"But yeah chasing your own adventure and every scenario you can, but the reason why people love the BRITs is because it is chaos and you cannot plan for everything and stuff does happen."

However, Whitehall did later confirm Swift's absence, stating on Hits Radio: "She will not be there. That sounded so unconvincing! But it’s true. She won’t be there."

Interchangeably referred to as the “Sultan of Sequins,” the “Rajah of Rhinestones,” and the “Guru of Glitter,” Mackie has whipped up a fantasy universe of sequins, feathers, sheer fabrics, and disruptive elegance for over seven decades. Dressing legends like Cher, Tina Turner, Diana Ross—mother of Marie Claire UK cover star, Tracee Ellis Ross—and a constellation of iconic stars whose public personas became inseparable from his dresses, Mackie has himself become an icon.

His signature, a mix of showgirl‑glamour and couture, has changed what it means for a woman to stand out. “A woman who wears my clothes is not afraid to be noticed,” Mackie once said, and at a time when women were often expected to disappear elegantly into the background, Mackie engineered outfits that refused to be overlooked.

Bob Mackie was born in 1939 in Monterey Park, California. As a teenager, he was enraptured by the vibrant Technicolor of early Hollywood: musicals, stage shows, and cabaret were the genesis of his inspiration and would remain a defining influence for decades.

After a brief stint studying at the Chouinard Art Institute, he began sketching for film studios, working under the legendary costume designer Edith Head at Paramount and also with couture legend Jean Louis. The legendary “naked” marquisette gown drenched in 2,500 rhinestones worn by Marilyn Monroe in 1962 when she breathily serenaded JFK, and later worn by Kim Kardashian, was originally sketched by Mackie.

These formative experiences honed both his flair for the dramatic and instinct for celebrity image‑making. But the show really started when he moved into TV variety shows. While the studio heads of the time might have dismissed the ‘small screen,’ Mackie—ever ahead of his time—realised its potential not just for bold costume design, but as a powerful medium capable of reaching far more people than cinema ever could.

In the ’60s and ’70s, Mackie became the costume designer for programs like The Carol Burnett Show. Over its 11-year run, he created an astonishing 17,000 outfits for Burnett and her guests. This meant that every week, regular folks at home could step into his vision of glamour: sequins, feathers, lashings of every specimen of sparkle. Fantasy fashion, under Mackie’s direction, was no longer the reserve of aristocrats, actors, and elites. Instead, this performance of femininity became accessible to all. This shift wouldn’t stay confined to TV either. Suddenly, fashion for women didn’t have to be quiet, minimal, or understated to be taken seriously.

With an archive as extensive and firmly cemented in the public imagination as Mackie’s, no single creation could define his legacy. But, for the purposes of brevity, if you had to try, most would land on the legendary “naked‑illusion” gown he made for Cher’s appearance at the 1974 Met Gala. Translucent, with artfully positioned vines of sequins and whispery feathers tracing the outline of her sinuous figure, the gown has been homaged ad infinitum. Most recently, on Dsquared2’s Autumn/Winter 2025 runway, when Amelia Gray stormed the catwalk in a cappuccino-hued rendition, all dark, poker-straight hair and heavily kohled eyes à la Cher.

As Mackie recalled in an interview with Vogue, the dress created “a lot of hubbub.” Some cities even banned the magazines with Cher on the cover. In his words: “How often do you get a girl that looks like that, dressed like that, on the cover of Time magazine?”

But to consider it simply scandalous is almost to miss the point. The gown reframed the female body not as something to hide or control, but as something to celebrate. Given that this was in the ‘70s, a time when feminism, sexual liberation, and shifting mores were all in flux, a dress like that wasn’t just fashion or even fantasy; it was a statement.

With the benefit of hindsight, cultural critics acknowledge that what the dress was really doing was daring to ask: Who owns the female body? Who decides when and how she shows it? No wonder the legacy of that specific gown echoes so plainly in red‑carpet looks (more to come on that), editorial shoots, and aforementioned runway shows.

Mackie’s creative relationship with Cher began with TV in the late ’60s and blossomed across decades of reinvention: hippie‑era beginnings, disco glamour, ballgowns, tour costumes, a dizzying array of red‑carpet looks.

Cher herself said, in reference to Mackie’s designs: “Without Bob I would have been … a peacock without feathers.” But Cher was far from alone. Tina Turner was another standout collaborator. For her 1977 Las Vegas residency, Mackie created a gold-and-silver chain‑fringe bodysuit replete with lamé wings. Another sartorial statement, the look captured a moment of transformation: Turner, newly independent and triumphant, emerging as a solo powerhouse. “She was born to be on stage,” Mackie recalled in a recent interview with People.

Collaborations with some of music’s most powerful women were about more than dresses; they became beacons of identity, freedom, and reinvention at a time when women weren’t easily awarded such things. Women of colour, women in their 40s and 50s, who might have been cast aside a decade earlier, could communicate their presence through a new language of style.

Each era has seen a new generation of stars embrace Bob Mackie’s iconic aesthetic. Lady Gaga, Beyoncé, Miley Cyrus, and Dua Lipa have all worn or referenced his dizzyingly glamorous style. When Zendaya inducted Cher into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame last year, there was only one designer to turn to. For the ceremony, Zendaya, with the help of her longtime stylist and collaborator Law Roach—a creative powerhouse pairing reminiscent of Mackie and Cher’s partnership—opted for an archival gold gown with a criss-cross, ab-bearing bodice evocative of styles worn by Cher in the ’70s. What Mackie started on stage gradually seeped into mainstream fashion. Sequins, dazzle, and drama became integral to the red carpet and everyday style. Today, it would be unusual for a red carpet not to feature body-con silhouettes, sheer fabrics, and glittering embellishments — all Mackie signatures. Even ready-to-wear labels borrow from his visual language. As friends and critics noted in Vogue’s 2019 oral history: “Everybody designing red-carpet dresses today owes him a debt.”

