil Wears Prada 2 is officially days away, with the highly-anticipated sequel set for cinematic release next week. And coming almost 20 years after the original, details around the high fashion film have been going viral.

The long-awaited follow-up will see Andy Sachs [Anne Hathaway] return to Runway, reuniting with Miranda Priestly [Meryl Streep], Emily Charlton [Emily Blunt] and Nigel Kipling [Stanley Tucci] as they fight to save the magazine.

Joining them for the sequel is an A-list TDWP2 cast, featuring new faces Simone Ashley, Lucy Liu, Justin Theroux and Pauline Chalamet. As well as some returning stars from the original film, including Tracie Thoms and Tibor Feldman.

However, there is one noticeable cast change, with Adrian Grenier, who played Andy Sachs' boyfriend Nate, not returning for the sequel.

Grenier has spoken out about the situation to Page Six, confirming his "disappointment".

"We’re all fans of the movie, whether or not we were in it," he explained to the publication. "Obviously, it was a disappointment that I didn’t get the call to be in the sequel. But I also understand there was some backlash with Nate, the character, so that might have something to do with it.”

"Either way, it’s a disappointment," he continued. "And either way, it leaves room for a beautiful spinoff in which Nate has his own film."

After the news of his absence went viral, Grenier went on to star in a Starbucks advert, poking fun at his TDWP character and the decision for him not to return.

"You might have seen the headlines that I wasn't asked to return for a certain sequel, but I'm good, really, it's all good energy," Grenier can be seen telling a Starbucks barista in the viral advert. "So, a toast to Nate - he made a mean sandwich, he loved his girlfriend... to a point.

"OK so he wasn't perfect," he later added. "So let's leave Nate in 2006 and keep this good energy going. I mean if they call, I'm free."

Now The Devil Wears Prada 2 director David Frankel has officially weighed in, breaking his silence on Grenier's absence and praising his "funny" advert.

"I had an idea about sneaking him into a cameo," Frankel explained to Entertainment Weekly of the sequel. "And, in the end, it was just too late in our production schedule to make it happen."

When asked about the original plans for the cameo, Frankel continued: "I probably shouldn’t say. But, I think I’m thrilled that [Grenier] did a Starbucks commercial, which was really funny and so self-effacing. I love the humility and the comedy of it!"

"Unfortunately, Anna jumped her cue, so the shot isn't always in focus. And I didn't want to do a second take," The Devil Wears Prada 2 director David Frankel recalled during a recent appearance on Amy Odell's 'Back Row' podcast. "I can't ask Anna to do take two."

Screenwriter Aline Brosh McKenna went on to add that Wintour did still influence change, giving some important notes behind the scenes while visiting the cast and crew on set.

The scene in question was set at the Dior offices where Emily Charlton [Blunt] now works, with Wintour reportedly finding fault with the pink floral arrangement on display.

According to Brosh McKenna, the former Vogue editor-in-chief suggested that the shot featured too many flowers, going on to explain that Dior would only have white flowers in their offices.

"I came running out and I was like, ‘Dude, kill the flowers,’" she recalled, confirming that the prop team replaced the pink floral display with a smaller vase of white flowers instead.

This, according to show creators, is for a very important reason, with The White Lotus season four set at the Cannes Film Festival.

"The fourth season will follow a new group of White Lotus hotel guests and employees over the span of a week, taking place during the Cannes Film Festival," read an official synopsis, per Variety.

And with Cannes Film Festival taking place between Tuesday 12 May and Saturday 23 May 2026, filming is expected to begin soon.

According to sources, the White Lotus cast will be filming for three to four days during the second week of the film festival, with several cast members expected to walk the red carpet while filming.

Little is known so far about the upcoming instalment's characters, but the star-studded season four cast has officially been announced, and it features some major names.

Some fans have even reported that they will not be able to watch season three as a result, with @zendayathena posting, "Not even Zendaya will get me to tune into this I'm out."

This week, Zendaya - who, deservedly, has scooped up not one but two Primetime Emmy awards for her performance as Rue Bennett - appeared on The Drew Barrymore show where she discussed the future of the show. While we're still waiting to see what unfolds in Euphoria season 3, many are already speculating about a fourth season and wondering what that might look like. However, The Drama star appeared to confirm that the third season will be the last. When Drew asked her if this is the finale, Zendaya replied: "I think so, yeah." She then added: "That closure is coming."

And it looks like creator Sam Levinson is also approaching Euphoria season 3 as the final chapter. At the show's premiere in Hollywood this week, he told Variety that he has always written the show 'like it's the last', and confirmed he has 'no plans' to take it any further at this point. He said: "I want to finish this as strong as I can. I’m cutting [episodes] seven and eight still. I’m putting some finishing touches. I just want to deliver a fucking slam dunk season."

In terms of a specific timeline, we’re catching up with them five years after they've graduated - and a lot that can happen in that amount of time. Especially when you consider the twists and turns that unfolded between the first two seasons, which were set just weeks apart. Some fans have stated that they're looking at the new series as a ‘spin-off’ rather than a continuation of the first two seasons.

They're now out in the real world - with some very unexpected careers

Unlike the first two seasons, there will be several different environments and plot points to follow in season 3. Maddy will be over in Hollywood working as a casting agent, while Cassie is exploring life as an adult content creator with Nate playing dutiful husband after taking over his Dad’s business. Meanwhile, Jules is at art school (but is also experimenting as a sugar baby) and Lexi is working as an events assistant.

One fan on TikTok explained that Cassie’s work in adult content creation is the perfect character development for her, suggesting: "Cassie’s arc is taking us to the fact that she becomes an Only Fans model and is basically a trophy wife. I feel like the first series set it up to be that she has daddy issues. She has fallen in love with every guy she’s dated. She’s a lover girl."

The show has an even bigger budget for season 3

The trailer for Euphoria season 3 certainly gets your heart pumping - there’s fire, there are explosions, we see men with guns, big parties, and Rue does a lot of running from people who are clearly after her. Fans of the show made their feelings known in the comments of the social posts from HBO, likening it to Breaking Bad and Grand Theft Auto. Some feel it looks like a 'completely different show entirely' - and it looks like creator Sam Levinson is definitely embracing a 'go big or go home' mentality.

Rue's redemption arc

As viewers, we've watched a young Rue struggle with addiction while grappling with anxiety, depression and bipolar disorder. But could season 3 be when fans see her redemption arc? Levinson previously revealed that Rue’s season 3 storyline would see her attempting to embrace sobriety - but that the odds may be stacked against her. In an interview with Elle, he described the upcoming season as a 'film noir' and suggested that Rue would 'explore what it means to be an individual with principles in a corrupt world'.

