The Harry Styles and Taylor Russell dating rumours ramped up last summer when the pair were spotted spending time together in London and Vienna. By October, things were reportedly getting 'very serious' between the couple, and by the end of 2023 Harry and Taylor were said to be living together while the Canadian actor was in the UK.

However, this weekend the news broke that Harry and Taylor have reportedly gone their separate ways after 14 months together. The former couple had last been spotted together in April as they spent time in Tokyo, but their trip to Japan was allegedly a 'make or break getaway' and the pair have decided to end their relationship.

According to one source, Harry and Taylor were going through a challenging period in their relationship and ultimately decided to call it quits. The insider told The Sun: "Harry and Taylor have ended their relationship. They went through a rough patch after their trip to Japan and are taking some time apart. He's been in America and she's been in London. They made a lovely couple and it was obvious Taylor made Harry happy. Things have become strained recently though and they’ve taken some time out."

The news comes just months after the MailOnline reported that Harry was ready to settle down and start a family with Taylor, as a source had claimed in March: "Harry feels as if he has lived ten lifetimes already, but one thing is certain – his 30s will be nothing like his 20s. He has experienced all the fame anyone could ever want. He is now ready for the next chapter. He is in love with Taylor. He wants a family with her and this is the next phase of his life."

At the Met Gala earlier this month, the Bones and All star attended the event alone while Harry stayed in London. The pair have not commented publicly on the reports that they have broken up, but considering that they kept their relationship out of the spotlight it's highly unlikely that they will.

Things were reportedly getting serious between Harry and Taylor fairly quickly, and by November they were 'living together' in the UK with a source claiming they were keeping 'a low profile, popping out for coffees and snacks, and cycling around London like tourists'.

And now, the internet has been set alight by rumours that Harry and Taylor are engaged. This weekend, Taylor attended the BAFTAs in London alongside the likes of Margot Robbie and Emma Stone, wearing a backless white Loewe dress with cut out hips and a host of feathers. But there's one photo of her on the red carpet had fans convinced she was wearing an engagement ring.

As she arrived at the Southbank Centre in the capital, she was photographed wearing a beautiful Tiffany & Co. diamond ring - reportedly worth around £59,000. Despite the fact that she was wearing the jewellery on her right hand (as opposed to on the traditional ring finger on her left hand) and had matching pieces - namely the Tiffany & Co. drop earrings and a dainty tennis bracelet - it hasn't stopped the speculation that Taylor and Harry could be engaged. 

So far, neither Harry nor Taylor have commented on the rumours, but they have both remained tight lipped about their relationship thus far. Could things be getting serious? We'll have to wait and see.

The couple were spotted on Boxing Day enjoying a cold-water dip in the River Thames in London, complete with woolly hats, as well as gloves and swimming socks to protect their extremities. 

The picture, which was captured by a fan shows Harry and Taylor in an idyllic spot on the river, emerging from the icy water on a river-side jetty with swans and ducks swimming in the background. 

Harry's no stranger to active pursuits as a keen bouldering fan and has spoken out before about the benefits of cold-water therapy, during both wild swims and through using an ice bath. Back in 2022, Harry posted an image of himself submerged in an ice bath as part of his post-show recovery routine.

In an interview with Better Homes & Gardens, the singer said he swam outdoors daily. “I feel like people who have discovered cold water swimming are just so happy for you that you’ve also found it. That’s the thing with a swim—it’s the one thing you never regret.”

It's common practice for people to enjoy a festive cold-water dip on Boxing Day to blow away the cobwebs after an indulgent Christmas Day. However, as the water is extremely cold this time of year, it's essential to have the right cold-water swimming kit, including neoprene gloves and swim socks. It's good to see Harry setting a good example!

While undoubtedly a potentially very exciting power couple in the entertainment world, we're yet to see an official announcement from the pair on their relationship, though it has been said that Harry is "head over heels" for Taylor and more recently there have been whispers that the couple have taken a new step in their relationship. 

A source confirmed to The Sun that Taylor has been staying with Harry at his hotel while his house renovations are underway and the pair have been "cycling around London like tourists" and "popping out for coffees and snacks". Sounds like the absolute dream TBF.

While we're yet to see any official snaps of the loved-up duo, it sounds like it's only a matter of time...

The source also explained how the couple has been to a 'number of events in London this week' claiming that Harry 'accompanied Taylor to an after party last weekend.' Taylor is currently starring in The Effect at The National Theatre, a play by Lucy Prebble about two young volunteers in a clinical drug trial finding romance. 

A source told Page Six that during the play's after party - which the musician attended with pal James Cordon - 'Harry stayed by Taylor’s side the whole time.'

They continued: "He introduced her to James and was whispering to her and laughing and smiling. They are clearly trying to keep their romance under the radar and avoid being photographed together."

Harry's love life always hits headlines, but so far it would appear this blossoming relationship has been kept pretty low-key. 

Following his high-profile split from Olivia Wilde late last year, Harry was linked to Emily Ratajkowski when the pair were spotted kissing in Toyko back in March. But their apparent romance was only fleeting, as it looks like Taylor came on the scene soon after.

Taylor was spotted later in the summer in the VIP section of Harry's gig in Vienna during his Love On Tour shows, adding fuel to the fire that the pair are romantically linked.

Neither Harry nor Taylor has actually confirmed that they're dating, so as promising as it sounds, right now it's just speculation.

Afterwards, the pair were seen hanging out in the city together. 

Fast forward to last week and photographs emerged of Harry and Taylor hugging after she performed in a play in London. Sources told Page Six that there were seen looking rather cosy at the after-party, and then left together. 

The insider said: "It looked like they were holding hands.

"Harry stayed by Taylor’s side the whole time. He introduced her to James [Corden] and was whispering to her and laughing and smiling."

They added that Harry was seen leaving via a side door while carrying her bags, saying: "They are clearly trying to keep their romance under the radar and avoid being photographed together."

Just a few days later, they were seen spending time together in the capital once again.

Are they? Aren't they?