His influence spans both pop culture and couture. Throughout the decades, Mackie has proved that luxury isn’t only about subdued elegance; it can, and often should, be loud, proud, and unapologetic. Life lived in full, glorious Technicolour — just like the classic Hollywood films he grew up watching.

The popstar is releasing not one but two shows, The End of an Era docuseries and the Eras Tour Final Show, both of which will be available to watch on Disney Plus from 12th December 2025.

The teaser trailer for The End of an Era docu-series includes behind the scenes clips from the record-breaking world tour, following Taylor as she prepares for the live shows, spends time with her fiance Travis Kelce, and rehearses her dance routines. According to multiple sources who spoke to TMZ, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end could be forced to skip the ceremony due to game commitments. The Sun previously reported that Selena and Benny are set to get married at a top-secret Montecito venue on Saturday 27th September, although reps for the pair have not confirmed the date. However, if accurate, it falls a day before Travis plays the Baltimore Ravens at the Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri.

Of course, celebrities often squeeze important events into their jam-packed scheduled where possible - in 2024, Taylor herself even managed to fly straight from her Eras Tour show in Japan to the Superbowl to cheer for Travis. But it seems that unfortunately that may not be possible for Travis when it comes to Selena and Benny's wedding, and Taylor may attend by herself as players reportedly have an 11pm curfew the night before their games (per People).

Well, while Swifties don't need convincing that this qualifies Taylor for the Super Bowl halftime performance, it seems that the NFL isn't ruling it out, either. In fact, Commissioner Roger Goodell has only fuelled the speculation by refusing to deny that she's in the running. Speaking on NBC's Today, he said that Tayor is 'welcome' to do it, and when asked if there were meetings happening behind the scenes he simply replied: "Maybe."

Adding that Jay Z - who oversees the slot as part of Roc Nation - will make the announcement, Goodell said: "It's in his hands. I'm waiting for the smoke to come out."

It sounds like it's not a complete impossibility... we'll have to wait and see.

During the chat on New Heights, which was released on 3rd September, Travis explained that he ensured the proposal was perfect for Taylor. He said: "Man, you've gotta know your gal. You've gotta know your gal or your significant other. You’ve gotta know them. You can't let how somebody else does it make you feel like you need to do it that way."

When Jason added that you shouldn't look at what other people are doing when it comes to a proposal, Travis agreed: "Yeah, I hear you. It might get the creative juices going. And that's not the most interesting part - on the last night of the Eras Tour, she ended her Karma performance by exiting through an orange door. So it won't come as a surprise to a single Swiftie that she's been dropping easter eggs for this album for ages.

Fans will know that Taylor is very considered when it comes to numerology - from release dates to references in her songs. And it appears that, in line with the fact that this is her twelfth album, she's moving away from her usual use of '13' and leaning into the 12 of it all. Not only did the news drop on 12th August, but the announcement was made on Instagram at 12:12.

Eagle eyed fans spotted not one but three 'TS' signs in the clip from the New Heights podcast. If you look closely, there's one white, one orange and one red card with her initials emblazoned on them. Taylor's website makes it very clear that while the shipping date for physical copies of The Life of a Showgirl is 13th October, that it's not the release date. Either way - until there's more concrete evidence, Swifties are marking their calendars.

Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift's sweet friendship has spanned almost two decades, and it turns out that their close bond was born out of the most relatable circumstances - teenage heartbreak.

Austin (Taylor Swift's brother) and Natalie (no introduction needed) were spotted hanging out and chatting happily earlier this month. People published photos of the two enjoying each other's company in New York City's Tribeca - and of course the pictures immediately sparked dating rumours. Still, despite spending time together, the two were also surrounded by a handful of other people, so it wasn't exactly the most romantic of settings.

But, despite the internet's insistence that the pair could be an item, at time of writing there's no evidence that the producer and actress are, in fact, in a relationshp. According to Us Weekly, the last hard proof of Austin's relationship status is that he was seen holding hands with the model Sydney Ness back in September 2022. After that, Austin and Sydney were seen in public together a handful of times in 2023 and 2024. While neither has spoken about their relationship, it's possible that they're enjoying their relationship out of the limelight.

One reason people are enjoying the speculation around Natalie Portman's dating life is that the actress has spoken about coming out of the other side following her difficult divorce from Benjamin Millepied, with whom she shares two children. Now, one source is claiming things have become quite strained between the pair, to the point where Taylor isn't answering the Gossip Girl star's messages anymore.

"[Blake] has been reaching out to [Taylor] with texts, voicemails and even emails begging to mend what they once had," a source alleged to the Daily Mail. "Taylor hasn’t responded to any of Blake’s pleas." Meanwhile, many of the popstar's celebrity friends have reportedly severed ties with Blake as the drama rages on. One insider claimed: "Gigi [Hadid's] loyalty is to Taylor."