A popular online fan theory is that someone will die from a drug-related issue, and Rue will take vengeance. In the trailer, she's faced with past debts to gangster Laurie - so it looks like there are two ways to go: either Rue finds her path to recovery, or she'll fall into another spiral.

Cassie and Nate’s toxic suburban prison

One interesting theory and trailer 'easter egg' is Cassie and Nate’s wedding as the focal point for the group’s reunion. We see some characters have stayed in contact (like Rue and Maddy), but having them all together would only happen at a big, chaotic event like, say, a Euphoria wedding. Show writers teased that the wedding is 'unforgettable' so we’re imagining Lexi (who made it her mission in season two to bring down Nate) is going to make it messy. One Reddit user wrote: "Something is definitely going down at the wedding reception, I think Nate will be keeping some kind of secret from her which she finds out during the reception."

Fans are also speculating that the wedding is less happily-ever-after, and more toxic-suburban-prison. In the trailer, Nate is disgusted by Cassie's career and hints to marriage strains. Oh dear.

The Amazon Prime show follows Isabella 'Belly' Conklin [Lola Tung] as she navigates the ongoing love triangle between brothers Conrad and Jeremiah Fisher [Christopher Briney and Gavin Casalegno, respectively].

And following the show's viral third season in 2025, creators have confirmed that Belly and Conrad's final chapter will officially be getting a film sequel.

Details around the highly-anticipated project have since been generating interest, from the casting and storyline decisions to the filming schedule and release date.

However, it is rumoured cast drama that has made headlines this week, as reports have surfaced around the TSITP cast salaries.

According to a report by Deadline, the "salary issue" surrounds the main cast - Lola Tung, Christopher Briney and Gavin Casalegno. And with filming for the long-awaited movie set to begin later this month, sources have alleged that there is drama "simmering in the background."

The trio reportedly originally made between $35,000 and $40,000 per episode, before renegotiating their pay at the end of season two.

But, according to sources via the publication, they were asked to "commit to a movie" while talks about their pay were underway. And despite the film sequel being "met with resistance" by some of the cast, they allegedly signed the deals "under duress", feeling "forced" to accept the new terms with their salary bumps being put "in jeopardy."

It has been reported that studio sources dispute these claims.

Tung, Briney and Casalegno's salaries were reportedly raised to $100,000 per episode in season three, with the stars predicted to earn approximately $300,000 for The Summer I Turned Pretty film sequel.

Several members of the cast allegedly reached out over wage increases for the film spin-off, with the publication reporting that fellow TSITP stars Sean Kaufman and Rain Spencer were also involved.

However, it is reported that these requests were denied.

Now, it has been claimed that the cast is looking into whether their contracts include "promotional obligations", as they may not want to take part in the future press tour, considering the behind the scenes drama.

"Given the treatment, [the] actors may not be keen on performing publicity if their deals don’t stipulate that," reported Deadline.

The cast of The Summer I Turned Pretty has not commented on the reports.

It’s been four long years since Euphoria wrapped, so with season three set to air on HBO very soon it’s understandable that things are going to look a little different this time around. Aside from the obvious fact that they’re not in East Highland High School anymore, the cast list for season 3 is missing some huge names and key characters that we grew to adore. Returning to a much-loved show can be a risk for some actors, especially as so many Euphoria stars' careers have skyrocketed since the show first aired. There’s also been the heartbreaking deaths of Angus Cloud, who played Fez, and Eric Danes, who played Nate’s father Cal Jacobs.

In 2024, HBO Chairman and CEO Casey Bloys spoke to Variety about the prospect of Euphoria season three looking very different to previous seasons, even though it'll feature "the same core cast" (plus some new - but familiar - faces). So far, we know that Zendaya is returning as Rue, Sydney Sweeney is back as Cassie, Jacob Elordi is reprising his role as Nate, and Hunter Schafer will return to play Jules.

Storm Reid (Gia) and Barbie Ferreira (Kat) were notably absent from the list, though Reid revealed in November 2024 that she wouldn't be back, and Ferreira also said she left the series for good in 2022, stating that it was a mutual decision to end Kat’s story. Despite fans' hopes that they may make a surprise appearance, it's looking unlikely.

Zendaya was Emmy-nominated not once but twice for her portrayal of Rue, winning the award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series in both 2020 and 2022. Luckily, she’s back for season 3 and by the looks of the trailers, Rue is still very much at the centre of the chaos.

Speaking on Entertainment Weekly’s The Award podcast, she said: "It will be fascinating to see and understand these characters outside of the context of high school and how all the stuff that we saw when they were kids and they were in high school affects the adulthood they have, and who they become in a much bigger world. I’ll be interested to see what happens too."

Hunter Schafer will be returning to her role as Jules in season 3, where it's been teased she'll be exploring two new storylines: life as a 'sugar baby', and navigating her studies art school.

Sydney Sweeney as Cassie Howard

If you thought Sydney’s character Cassie was controversial in the first two seasons, she’s 'even worse' in season three, apparently. Speaking to Jimmy Fallon, Sydney explained that 'Cassie is crazy' this time around, and teased that she is 'unhinged'. However, Sydney did add that she's ultimately on a path to 'self discovery'. Plus, Cassie is planning her wedding to Nate and she also appears to be an adult content creator these days.

Jacob Elordi as Nate Jacobs

Jacob Elordi has been booked and busy in recent years, starring in the likes of Wuthering Heights and Frankenstein to name a few. But he did have time to return to Euphoria as Nate, promising that his character is 'nicer' than before.

Even though fans will be pleased to see Nate return, Jacob himself seemed a little wary about coming back after a long break. In an interview with Gwyneth Paltrow for Variety’s Actors on Actors, he expressed a little doubt saying: "Whether it works or not, I don’t know. There’s a chance that what we've done — what I’ve done — is not good. I'm not sure."

In the trailer, we see Nate and Cassie plan their wedding - but he seems less than thrilled about Cassie’s new choice of career. In the trailer, he's heard seething: "I work all day and my bride-to-be is spread eagled on the internet."

Alexa Demie as Maddy Perez

Breathe a big sigh of relief, as Maddy and her flawless outfits are back for season three. Hurrah! Arguably the most ‘successful’ four years later, Maddy is working in Hollywood as a respected talent agent. The rest of her storyline has been kept a secret, but she is seen with Rue in the trailer - and by the looks of things, there’s going to be a bad-girl-post-grad character arc in store.

Eric Dane as Cal Jacobs

Beloved actor Eric Danes passed away in February 2026, a year after being diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). Despite his diagnosis, he returned to filming for season three and will appear as Cal Jacobs even though he doesn't appear in the trailer.

Euphoria creator Sam Levinson paid tribute to Eric following his passing writing in a statement: "Working with him was an honor. Being his friend was a gift. Eric's family is in our prayers. May his memory be for a blessing."

Actor Eric Dane, who played Nate's father Cal, sadly passed away in February 2026 following a battle with ALS. Last month, People confirmed that he had filmed his scenes for Euphoria season three, and will star in the show's upcoming season.

When did Euphoria season three start filming?

HBO announced that season three would commence filming in January 2025, but this was then pushed back a month following delays. In 2024, Vanity Fair had reported that creator Sam Levison’s first scripts faced pushback from HBO, and executive producer Zendaya.

What have the cast said about filming new episodes of Euphoria?

Aside from filming delays, the cast of Euphoria had a pretty different filming experience this time around, with Jacob Elordi admitting that none of the cast really know what happens as the filming happened so separately. "I don’t really know what anyone else is doing. It’s all quite separate," he told Variety last summer.

Sydney Sweeney, whose character Cassie is planning to marry Nate in the upcoming season, said the same. She told Variety in October last year: "I know bits and pieces of storylines when they interact with mine. I’m going to get to watch it with everyone else. It’s been a while but it’s the same crew and it feels like I was going home to my family. I was 20 when I did the pilot. It feels very comfortable."

Are there plans to make a fourth season of Euphoria?

Well, we’re pretty focused on season three for now - but a season four hasn’t been completely ruled out. However, considering the delays around season three and the fact that the cast have carved out flourishing Hollywood careers since Euphoria started, it's looking unlikely. HBO’s Head of Drama Francesca Orsi also told Deadline in 2025: "We’ve talked about it, I don’t think anything is over until it’s over, but it’s been discussed that this is the end."

Big Little Lies continues to make headlines, with executive producers Reese Witherspoon and Nicole Kidman confirming that the highly-anticipated third season is officially in development.

The HBO drama series is an adaptation of Liane Moriarty's best-selling novel, following five mothers in Monterey, California, whose lives are turned upside down after a school incident involving their children.

The critically acclaimed series stars Reese Witherspoon (Madeline Mackenzie), Nicole Kidman (Celeste Wright), Shailene Woodley (Jane Chapman), Laura Dern (Renata Klein) and Zoë Kravitz (Bonnie Carlson), with the first season adapting Moriarty's source material.

However, without a book sequel to work from, season two of the HBO show expanded on the original. And with the series, airing in 2019, leaving room for a third instalment, there has long been talk about the next season.

Now, show creators have given an update about the Big Little Lies universe, and surprisingly the next instalment is coming in book form, with Moriarty releasing its sequel, Big Little Truths, this August.

The novel, coming over ten years after the original, will see Moriarty revisit BLL's "unforgettable circle of women." And it has been confirmed that her first ever sequel will be adapted for season three, with the full cast reportedly expected to return.

"The last time we saw Madeline, Celeste, Jane, Renata, and Bonnie, their children were just five years old," reads the synopsis of Big Little Truths. "But now the kids are in high school, with all of the drama that accompanies teendom (goodbye playdates, hello drugs, sex, and alcohol).

"When a strange man lurks around the school asking supposedly innocent questions and the principal receives a severed human finger in the mail, the community is in an uproar," it continues. "This tightly connected group will finally have to face the full repercussions of the big little truths they have - and haven’t - shared with their kids, with each other, and with themselves."

"I found it such a joy to return to this beachside town with Celeste, Madeline and Jane," Liane Moriarty announced in a statement, following the news of Big Little Truths. "It felt like I was catching up with old friends.

"I really hope readers experience that same sense of a reunion," she added. "Of course I’ve changed since I wrote Big Little Lies, and the world has changed, so it was fascinating to think about how these characters might have changed too especially as they deal with the challenges of raising teens.”

Big Little Truths is set to be released by Penguin Random House on August 25, 2026, but it is not yet known when season three will air on TV.

What is Saturday Night Live?

The popular US show Saturday Night Live, or SNL, has been on air for fifty years. It debuted in 1975, and creator Lorne Michaels continues to work on the comedy sketch show - and, he'll be acting as executive producer on the new UK iteration.

Every week, writers and comedians work on several sketches, comedy segments and satirical weekly news items reflective of timely stories spanning politics to pop culture. The show is then performed to a live audience on, you guessed it, Saturday, with a celebrity host and a special musical performance.

So far, we know that week one will include Tina Fey as the first celeb host with a musical performance from Wet Leg. The following week, Jamie Dornan will lead with Wolf Alice as the musical guest. The third week will see Riz Ahmed hosting, with Kasabian as the live performers.

Nobody Wants This continues to make headlines, with Erin Foster's critically acclaimed Netflix comedy series officially renewed for a third season. And with a release date projected for autumn 2026, filming for the third instalment is expected to start soon.

Big Little Lies season two saw the ‘Monterey Five’ struggle with the lies and secrecy around Perry Wright's death, pushed down a flight of stairs by Bonnie Carlson during a violent altercation with his wife Celeste in the season one finale.

The season two finale saw the five mothers turn themselves in, led by Carlson, with the final scene seeing them enter the police station together.

Therefore, it would make sense if season three picked up at the end of season two, following the aftermath of their confession. However, given the passing of time, with the child actors now teenagers, it will likely pick up years down the line.

Season two however, was not based on a novel, with Moriarty not writing a sequel to Big Little Lies, therefore it simply expanded on the original source material.

The same will reportedly be true of season three. And while it will not be adapted from Moriarty's work, it is believed that the author will play a major role in the plot creation and development process.

According to Deadline, Francesca Sloane has been chosen to write the first episode of season three, also coming onboard as an executive producer.

"You want to capture the essence of the book, and some people are very loyal to the manuscript, but I think you have to have room to make things a little more cinematic," Witherspoon has explained of the adaptation process in general at Hello Sunshine. "We're very upfront with them about that we might need to change a few things to fit the format of a movie or television structure. Filmmaking is more of a collaboration as opposed to writing a novel, which is more of a solo effort."

Love Story is the most talked-about show of the moment, with the star-studded series following the world famous romance and tragic deaths of John F. Kennedy Jr. and Carolyn Bessette.