Blake filed a lawsuit against Justin, her costar and director on the film It Ends With Us, back in December, accusing him of sexual harassment and of orchestrating a smear campaign against her - allegations which he has denied. While on the surface the ongoing legal battle has nothing to do with Taylor, she became implicated in a couple of ways.

For one thing, Justin previously alleged that Blake had text him about the power of her 'dragons' - alluding to her friends and associates within the industry, with many speculating that Taylor was one of these people. Later, Justin's team was given permission to see texts between Blake and Taylor pertaining to It Ends With Us, with a judge writing: "Given that Lively has represented that Swift had knowledge of complaints or discussions about the working environment on the film, among other issues, the requests for messages with Swift regarding the film and this action are reasonably tailored to discover information that would prove or disprove Lively’s harassment and retaliation claims."

Meanwhile, Justin's team previously issued a subpoena for Taylor — meaning she would have had to testify in the trial — but the request was thrown out by the court. There was also a claim that Blake had "threatened" to share private texts from Taylor, though a lawyer for the actress called this "categorically false."

According to a source who spoke to Page Six, Taylor resents being brought into the ongoing lawsuit. They previously claimed to the publication: "She will forever be furious at how Blake quite clearly was using her for clout and leverage in her dealings with Justin. She really hates that Blake would even think like that, let alone write the things she did in that text. The damage Justin did by revealing those texts — the 'dragons' text most especially, and by his initial subpoena, even though he dropped it — is lasting and probably permanent." Before that, a source had told People: "Their friendship has halted. Taylor wants no part in this drama."

Blake and Taylor have been close friends for many years, often appearing out in public together at restaurants and sports games. The singer is also godmother to Blake's children, and named a song, betty, after her third daughter.

Taylor Swift has added many strings to her bow over the years - from directing music videos to reportedly penning an original TV show script - but the latest addition to the popstar's CV has something to do with Lena Dunham's new Netflix show, Too Much. According to the Girls creator, Taylor was pivotal in making one of the series' key scenes happen.

In a highly emotional scene durning the season one finale, Lena brilliantly utilised her pal Taylor's 2022 song Bigger Than the Whole Sky to accompany the protagonist's double loss: a break-up with her boyfriend, and the death of her dog. Turns out, though, the heart-wrenching scene was supposed to be set to a completely different Taylor track.

"I'm always listening to [Taylor] when I write — I mean, like 99.9% of America, I'm just always listening to her," Lena told USA Today. "Originally, that was actually a different song and it was something that had been used in another film fairly recently. She watched the sequence and so did her brother, Austin, who is amazing and does all of her music placement. So she said, 'Actually, I think I know what should be here.'"

While Lena loved the idea of having Bigger Than the Whole Sky in the episode, she was concerned that they'd have to do a whole lot of editing to make it work. But, in the end, "we did not have to move a frame," she revealed.

"That song just said everything that had to be said about their relationship, about her relationship to her dog - I mean, it's one of my absolute favourite moments in the show, and one of my absolute favourite moments I've ever had the chance to film," Lena continued. "It's my first time actually getting to use a T.S. song in my work, and besides the amazing music that my husband put together for the show, it's everything I could've dreamed of. I couldn't feel luckier that she let us use it."

Lena was surrounded by loved ones when bringing Too Much to life: her husband Luis Felber co-created the series, and she and Taylor have been close friends for many years. The popstar was even a bridesmaid at Lena's 2021 wedding, which is really saying something.

Justin Baldoni's legal team has been officially allowed to access text messages between Blake Lively and Taylor Swift that are relevant to Blake's experience on the set of It Ends With Us. As seen in official court documents issued by Judge Lewis Liman, and as reported by Us Weekly, the judge has ruled that, despite the validity of Blake's objections that accessing these text messages would only serve to perpetuate a splashy public narrative for Justin's side, said texts would also provide valuable information relevant to the case.

"Given that Lively has represented that Swift had knowledge of complaints or discussions about the working environment on the film, among other issues, the requests for messages with Swift regarding the film and this action are reasonably tailored to discover information that would prove or disprove Lively’s harassment and retaliation claims," Judge Liman wrote.

"Lively’s motion is rooted in the broader concern that the Wayfarer Parties are using demands for communications with Swift not 'to obtain information relevant to claims and defenses in court, but to prop up a public relations narrative outside of court.' But this concern does not justify denying the Wayfarer Parties relevant discovery."

This ruling comes in response to Blake's team's request for a "protective order" against Justin's "continuing demands" for relevant messages with Taylor.

But in a statement to Us Weekly, a rep for the Gossip Girl actress objected to Justin's apparent desire to implicate Taylor in the court case, despite the singer not necessarily being central to the drama. "Justin Baldoni and the Wayfarer parties demanded access to Taylor Swift’s private communications — despite having already subpoenaed and then withdrawn that subpoena," Blake's rep said.

"Baldoni’s desire to drag Taylor Swift into this has been constant dating back to August 2024 ... We will continue to call out Baldoni’s relentless efforts to exploit Ms Swift’s popularity, which from day one has been nothing more than a distraction from the serious sexual harassment and retaliation accusations he and the Wayfarer parties are facing."

Justin previously subpoenaed Taylor, meaning she would have had to testify in the court case, but after significant pushback from her team and Blake's, the subpoena was eventually dismissed. Justin's countersuit against Blake has also been thrown out. The court proceedings are now solely based on Blake's original lawsuit against Justin and his allies, which she filed in late December.

Meanwhile, Taylor and Blake's formerly close friendship is said to have suffered as a result of all the drama. Their relationship has reportedly "halted" and one source has even claimed that Taylor is "furious" at Blake for dragging her into this messy situation.