The show, executively produced by Ryan Murphy, stars Sarah Pidgeon as Carolyn Bessette and Paul Anthony Kelly as JFK Jr., with a wider ensemble of Naomi Watts (Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis), Grace Gummer (Caroline Kennedy) and Alessandro Nivola (Calvin Klein).

However, it was Daryl Hannah’s portrayal in the show that caused controversy, with the Hollywood actress speaking out this week to criticise her on-screen depiction.

Hannah and JFK Jr. dated before his relationship with Bessette, with their romance featuring heavily in the Fx drama series.

And just two weeks after its release date, Hannah, now 65, has spoken out to criticise her dramatised portrayal, writing an op-ed for the New York Times this week.

“I have generally chosen not to respond to media coverage of me. I have long believed that engaging with distortion often amplifies it,” Hannah wrote in the now viral op-ed. “But a recent tragedy-exploiting television series about John F. Kennedy Jr. and Carolyn Bessette features a character using my name and presents her as me. The choice to portray her as irritating, self-absorbed, whiny and inappropriate was no accident.”

“Lies live online forever,” Hannah wrote in her public essay, noting that “a dramatized portrayal can become, for millions of viewers, the definitive version of a real person’s life.”

“Popular culture has long elevated certain women by portraying others as rivals, obstacles or villains. Isn’t it textbook misogyny to tear down one woman in order to build up another?”

“The character ‘Daryl Hannah’ portrayed in the series is not even a remotely accurate representation of my life, my conduct or my relationship with John,” she continued. “The actions and behaviors attributed to me are untrue. I have never used cocaine in my life or hosted cocaine-fueled parties. I have never pressured anyone into marriage. I have never desecrated any family heirloom or intruded upon anyone’s private memorial. I have never planted any story in the press. I never compared Jacqueline Onassis’ death to a dog’s. It’s appalling to me that I even have to defend myself against a television show. These are not creative embellishments of personality. They are assertions about conduct — and they are false.

“I know that as an actress I will be in the public eye. I’ve endured a number of outrageous lies, crappy stories and unflattering characterizations before,” her op-ed continued. “I chose not to battle them but to focus on my work and respect my loved ones by keeping my private life private. But my silence should not be mistaken for agreement with lies. Apparently, my discretion makes me a target.”

This weekend saw the 2026 Screen Actors Guild Awards, with A-listers from Timothée Chalamet to Emma Stone travelling to LA's Shrine Auditorium to celebrate the past year in film and television. And from Kristen Bell's second time hosting to the star-studded SAG Awards red carpet, the ceremony made headlines from start to finish.

Sinners emerged as the big winner of the evening in film, taking home awards in the best ensemble cast and best actor categories. While in the television categories, Seth Rogen's The Studio dominated, picking up wins for best series ensemble, best actor and best actress, won posthumously by the late Catherine O'Hara.

Bridgerton season four is officially here, with the highly-anticipated season finale airing on Netflix this week.

And from the new S4 castings and rumoured royal cameos to the behind the scenes antics and sweet cast traditions, the Netflix Regency drama has been dominating the headlines.

The show's fourth season follows the love story between Benedict Bridgerton and Sophie Baek, played by Luke Thompson and Yerin Ha.

Not to mention, it sees the return of the star-studded ensemble cast, with Ruth Gemmell, Claudia Jessie, Luke Newton, Nicola Coughlan, Jonathan Bailey, Simone Ashley, Hannah Dodd, Florence Hunt and Will Tilston returning each season as the extended Bridgerton family.

However, two Bridgerton family members were noticeably absent, with Daphne Bridgerton and her husband Simon Basset, the Duke of Hastings, disappearing from the series.

Phoebe Dynevor and Regé-Jean Page starred in season one as Bridgerton and Basset. And despite Dynevor's brief return in season two, the beloved onscreen couple has not appeared in the show since.

Regé-Jean Page has publicly confirmed that he is not planning to return to Bridgerton, describing his character as "a one season arc" with a "beginning, middle [and] end".

And Page and Dynevor will both be busy with other projects, finding major success in films from The Gray Man and Black Bag to Inheritance and Anniversary, respectively.

Still, other previous Bridgerton stars continue to remain within the show's universe, most recently A-listers Jonathan Bailey and Simone Ashley who returned for a minor role in season four.

And as such, there have been questions around whether Page and Dynevor will make a small cameo.

Alternatively, fans have been debating whether the roles of Daphne Bridgerton and Simon Basset, the Duke of Hastings, will be recast in order for the characters to feature in future seasons.

This is something that showrunner Jess Brownell has opened up about, responding to the reports in a recent interview with Variety.

"We are not interested in recasting the characters," Brownell stated. "I think it would feel like a disservice to everything Regé and Phoebe set up in Season one, and all the beautiful work they put into those characters.

"Logistically, we want to make sure we bring them back when we have something really meaty for them," she continued. "And to have them come back to say a line at a funeral and just prove that they were there, it wouldn’t feel right for many reasons."

It's almost that time - with award season in full swing, the BRIT Awards are back this weekend, and the biggest names in music are gathering to celebrate the very best in the industry. And, for the first time in its almost fifty year history, the BRITs will not take place in London and will instead be held at Manchester's Co-Op Live.

Last year, Jade Thirlwall's incredible red carpet look went viral and the former Little Mix star's enormous success as a solo artist earned her the coveted Best Pop Act statuette. Other winners from 2025 included Charli XCX, who picked up a total of five awards including Artist of the Year, Album of the Year and Song of the Year. Plus, there was an unforgettable performance from Sabrina Carpenter, complete with Kings Guard dancers and an enormous pink heart bed.

When is the 2026 BRIT Awards?

The BRIT Awards 2026 will take place on Saturday 28th February 2026, with a red carpet live stream from 5.30pm on the official BRITs Instagram and Facebook accounts. The ceremony will air on ITV 1 and ITVX from 8.15pm to 10pm.

Sunday saw the 2026 BAFTAs, with the 79th British Academy Film Awards taking over London's Royal Festival Hall.

And with the annual ceremony celebrating the past year in film, major Hollywood names from Kate Hudson to Paul Mescal joined Prince William and Princess Kate on the red carpet.

"Wuthering Heights" is the most talked-about film of the moment, with Emerald Fennell's polarising new adaptation already becoming a box-office hit.

The 2026 release is inspired by Emily Brontë's 1847 gothic romance novel, starring Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi as tragic lovers, Cathy and Heathcliff.

And from its "primal" and "sexual" focus, to the "Wuthering Heights" corset fashion revival, the long-awaited release, written and directed by Fennell, is all anyone has been talking about.

It is a particularly controversial scene from the new adaptation that made headlines this week, with Fennell's interpretation featuring themes of sadomasochism.

One scene in question sees Heathcliff [Jacob Elordi] and Isabella [Alison Oliver] engage in BDSM, with Isabella seen wearing a dog collar and sitting on all fours, acting like a dog during a role play.

And while its inclusion has proven divisive with viewers, both Elordi and Oliver have defended the scene, reflecting on the importance of the moment to the plot.

"That was so much fun, that scene," Elordi explained to Entertainment Weekly. "I think that was Emerald kind of taking the killing of the dog and these really dark parts of the novel and putting them into this scene.

"I had so much fun because it's at that point that Isabella and Heathcliff are completely off the deep end," he continued. "They're living in a kind of hell, you know?"

"It's the moment that his obsession clicks over into something else – into a rabid desperation – and he loses any semblance of composure. It's a nice point for the character, I think."

"I remember [Fennell] saying something really interesting about like, 'Because [Isabella is] actually quite a repressed person, and because she's been so infantilised, anything that is repressed, when it comes out, it's messy and unorganised,'" added Oliver.

"And she's in a very unknown, strange, different place. A lot of that was just playing out the mess of the new place that she's in."

"There’s an enormous amount of sadomasochism in this book," Fennell explained at the 2025 Brontë Women’s Writing festival, while defending her adaptation. "There’s a reason people were deeply shocked by it.”

"No one is [going to be] in agreement about any element of it”, she later added of her 2026 adaptation. "I can’t make something for everyone.”

Being a Great Conversationalist Takes Practice, It’s Not a Personality Trait

I talk for a living now, but I grew up with a speech impediment and saw a speech therapist. Just as my ‘ph’, ‘f’ and ‘th’ sounds became passable, I was bullied for having a ‘gay voice’ as a teenager. I lost all confidence, but I decided to make a change. With every conversation, my confidence grew. Those conversations brought me new friends, new lessons and eventually led me to the job I have today.

We can all be guilty of leaving it to others to make the effort in conversations, but you can’t rely on everyone else. You are capable of conversing with anyone, and the power to do so is within you. Here’s the secret: you are your own greatest asset. Being yourself makes you more likeable and socially attractive because people are drawn to authenticity. I spent so long pretending to be someone else to be liked, but the reason I have the career I have now is because of who I am, not in spite of it.

The best place to start is with the conversation you have with yourself. I still get nervous before any interview, so I practise ‘chatiffirmations’ like, “I am confident,” “I deserve to be in this room,” and “I am interesting, and people should be interested in me.” I repeat them until my nerves turn into fuel. The amazing thing is your subconscious doesn’t know the difference between truth and lie, so you can train yourself into confidence, no matter how socially anxious you think you are.

No Pressure, But You Have Seven Seconds to Make It Count

We form our first impression in just seven seconds. First impressions aren’t built on what you're wearing, or even exactly what you say; they’re built on how you make other people feel. So ask how someone is, and then really listen to the answer. Introduce yourself, ask their name to show you value them (and remember it), and make sure your voice feels alive rather than downbeat; people are drawn to positive energy. Body language matters as it’s our first signal of how warm and open we are. Uncross your arms and put your phone away to welcome people into your space.

If you get nervous in social situations, body language can also become your personality boost. Whenever I feel nervous before interviewing someone, I stand up straight, open my chest and walk in with a smile — you can fake it until you make it — and it instantly puts people at ease. And it’s much simpler than you think. It’s not about asking big, dramatic questions; it’s about making small tweaks to your demeanour that turn a conversation into a connection.

Be Interested as Well as Interesting

From family gatherings where the only questions are, “Have you got a partner yet?” or “Are you going to have a baby?” — FYI, no one has the right to your personal life — to networking events where someone asks what you do before they ask how you are, we all encounter people who ask boring questions, or none at all.

The trick I’ve learned is to keep questions open and intentional. In any social setting, instead of asking, “What have you been up to lately?” — which usually prompts everyone to talk about how busy they are (it’s the Busy Olympics these days, after all) — try asking, “What’s the most exciting thing that’s happened to you in the last week?”

It makes the person pause and reflect, and it shows you’re taking a genuine interest. Then, in return, share a related experience of your own so you come across as not just interested, but interesting.

Remember You Have Two Ears and One Mouth for a Reason…

It’s a visual reminder to listen twice as much as you talk. The greatest lesson I’ve learned as an interviewer is that being a great conversationalist comes down to how well you listen, not how much you say. We’re often guilty of listening with the intent to reply rather than truly hearing what someone is saying. But you learn far more when you genuinely listen, especially in an interview.

I can have hundreds of questions prepared, but if I’m only focused on getting through my list, I risk missing what someone is actually telling me, and the valuable details that could lead to far more interesting follow-up questions. When you say, “You just mentioned (insert key detail here), tell me more about that — how did that make you feel?” or you begin your next question using their exact words, it shows you’re genuinely engaged. And when people feel heard, they’re far more likely to open up.

The key thing to remember is that listening is an active process, not a passive one. Maintain eye contact, so your attention stays on the person in front of you. Resist the urge to interrupt. Use brief affirmations to show you’re following along.

One of the greatest benefits of listening is that it can also become a wellbeing practice. Whenever I feel anxious about something in my own life, I find that having a conversation, especially about something completely unrelated, and actively listening forces my brain to focus on someone else. That shift in attention alone can leave me feeling a million times better afterwards.

Remember That Difficult Conversations Should Be a Two-Way Street

Many of us fear difficult conversations. We avoid them, or we don’t know how to engage with someone we disagree with without it escalating into shouting. But the way you communicate with people you disagree with is the true measure of how good you are at communicating. We need confrontation in order to grow.

Make a genuine effort to understand someone with a different point of view by resisting the urge to talk over them. Give them space to speak, and ensure they respect your space to speak, too. It’s a two-way conversation, after all. If someone keeps cutting you off after you’ve given them room to share their thoughts, politely and calmly say, “What I was saying is important to me, so please let me finish before we come back to your point.”

Remind yourself that it’s never going to be perfect. Give yourself permission to admit — to yourself and to others — that you might feel nervous, and acknowledge that you may not get it perfect. It’s always better to have tried than not to have bothered at all. You might still disagree at the end, but the goal is to reach a place of understanding.