In particular, Blake allegedly texted Justin while they were filming: "If you ever get around to watching Game of Thrones, you’ll appreciate that I’m Khaleesi, and like her, I happen to have a few dragons. For better or worse, but usually better. Because my dragons also protect those I fight for. So really we all benefit from those gorgeous monsters of mine. You will too, I can promise you." People have widely assumed that Taylor was considered one of these "dragons."

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are not married, so let's all slow down a little bit. Rumours that the ultra-famous couple had had a secret wedding started spreading earlier this month when the wedding planner for NFL player Cole Kmet, of the Chicago Bears, shared behind-the-scenes pics from his nuptials with wife Emily Jarosz.

Speaking on her Instagram Story in early June, wedding planner Ellie Nottoli inadvertently shared a letter addressed to "Taylor and Travis Kelce," who were fittingly destined for table 13 (13 is famously Taylor's lucky number), as reported by Page Six.

Never mind that Taylor and Travis weren't actually at Emily and Cole's wedding because they were attending another wedding scheduled for the same day, Ellie explained: "We all know Taylor and Travis were at a different wedding in Tennessee. But each guest had an envelope that was adhered to a beautiful backdrop, and Emily wrote love notes to all of her guests."

Because the letter was addressed simply to "Taylor and Travis Kelce," implying a silent "Taylor Kelce," fans lost their absolute minds over it online, wondering if the couple were in fact secretly married.

But the "Fortnight" singer made fast work of shutting down that particular narrative (one which she would very much like to be excluded from.....) when she visited a children's hospital in Hollywood, Florida, this past weekend, according to ELLE.

In footage shared on social media, a patient can be heard asking Taylor — who was wearing a beautiful sage green sundress — why she's in Florida, to which the popstar responds: "My boyfriend is training here... so I just thought I'd come and see how you're doing, just to drop in on you, you know what I mean?"

Whether deliberate or not, the use of the word "boyfriend" here is a clear indication that the marriage rumours are unfounded. Incidentally, Taylor is no stranger to this kind of gossip. While she was dating Joe Alwyn, from whom she split in April 2023 after six years together, rumours that the two were secretly married or engaged emerged all the time during their relationship.

Strong words, and perhaps a cautionary tale when it comes to similar rumours about Taylor and Travis.

It seems there's bad blood between Taylor Swift and Blake Lively. As the Gossip Girl star's legal battle against It Ends With Us director and costar Justin Baldoni rages on, things have reportedly been quite tense between her and the godmother of her children — with one source claiming the popstar is "furious" at Blake.

The source, who spoke to Page Six, says that Taylor resents having been dragged into the drama via a text Justin previously alleged Blake had sent him, which read: "If you ever get around to watching Game of Thrones, you’ll appreciate that I’m Khaleesi, and like her, I happen to have a few dragons. For better or worse, but usually better. Because my dragons also protect those I fight for. So really we all benefit from those gorgeous monsters of mine. You will too, I can promise you." As reported by CNN, it's widely believed that the "dragons" in question would include Taylor.

"Taylor buries hatchets but keeps maps of where she put them, remember?" Page Six's source joked, referencing the star's song "End Game," from revenge-heavy album Reputation. They added: "She will forever be furious at how Blake quite clearly was using her for clout and leverage in her dealings with Justin. She really hates that Blake would even think like that, let alone write the things she did in that text."

Blake sued Justin in late December, accusing the Jane The Virgin actor of sexual harassment and of orchestrating a smear campaign against her, accusations which Justin categorically denies. The actor launched a countersuit, accusing Blake and some of her allies of extortion and defamation, but his suit was thrown out by a judge earlier this month.

If you've been following all the legal drama so far, you'll know that Justin's team subpoenaed Taylor, meaning she would have had to testify in the trial, but the subpoena was eventually thrown out after pushback from Taylor's side.

In response to the decision, Blake's team clearly sided with Taylor. "We supported the efforts of Taylor's team to quash these inappropriate subpoenas directed to her counsel and we will continue to stand up for any third party who is unjustly harassed or threatened in the process," they said in a statement last month.

Even though Taylor is no longer officially implicated in the court case in that way, the whole ordeal has reportedly put a real strain on her friendship with Blake. The two women were previously so close that Taylor was even the one to reveal the name of Blake's third child with husband Ryan Reynolds in her 2020 song "betty," but their relationship has suffered in recent months.

A source previously told People: "Their friendship has halted. Taylor wants no part in this drama." A second insider added that the two women were "taking some space" from each other, but that they were "not no longer friends." Hopefully they're able to patch things up!

Taylor Swift fans have been waiting for Reputation (Taylor's Version) for years now, looking for clues of its release in everything from her outfits to her Instagram captions. However, it seemed that despite her fans' hopes, no album re-release was on the horizon. But this week, Taylor appeared to drop the biggest hint yet that the re-record of her 2017 album was coming.

During the latest episode of the hit TV series The Handmaid's Tale, there was some pretty concrete evidence that Rep TV is, in fact, on its way. In the show's sixth season, one scene uses pretty much the entirety of Look What You Made Me Do (Taylor's Version) which - at the very least - means that parts of the album have been recorded, even if it is just that one song. According to The Hollywood Reporter, parts of the re-recorded track were already featured in Amazon's Wilderness in 2023, but the series only used small snippets at the time — nothing like the two minutes of music featured in The Handmaid's Tale.