Make ‘Moglecting’ a Thing of the Past

The biggest barrier to connection is probably in your hand right now. I call checking your mobile phone while chatting ‘moglecting’, and we’re all guilty of it. If someone is holding their phone while talking to you, do you feel truly important to them? No. If there’s a phone on the table at dinner, does it signal that you have their full attention? Not really. It’s a constant visual reminder of the world outside the conversation.

If you’re repeatedly looking down at your phone — especially in a bar or at a networking event — it sends the message that you’re closed off and uninterested in connecting. But you never know whether the person next to you could be your next boss, friend or even partner. So put the phone down, look up and be open to the people around you. You never know where a conversation might lead, and you’ll feel mentally lighter with less screen time, too.

The trailer for the second part of Bridgerton Season 4 has finally landed, and Benedict Bridgerton looks set to face a painful decision when it comes to his forbidden relationship with maid Sophie Baek.

Fans of the Netflix smash hit were left hanging back in January when the first four episodes of the new Bridgerton season landed on the streaming service, making them wait until February 26th for the rest.

The first half saw the second-oldest Bridgerton brother, Benedict (Luke Thompson), fall for housemaid Sophie (Yerin Ha) in typically romantic and racy Bridgerton fashion.

The rules of high society and the Bridgerton family's high status mean that servant Sophie is far from an appropriate wife for Benedict, and things came crashing down for the lovers at the end of part one.

Determined to still have Sophie in his life but reluctant to stray from what society expects, Benedict asked devastated Sophie to be his mistress.

As Sophie fled without giving Benedict an answer, we were left desperate to know what would come of the besotted pair - and a new first look at the next episodes has got us excited.

"Being your mistress is the last thing I would ever want," Sophie declares in the trailer, while a torn Benedict replies, "How else am I to be with a woman society has made it impossible for me to be with?

"I cannot love a maid and yet you have taken possession of me."

With Benedict facing a decision between his heart and his status, it looks as though his siblings are set to try to guide him.

The trailer confirms that Jonathan Bailey will make a return for the final episodes of the season, and his beloved character, Anthony Bridgerton, tells his brother, "You have convinced yourself that she is reason enough to risk everything."

Piling on the pressure, Benedict's mother, the elegant Lady Violet Bridgerton, says, "There is one sacrifice you will have to make. Your family. Whatever you choose, you must live with it forever."

Hinting that Benedict's decision may not be the one fans are predicting him to make, Luke Thompson told Tudum, "This is maybe not the story that we would've expected for Benedict. It's a very different Benedict that we see in Part 2."

Bridgerton Season 4 Part 2 arrives on Netflix on February 26th

Ever since the release of the “Wuthering Heights” trailer, the internet has been flooded with talk about how loyal the Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi film will be to the original Emily Brontë novel of the same name.

First looks at the highly anticipated movie sparked curiosity (and concern) among fans of the literary classic, who were confused by some of the more avant garde costumes, as well as the controversial casting and design choices in director Emerald Fennell’s latest project. Not to mention, there have been endless questions about why the title of the timeless love story has been decorated with quotation marks - and what this means for the adaptation.

So, is “Wuthering Heights” true to the novel? How much has been changed for Emerald’s retelling of the iconic tale? And what's with those quotation marks?

Why does “Wuthering Heights” have quotation marks in the title?

First, let’s delve into Emerald’s decision to wrap the title of her Brontë reboot in quotation marks. Naturally, she’s been asked about it several times during the press tour (which also provided fans with some unexpectedly gushy Margot and Jacob moments).

Ultimately, it comes down to the fact that “Wuthering Heights” does have differences from the novel - and isn't an exact adaptation by any means. The director claims it's her own remembering of the story, with a liberal helping of her own imagination - including a healthy dose of what she wished had happened in the 1847 classic.

"The thing for me is that you can’t adapt a book as dense and complicated and difficult as this book. I can’t say I’m making Wuthering Heights. It’s not possible," she told Fandango.

Emerald, who also directed Saltburn, continued to explain, "What I can say is I’m making a version of it. There’s a version that I remembered reading that isn’t quite real. And there’s a version that I wanted stuff to happen that never happened. So it is Wuthering Heights and it isn’t. But really, I’d say that any adaptation of a novel, especially a novel like this, should have quotation marks around it."

When asked how closely her film will follow the Wuthering Heights book rather than her own vision, Emerald told The Hollywood Reporter: "The thing is that it’s my favourite book in the world. Like many people who love this book, I’m kind of fanatical about it, so I knew right from the get-go I couldn’t ever hope to make anything that could even encompass the greatness of this book. All I could do was make a movie that made me feel the way the book made me feel."

Why are the costumes in “Wuthering Heights” historically inaccurate?

When the world was treated to first release images of the “Wuthering Heights” costumes, there was instant controversy. During the film, Margot Robbie appears on screen as Cathy Earnshaw in a mixture of historically inaccurate dresses - from a red latex corset to a shimmering puff-sleeved wedding gown, and an iridescent tulle number. People were quick to point out that the film’s fashion choices are a far, far cry from the Victorian era it's set in.

“Wuthering Heights” costume designer, Jacqueline Durran, told British Vogue that around 50 costumes were used for Cathy throughout the film - and explained that a blend of multiple decades' worth of fashion was the inspiration behind the styling in Emerald’s vibrant reimagining. Through the costume visuals alone, we now know it certainly doesn’t adhere to every element of the original.

"Emerald had been working on Wuthering Heights for maybe a year, maybe longer, by the time we met to talk about it. She had this massive range of references, which had a bit of everything – the Tudor period, the 1950s, contemporary things sprinkled throughout," Jacquenline said. "​​Our dates are all confused in the sense that we’re not representing a moment in time at all – we’re just picking images or styles that we like for each character."

Is the plot of “Wuthering Heights” different from the book?

While the general plot of Cathy and Heathcliff’s beloved love story has been maintained for the “Wuthering Heights”, we don’t know exactly how many details of the original novel have been tweaked for Emerald’s adaptation. What we do know is that the film is far raunchier than the book, with erotically charged sex scenes set to heavily feature. Comparing the racier take to the book, Margot emphasised just how much the kissing has been ramped up in an interview, stating: "They never really kissed in the book, but we kiss a lot. We kiss everywhere."

The casting of Jacob and Margot as the famous “Wuthering Heights” pair isn’t totally reflective of the characters in the book, either, which hasn't gone unnoticed. In the novel, Cathy is a teenage girl while Heathcliff is older than her, although Margot Robbie was 34 years old at the time of filming and Jacob Elordi was 28. Additionally, Brontë was deliberately ambiguous about Heathcliff's ethnicity in the book to highlight the differences between him and the other characters, causing backlash from the book's fans with regards to Jacob Elordi's casting.

It’s undeniable that “Wuthering Heights” isn’t a precise retelling, but that seemingly hasn't deterred film fans. In fact, according to a report in Deadline, the film is predicted to have an enormous opening, to the tune of $40m.

Robbie and Fennell have previously collaborated on Promising Young Woman (2020) and Saltburn (2023), with Robbie producing and Fennell writing and directing both projects. However, this is Robbie's first time acting in one of Fennell's films.

"Emerald loves the book and she really focused on the feeling it gave her when she first read it at 14," Robbie later added of the upcoming cinematic release. "She channels that raw emotional experience so it’s an interpretation rather than an adaptation.

"In my opinion, it is one of the greatest love stories of all time and it has a great cast and incredible actors. It’s a great film,” she added.

"I auditioned for Leslie Bibb’s part, and I remember getting to the audition and being like — I mean, I’m just such a huge fan of the show, so I was giddy with excitement," Jessica Capshaw has explained in the past on her and Camilla Luddington's 'Call It What It Is' podcast.

However, given that plasters were invented in the early 19th century, 100 years after the Regency era, viewers have been calling out the blunder as distracting.

"I wish they had covered it better - like put a fancy ear cuff up there or something," posted one viewer, while another pointed out: "She isn't wearing it in other scenes so maybe they just forgot while doing takes. I am obsessed with the outfits so of course I'm analyzing every detail."

"There’s so many errors in this season," added another fan, noting that Queen Charlotte appears to have a tragus piercing too.

Other viewers disagreed however, noting that Bridgerton is first and foremost a source of entertainment, and pointing out other modern touches like the Taylor Swift and Ariana Grande cover songs in the soundtrack.

This has reportedly inspired a Bridgerton cast tradition, with the onscreen siblings passing down a book of advice from their experience leading a season.

"Phoebe was great at [counselling] me, because it’s not something you can explain to your friends and family, who you don’t see for weeks on end," Bailey has previously explained to the Radio Times.

The advice, he noted, was physical as well as mental, including "to get fit, eat healthily and get as much sleep as possible".

However, Luke Thompson explained this week that he turned down the advice from his onscreen siblings, insisting that he wanted to "make [his own] mistakes."

"People said, 'If you ever need help, then…' And that's great! I think I just wanted to make my mistakes and sort of battle my way through it, just because I think you probably learn more that way."

"It's just so personal," he continued. "The thing about Bridgerton is that every season it's slightly different. It sort of regenerates, and part of that regeneration is that it's a different couple of actors at the center of it. So, in a way, it's difficult to even maybe be able to give advice, because it's such a personal experience.... It's not this formula that you have to just live up to, and the people who've done it before [are] like, 'This is how you do it.' As season four of The Traitors comes to an end—the final episode will air on the BBC tonight, 23 January 2026—the UK finds itself a nation in mourning. The hit BBC show has been a fixture on our screens since New Year's Day, acting not only as a constant source of intrigue, conversation and debate, but a much-needed distraction from the incessant January gloom. One thing that is sure to endure, however, is the allure of Claudia Winkleman's wardrobe.

The country-chic outfits worn by the show's presenter were an undisputed highlight of each episode, offering a fabulously Scottish Highlands-coded aesthetic that is at once fashion-forward, deeply practical and easy to replicate—and that has kick-started the so-called 'Traitors effect' in more ways than one.

First, it's largely thanks to Claudia's Traitors wardrobe that pieces once strictly reserved for traditional British countryside-dwellers are now considered the height of cool. "I always create mood boards and have a character in mind to focus on—that really points me in the direction of where I need to be researching," explains McKeefry of her process.

"Fortunately, it has meant I have discovered some smaller independent brands which work perfectly alongside more high-end brands and high-street brands. The aesthetic lends itself to British brands, and Scottish and Irish ones too, which feels really authentic to the show. I love the element of surprise when you see something unexpected from an independent brand mixed with an established one like McQueen, Givenchy or Burberry."

Given that The Traitors boasts millions of weekly viewers, McKeefry's styling choices have, in turn, introduced a multitude of independent brands to a vast new audience. In season four alone, Claudia's looks have done wonders for small brands like The Landskein, Le Kilt, Hambro & Miller, Grenson, Purdey, Duke + Dexter, Connolly and Johnstons of Elgin in exposure alone—not to mention that the exact pieces she has worn have, almost universally, quickly sold out.

One such brand that has hugely benefitted from the so-called 'Traitors effect' is Madeleine Thompson, whose black and white cashmere jumper was worn by Claudia in episode four. "We had no idea prior to the episode airing that we would be featured, so we experienced the complete shock and joy in real time which was unbelievable," says Thompson. "We have since had hundreds of orders of the Tamino Top that Claudia wore, which has been completely mind-blowing, exhilarating and challenging at the same time."

"I think Sinead and Claudia have created their own quintessentially British vibe which manages to be utterly elevated, directional and aspirational with an edge, whilst simultaneously being what women essentially just want to wear every day," continues Thompson.

"The way that Sinead openly champions small brands like mine is significant and rare. She tags and retags and sends out direct shopping links to make it as easy as possible for viewers to buy... I cannot emphasise enough how important this moment has been for my brand and I do not take it for granted.”

More than just dressing Claudia Winkleman, then, in many ways, it can be said that through The Traitors, McKeefry is in fact dressing a whole nation. "I think it’s been refreshing for audiences to see looks that are inspiring and playful mixed with looks that are more wearable," she says of the unprecedented public response. "I receive lots of messages from people who have recreated Traitors looks on the high street by incorporating tweeds and knits, and this season a huge number of people are buying kilts especially."

It’s a reminder that some of the most influential, far-reaching fashion moments don’t always come from the catwalk—they can just as well come from a castle in the Highlands, too.

The popular game show sees 25 contestants compete for the £120,000 prize, with two secret teams ('faithfuls' and 'traitors') working against each other to murder and banish players each night.

And with season four introducing a 'secret traitor' into the mix in a surprise twist, the latest instalment has been one of the most dramatic to date.

It has been the fan theories around this year’s contestants that have got the world talking the most, particularly following several unprecedented dramatic confrontations in the castle.