The Hulu show shared the clip in its entirety on X recently - as did Universal Music Group - but both accounts ended up deleting the video, meaning fans have been left questioning if Taylor is planning the release imminently.

In the meantime, the latest theory is that Taylor is preparing to announce her final re-recording at the American Music Awards on 26th May, but over the last few years many theories like this have not come to fruition. As for the use of the song in The Handmaid's Tale, star and director Elisabeth Moss proved that she's also the ultimate Swiftie in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter. She said: "I’ve been wanting to use a Taylor song for many years on the show, and we finally found the perfect spot for a track from her, and I’m so glad we waited because there could not be a more perfect song for a more perfect moment."

She added: "Taylor has been such an inspiration to me personally. As a Swiftie myself, and I think I can speak for Yvonne [Strahovski] and our entire cast, who are all Swifties, it’s such an honour to be able to use her music in the final episodes of our show."

However, in another twist to the tale, despite the fact that the clip was deleted from social media you can still find it on Hulu's YouTube channel.

So - Reputation (Taylor's Version) for 2025? We've got everything crossed...

The ongoing legal battle between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni has escalated in recent weeks. The actors are set to go to trial following Lively's lawsuit against her It Ends With Us co-star and director, which she filed in December 2024. In it, she accused Baldoni, 41, of sexual harassment and allegedly co-ordinating a smear campaign against her. Baldoni has denied all claims against him, and swiftly filed his own $400 million lawsuit against Lively, her husband Ryan Reynolds, and the actress's publicist, Leslie Sloane - suing the trio for defamation.

While Blake's lawyers have confirmed that she will take the stand during the trial, which is currently set for March 2026, Taylor Swift has now been implicated in the legal battle. The singer was subpoenaed by Baldoni's team earlier this month, with the Jane the Virgin actor claiming that Taylor was involved in Blake's alleged attempts to claim control over creative decisions for the film. However, Taylor has denied any involvement and is reportedly fighting the subpoena, with her legal team claiming it 'is designed to use Taylor Swift’s name to draw public interest by creating tabloid clickbait instead of focusing on the facts of the case.'

Although Blake's team requested to overturn Taylor's subpoena, on Wednesday Justin's legal team filed a letter to the judge stating they believed it was a necessary move. The letter claims that Blake had 'coerced' Taylor to publicly take her side in the ongoing dispute and delete their private text messages, alleging that Blake demanded Taylor "release a statement of support for Ms. Lively, intimating that, if Ms. Swift refused to do so, private text messages of a personal nature in Ms. Lively's possession would be released."

However, in a statement to People, Blake's attorney Mike Gottlieb denied the accusations, stating: "This is categorically false. We unequivocally deny all of these so-called allegations, which are cowardly sourced to supposed anonymous sources, and completely untethered from reality."

He continued: "This is what we have come to expect from the Wayfarer parties’ lawyers, who appear to love nothing more than shooting first, without any evidence, and with no care for the people they are harming in the process. We will imminently file motions with the court to hold these attorneys accountable for their misconduct here."

Taylor Swift does not want to testify amid Justin Baldoni's legal battle against Blake Lively. Earlier this month, Taylor was subpoenaed in the case - meaning she is being asked to testify in the upcoming trial - but the popstar and her team are fighting back against the injunction.

Blake and Justin are locked in a fierce legal battle over events that transpired during filming of their 2024 movie It Ends With Us. Rumours of a feud first began circulating during their press tour for the film, when Blake and Justin — who starred alongside one another in the film — didn't do any press interviews together. At the premiere, Justin (who also directed the film) did not pose with any other cast members.

Then in December 2024, Blake officially filed a lawsuit against her co-star where she accused him of sexual harassment as well as orchestrating a smear campaign against her. Justin has denied all allegations. In response to the claims against him, he swiftly proceeded to launch his own lawsuit against Blake (which also included her husband, Ryan Reynolds) for defamation.

As for Taylor Swift, she has been named as part of Justin lawsuit. The Jane the Virgin actor claims that Taylor was involved in Blake's alleged attempts to claim control over creative decisions for It Ends With Us. However, Taylor's team has already denied her involvement in the drama.

A rep for the singer called the subpoena an attempt to dredge up 'tabloid clickbait.' The rep stated to People: "Taylor Swift never set foot on the set of this movie, she was not involved in any casting or creative decisions, she did not score the film, she never saw an edit or made any notes on the film, she did not even see It Ends With Us until weeks after its public release, and was traveling around the globe during 2023 and 2024 headlining the biggest tour in history."

They added: "The connection Taylor had to this film was permitting the use of one song, My Tears Ricochet. Given that her involvement was licensing a song for the film, which 19 other artists also did, this document subpoena is designed to use Taylor Swift’s name to draw public interest by creating tabloid clickbait instead of focusing on the facts of the case."

Venable, the law firm that has represented Taylor for many years, was subpoenaed in the case too, and more specifically the attorney Douglas Baldridge. In a recent development, Venable has asked the court to dismiss the subpoena in documents obtained by Billboard. The firm wrote: "Venable had nothing to do with the film at issue or any of the claims or defenses asserted in the underlying lawsuit. There is no reason for this subpoena other than to distract from the facts of the case and impose undue burden and expense on a non-party."

The ultra-famous power couple decided against attending fashion's biggest night this year.

Of course the popstar and the NFL pro were invited, but they both RSVPd "no" because of their super busy schedules, according to sources in the know who spoke to TMZ.

Meanwhile, a source who spoke to People in April may also have indirectly shed light on why exactly Taylor and Travis opted not to show up in New York City on Monday — depriving their most dedicated fans of a couple's red carpet debut.

"They have been traveling nonstop and very much enjoy it," the source said at the time. "They are making the most of their time off together. They are hanging out with friends, too. It's a special time for them."

They added: "They value the same things. Right now, the focus is very much on private time out of the spotlight."

Basically, if we extrapolate a bit, it sounds like the Met Gala just wasn't on the couple's list of priorities — which is totally understandable.

It's not a great shock that Taylor and Travis didn't go to the Vogue-hosted event. Travis has actually never been, despite being a major American athlete. Taylor meanwhile used to attend most years, but hasn't gone to the event since 2016. She attended in 2008, 2010, 2011, 2013, 2014, and 2016.

Selfishly, we're also pretty glad that they chose not to go to the Met Gala, so that we know for sure they'll avoid the so-called Met Gala curse.

The curse is a fan theory which posits that many, many couples who attend the Met Gala together end up breaking up within weeks afterwards. And if you look at the history, the theory really holds up... So Taylor and Travis' absence this year is just one less thing for us to worry about! We'll take it.

Taylor Swift once privately made a dig at Kanye West — and it's now out in the open thanks to one Ed Sheeran.

Ed is releasing a new song called "Old Phone" on 1 May, which was inspired by him having to open up an old phone of his from circa 2015 as part of a court case.

The popstar's genius promotion efforts include a brand new Instagram account called @teddysoldphone on which he's sharing all sorts of never-seen-before pics he had saved on said old phone.

Among all the many, many, many gems — like pics with members of One Direction and early notes app song lyrics — is one photo which has fans rolling on the floor laughing.

The photo in question is just of an innocent-looking jam jar, but the label reads: "Yo Ed- I'm really happy 4 you and I'm gonna let u finish but this is the BEST JAM OF ALL TIME. -T"

Fans were deeply shaken by this picture of a gift from Taylor to Ed. One wrote: "SHE THREW THE BEST SHADE"

Another said: "To be in Tay or Ed’s inner circle is goals because you get top tier comedy like this"

And a third added: "Taylor is sooo funny for this!!"

Taylor and Ed have been really close friends for years, and this only goes to prove it even more. (We don't know this for sure, but we doubt Ed would have posted the pic without asking Tay for permission first.)

In case you somehow didn't catch the reference here, the note on the jam jar was a riff on Kanye West famously interrupting Taylor on stage at the VMAs in 2009.

That year, the young singer was accepting an award for Best Female Video, but Kanye didn't agree with the result.

He leapt on stage, took the mic and said: "Yo Taylor, I'm really happy for you, Imma let you finish, but Beyoncé had one of the best videos of all time!"

The incident has gone down in pop culture history, and even started a years-long feud between Taylor and Kanye. But at least the "Fortnight" singer can laugh about it!

Where have Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce gone?!

We'd become kind of accustomed to photos of them at NFL games or out on a dinner date dropping on a weekly basis, but recently, the sightings have been few and far between.

Taylor and Travis's retreat from the public eye is no coincidence, according to a few sources in the know who spoke to Us Weekly.

It makes sense that they would take this specific time to rest and reset, since Taylor finally wrapped her Eras tour after close to two years this past December — and Travis is recovering from the disappointment of his Super Bowl loss on 9 February.

According to one source, the couple wanted a taste of "normal life" for a bit. To that end: "Taylor and Travis have been between Kansas, Nashville, Rhode Island and New York. Just doing nothing at all has been a dream of theirs for a while." Apparently, they're just spending quality time with their families, watching telly and exercising.

A second source reinforced these comments: "Taylor and Travis are doing great, and they’re still very much together and in love," the insider explained. "They’re just taking a break from the public eye."

And if you've wondered whether Taylor might be hiding a bit more than usual because her best friend Blake Lively is currently embroiled in a high-profile legal battle with Justin Baldoni, you are correct.

"All the stuff going on with Blake is another reason Taylor and Travis want to keep to themselves," the second source added. "The last thing Taylor wants is to be dragged into a controversy when she’s trying to destress."

Yet another source told the publication: "Obviously the [Eras Tour] threw them into the spotlight. [Now] they’re enjoying some R&R after working their butts off, making the most of their time off. They’re fully living their best lives."

While Taylor and Travis have managed to be very discreet in the past few weeks, we do know that they've enjoyed a couple of trips to the mountains recently — one to Park City, Utah, and one to Big Sky, Montana.

At the time, Taylor was seen looking confused when the stadium camera landed on her and singer Ice Spice, and some people in the crowd booed. Travis was said to have been 'heartbroken' over the crowd's reaction, but it was reportedly more to do with club rivalry; Taylor, who is from from Pennsylvania, supported the Eagles before meeting Travis.

Taylor was also recently embroiled in the Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni lawsuit. Blake didn't attend the Super Bowl with Taylor this year as she 'didn't want to overshadow' her friend's night, but it's unclear how involved Taylor will be in the ongoing legal battle between the two It Ends With Us stars.

Since the night of the Super Bowl, now over a month ago, Taylor has taken a step back from public outings. However, a source told Page Six that there's a very simple explanation for the noticeable drop in her appearances. The insider claimed to the publication that the singer is "a strong woman and she’s not hiding from anything."

They added: "Taylor is simply enjoying some alone time with Travis and being under the radar for a little bit."