And with 'secret traitor' Fiona Hughes turning on fellow 'traitor' Rachel Duffy in a public showdown, later followed by a climactic face-off between Rachel and 'faithful' Harriet Tyce, viewers questioned whether the BBC show had manufactured the drama.

"The dramatic scenes between Rachel and Fiona were the result of 'clever meddling' by the producers," one source alleged to the Mail. "They knew the rivalry had potential and encouraged the contestants to publicly challenge each other for their place in the competition."

"As with most reality shows, producers are heavily involved in shaping the narrative," the source reportedly added.

However, the fan theories around manufactured drama on The Traitors were immediately shut down, with a spokesperson for the show publicly dismissing the speculation as "categorically untrue" in a rare statement.

"To suggest any staging, scripting, player preference, or interference otherwise is categorically untrue," announced a spokesperson for The Traitors. "Players each have their own strategies, and we follow their interactions and the game play as it unfolds."

The Traitors season four finale is scheduled to air on Friday 23 January, with new episodes released on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

And with the season four line-up including a secret barrister, a retired police detective and an FBI-trained traitor, season four is bringing the drama.

It was The Traitors’ unlikely origins that got the world talking this week, as the surprising story behind the series resurfaced. And being the most popular show of the moment, it has of course since gone viral.

The Traitors famously started in The Netherlands, with the original Dutch show, De Verraders, created by Mark Pos. And according to the Dutch writer, the series was actually inspired by a real story, and more specifically, a 17th century Dutch shipwreck.

The Batavia was the flagship of the Dutch East India Company, but in 1629 it crashed on the Houtman Abrolhos Islands, with approximately 300 passengers making it to shore.

According to historians, Deputy captain Jeronimus Cornelisz had been planning a mutiny. And when he was left in charge of the survivors while the captain sought help, he and his henchmen plotted and murdered the survivors on the opposing team.

“I bought a book in 2014 about a vessel that crashed into some islands near Australia,” Pos has previously explained to GQ. “The story is not about traitors or loyalists – it’s about mutineers on an island. But when [the ship’s passengers] crashed on the island, they didn’t know who was in favour of the mutiny or not. They all lied to each other, because they didn't trust anyone.

“When I was reading this, I thought, what happens when there is a group together on an island, and they need each other? What does that human behaviour look like?”

The show was so inspired by the historical event that the original pitched version of The Traitors was actually called The Mutineers, set onboard a ship and seeing contestants forced to jump overboard when they were eliminated.

“I pitched it for five years, and nobody wanted to buy it - I probably pitched it 40 or 50 times to broadcasters [in the Netherlands],” Pos recalled. “Some of them said to me, ‘Oh no, not The Traitors again’ But when we made the first series in November 2020, I had a feeling that this was something really special.”

The Traitors season four is available to watch now, with new episodes released on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Friday each week.

Season four will be taking place in Saint Tropez, France, with a new roster of A-listers checking into the infamous White Lotus hotel, filmed this season in 19th century castle, Château de la Messardière.

However, it is of course the season four cast that garners the most interest, with new additions to the HBO project being announced over time.

The Hunger Games star Alexander Ludwig and Super 8's AJ Michalka were the first two cast members to be confirmed, with news breaking that they had signed onto the Mike White project in December 2025.

And this weekend, the next two White Lotus stars have officially been announced, with the news unsurprisingly going viral.

British actor and comedian Steve Coogan will be joining the project, with the 60-year-old bringing some serious star quality, with credits including Philomena, Marie Antoinette, Night at the Museum, Tropic Thunder, Ella Enchanted, The Other Guys and of course Alan Partridge.

Not to mention, his many accolades, winning seven BAFTAs, one International Emmy and earning two Academy Award nominations throughout his career.

Coogan will be joined by new White Lotus recruit, Caleb Jonte Edwards, a Hollywood newcomer, whose biggest credit to date is a guest role in BBC drama, Black Snow.

This exciting news comes amid reports that two major names are in "early talks for a starring role", with Deadline alleging that official conversations were underway with Harry Potter star Helena Bonham Carter.

And according to recent reports, The Newsroom and Sharp Objects actor Chris Messina could also be close to signing onto the project, with the 51-year-old reportedly receiving an official offer.

There are of course no details as of yet around Ludwig, Michalka, Coogan and Edwards' White Lotus characters, but we will continue to update this story.

Bridgerton season four is officially days away, with the Netflix show's highly-anticipated next instalment set for release later this month.

The fourth season will be an adaptation of An Offer From a Gentleman, the third novel from Julia Quinn's bestselling series, starring Luke Thompson and Yerin Ha as Benedict Bridgerton and Sophie Baek.

And from the first look images and new season four actors to potential royal cameos and original castings, the Netflix Regency drama has been making non-stop headlines.

It was the upcoming fifth and sixth seasons that got the world talking the most however, as Bridgerton creators appeared to drop a major spoiler.

The revelation took place at the recent season four premiere in Paris, where show runner Jess Brownell confirmed the leading love stories for seasons five and six on the red carpet.

The Bridgerton series is famously based on the bestselling book collection by Julia Quinn, featuring eight Regency romance novels - each centred around one of the eight Bridgerton children. And with Netflix shaking up the release order, fans have been speculating as to which Bridgerton characters will lead the future seasons.

Bridgerton's debut season was based on the first book in Quinn's series, The Duke and I, following Daphne Bridgerton and her relationship with Simon Basset, the Duke of Hastings. The second season adapted The Viscount Who Loved Me, following the love story between Lord Anthony Bridgerton and Kate Sharma. And the third and fourth seasons adapted Romancing Mr. Bridgerton and An Offer From a Gentleman, seeing Colin Bridgerton wed Penelope Featherington, and Benedict Bridgerton marrying Sophie Baek.

According to Brownell, it will be Eloise Bridgerton (Claudia Jessie) and Francesca Bridgerton (Hannah Dodd) who will be the next leads in seasons five and six, adapting To Sir Phillip, With Love and When He Was Wicked.

"I would say both characters with the initials on my pocket squares will get seasons in 5 and 6," Brownell announced to Deadline on the red carpet, with her outfit embroidered with an 'E' for Eloise Bridgerton and an 'F' for Francesca Bridgerton.

And by process of elimination, this also reveals the leading characters in seasons seven and eight, with only two Bridgerton children remaining, Hyacinth Bridgerton, It's In His Kiss, and Gregory Bridgerton, On the Way to the Wedding.

Well, this is exciting.

Bridgerton season four is set for release in two instalments. Part one will arrive on Thursday 29 January 2026, and part two will air one month later, released on Thursday 26 February 2026.