The couple were spotted in Utah, with popular social media accounts confirming that they were spending time near Salt Lake City, but for now it seems that Taylor and Travis are enjoying a bit of well-deserved privacy.

The couple have been laying decidedly low since Travis's team, the Kansas City Chiefs, sadly lost the Super Bowl against the Philadelphia Eagles on 9 February.

But at last, Taylor and Travis have been spotted: the gossip account @deuxmoi has just shared a video of the two of them leaving a restaurant in Park City, Utah, last week.

In the short clip, Travis can be seen helping Taylor (who's wearing a grey coat) into the car, before climbing in after her.

Park City is an upscale mountain destination, and it's likely that the lovebirds were on a skiing holiday there.

It's well known that Travis and his older brother Jason love to ski, as the two have previously spoken about one particularly unfortunate incident on their podcast, New Heights.

A while back, they told the story of poor Kylie Kelce (Jason's wife) and her first time skiing, when she was forced to go down a really steep slope and it took her 45 minutes to do so — during which time Travis and the others had had time to drink two beers at a mountain bar.

For context, Jason explained: "We had been skiing growing up. Not a lot, but because we ice skated, we kind of knew how to navigate."

We don't know for sure whether Travis — or Taylor — were skiing on this latest trip, but it's definitely not a stretch to assume they were.

The Super Bowl was a downbeat day for the couple, given Travis' defeat. In contrast, we all remember last year's big game, when the Chiefs triumphed over the 49ers and Taylor ran to congratulate her boyfriend with an abundance of PDA.

Still, we're sure they're not letting one big loss bring them down — there's always next year, since Travis, 35, has confirmed he's not retiring yet. Woop!

Travis Kelce is super protective of his girlfriend Taylor Swift, so seeing her get booed at his big football game this past weekend hit him hard, apparently.

As you're likely aware, Taylor was caught on camera on Sunday during the Super Bowl as a crowd full of Philadelphia Eagles fans booed her. Taylor looked perplexed by the reaction, and turned to her friend Ice Spice to ask her: "What's going on?"

Meanwhile, Taylor's boyfriend Travis — who plays for the Kansas City Chiefs — watched as this all unfolded, unable to do anything about it.

"Travis was aware of Taylor getting booed and he felt helpless. Seeing the look on her face got to him," a source told the Daily Mail after the fact.

"He always protects her and it broke his heart. He was already having a tough night and the fact that the stadium was predominantly Eagles fans didn't help. Travis knows that this hurt her and anyone can see this.

"It’s clear to many that the Eagles fans feel she is a traitor of sorts — being from Pennsylvania and even wearing Eagles gear prior to dating him."

The booing seemed like a case of sports rivalry gone too far rather than a case of people having a personal issue with Taylor Swift, but fans were quick to jump to her defence online anyway.

The additional context here is that Taylor now loudly supports the Chiefs (obviously) but to the extent she was an American football fan before (which is to say, not really), she would have been considered to be an Eagles fan.

She has been spotted wearing Eagles gear in the past, and her dad Scott Swift is famously an Eagles fan, but even he has been known to wear Chiefs accessories since his daughter started dating Travis.

Plus, if Jason Kelce — who literally played for the Eagles himself — can don Chiefs gear to support his younger brother, then how about we cut Taylor some slack, eh?

However, another insider suggested that Blake's decision to miss the high-profile game was to ensure that she didn't 'overshadow' Taylor and Travis' 'big night'. In January, Taylor's name was suddenly brought into Blake and Justin's lawsuits, following the release of text messagesfrom the actress. Justin also appears to refer to Taylor as Blake's 'megacelebrity friend' and one of her 'most trusted partners'.

Another insider told the publication: "Even if Taylor did invite Blake, Blake would not come. She would never want to make Taylor's big night – where she is going to see the love of her life play in another Super Bowl – about her. Blake would not want to overshadow Taylor ever."

The source went on: "She is staying close to home because she doesn't want to deal with the added stress. She is focused on her family and her kids right now. She knows she cannot stay in hiding forever."

It's undeniable that Taylor Swift has been working hard over the last two years. The Eras Tour, which first kicked off in March 2023, spanned 22 months, 5 continents, 51 cities and pulled in a staggering $2 billion in ticket sales. And not only did Taylor manage to captivate audiences for three full hours every night that she performed - she also made sure that her shows were exciting, despite clips going viral on social media. Taylor released an album halfway through the tour and added seven songs to her set list, she included a surprise Travis Kelce cameo during one of her London shows, and even added extra dates as the tour was in full swing.

But while The Eras Tour officially wrapped up in Vancouver on 8th December 2024, it seems that there may be one more gig in the works. According to Chinese media, the popstar has been holding 'preliminary talks' with authorities in Shanghai to discuss the possibility of hosting a show there this year. But we are optimistic that they may be hope this year."

Although we don't have further details on what exactly the Swift-Kelce Christmas celebrations will entail, it seems the guest list will be similar to the Thanksgiving one. It's likely Jason Kelce will come with his wife Kylie and their children Wyatt, Elliotte and Bennett, and that Trav's parents Donna and Ed Kelce will have been invited too. On the Swift side, the usual suspects are mum Andrea, dad Scott, and brother Austin.

While the likes of George Clooney, John Legend, Jamie Lee Curtis and Oprah Winfrey are just some of the Hollywood heavyweights backing Kamala Harris and the Democratic Party, others have pledged their vote to Republican Party nominee Donald Trump, including Amber Rose, Kid Rock and Hulk Hogan.

Now, Taylor Swift is the latest celebrity to share who she'll be voting for in the US elections. On Tuesday night, Kamala Harris and Donald Trump went head-to-head for a tense 90 minutes as part of the their first presidential debate. Shortly after it aired, Taylor took to social media to make her Presidential endorsement and confirmed that she's supporting Kamala Harris and the Democratic Party. She shared her fears over the spread of 'misinformation', explaining that she felt compelled to 'be very transparent about my actual plans for this election' following an AI image that recently went viral and appeared to show her supporting Donald Trump.

In the same post, Taylor also praised the Democratic Party's Vice Presidential nominee, Tim Waltz, for his commitment to 'LGBTQ+ rights, IVF, and a woman’s right to her own body for decades'.

In her post on Instagram, Taylor wrote: "Like many of you, I watched the debate tonight. If you haven’t already, now is a great time to do your research on the issues at hand and the stances these candidates take on the topics that matter to you the most. As a voter, I make sure to watch and read everything I can about their proposed policies and plans for this country.

"Recently I was made aware that AI of ‘me’ falsely endorsing Donald Trump’s presidential run was posted to his site. It really conjured up my fears around AI, and the dangers of spreading misinformation. It brought me to the conclusion that I need to be very transparent about my actual plans for this election as a voter. The simplest way to combat misinformation is with the truth."

Taylor continued: "I will be casting my vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 Presidential Election. I’m voting for @kamalaharris because she fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them. I think she is a steady-handed, gifted leader and I believe we can accomplish so much more in this country if we are led by calm and not chaos. I was so heartened and impressed by her selection of running mate @timwalz, who has been standing up for LGBTQ+ rights, IVF, and a woman’s right to her own body for decades.

"I’ve done my research, and I’ve made my choice. Your research is all yours to do, and the choice is yours to make. I also want to say, especially to first time voters: Remember that in order to vote, you have to be registered! I also find it’s much easier to vote early. In her sign-off, she nodded to Republican vice-presidential nominee JD Vance's recent comments about women who don't have children, writing: "With love and hope,Taylor Swift - Childless Cat Lady."

Taylor has been notoriously private about her politics in the past, but in her 2020 Netflix documentary Miss Americana viewers saw her discussing the impact of sharing her opinions publicly. She made her first political endorsement for Phil Bredesen and Jim Cooper in the 2018 midterms, and later backed Joe Biden in the 2020 US Elections.

Fans took to social media to claim that the pair may have secretly married, with one person writing: "I’m sorry but these two are married. They’ll never announce it and they totally don’t have to. She’ll tell us in TS12 probably but this is some married people shit."

Another person added: "Taylor and Travis are probably already married and we just have no idea."

However not everyone is convinced that Taylor and Travis are married, with one person arguing: "There is no evidence to suggest that Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift are married. A series of images were shared on Reddit allegedly showing paperwork from Travis' PR agency Full Scope, claiming that the couple would announce their split on 28th September and providing outlines for break-up statements, dealing with the 'media frenzy' and the aftermath.

Since the images were shared, a spokesperson for Full Scope has confirmed to Daily Mail that the documents in the photos are 'entirely false and fabricated and were not created, issued or authorised by this agency.' According to a representative, Travis' team have since called in lawyers to deal with the situation, saying: "We have engaged our legal team to initiate proceedings against the individuals or entities responsible for the unlawful and injurious forgery of documents."

Publicists Jack Ketosyan and Pia Malihi launched Full Scope in 2022, a Public Relations agency representing celebrities such as Tyga, Kristin Cavallari, Nicky Hilton and Joss Stone. Since the fake documents went viral, a podcast interview with Jack Ketosyan confirming how PR relationships work has since piqued interest.

Back in 2019, Jack appeared on Australian podcast The Quicky and stated that the 'main clue' that a celebrity couple is in a 'showmance' is if one high-profile individual is spotted on dates with someone less famous. He added that these fake romances are usually constructed as a distraction, or to build publicity around an upcoming project, claiming: "It's to be able to sell the hype of it – whether a concert, album… or getting people to go to see the movie, it's all about the hype at the moment."

Taylor Swift has not yet commented publicly.

Following an article in The Sun claiming that new trademarks had been filed, a number of media outlets reported that singer was set to publish something she wrote when she just was a teenager, with suggestions that she was planning her literary world breakthrough once the Eras Tour wraps in December.

The initial rumours about Taylor's debut novel claimed that the book would be titled A Girl Called Girl and was written when she was just 14 years old. Apparently, it was set to tell the story of a woman who always hoped for a son but instead had a daughter, and Taylor's parents allegedly kept the manuscript safe for the last two decades.

In 2015, Taylor trademarked the rights to the name, as well as trademarks which cover merchandise and any additional related audio content. But despite the online furore over this upcoming book, it has since been confirmed that she is not planning on releasing said book. According to Elle UK and US Weekly, the rumours are - sadly - just that. Rumours.

Back in 2012, Taylor told fans that she had penned a novel when she had 'nothing to do', just before her music career exploded and catapulted her to fame. During her Speak Now tour twelve years ago, she told the audience: "All my friends were back in Pennsylvania, so I had nothing to do. I had this epiphany; I’m going to be a novelist and I’m going to write novels. That’s going to be my career path."

Taylor has not directly commented on the speculation, but for now it seems that initial reports may not have been as accurate as many fans hoped.
