Blake Lively continues to make headlines, with this month seeing the Gossip Girl star reach a settlement with her It Ends With Us director Justin Baldoni, following a lengthy legal battle.

Lively, 38, accused her director and co-star, 42, of sexual harassment on set, and for allegedly coordinating a smear campaign against her, filing a legal complaint in December 2024. Baldoni has denied the allegations.

A trial for Lively v Wayfarer Studios was officially set for 18 May 2026, however following a year and a half of public legal drama, a settlement was reached last week.

Lively herself has not spoken publicly since the news of the legal settlement. However, her husband of 14 years Ryan Reynolds took to Instagram this weekend to post a rare tribute to her.

"I appreciate this mother beyond measure," read the sweet message, posted to his Instagram Stories on Sunday to mark US Mother's Day.

"She is kind. She is fearless," his post continued, alongside two photographs of the A-list couple. "She's the absolute love of my life - and to our four little kids, she's the life of their love."

Lively and Reynolds share four children together - James, 11, Inez, 9, Betty, 6, and Olin, 3.

This comes after another public statement from Reynolds just last month, with the Deadpool actor speaking out to praise his wife's "integrity" throughout the legal battle.

"Really, without getting into too much, I have never in my life been more proud of my wife," Reynolds explained to host Willie Geist during a recent interview on Today's Sunday Sitdown Live series. "People have no idea what is really going on.

"I’ve never been more proud of someone in my life, with that level of integrity that they bring with them in everything they do."

Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni's legal battle remains ongoing, following the release of their 2024 box office hit, It Ends With Us.

Lively, 38, made a legal complaint against Baldoni, 42, in December 2024, accusing her director and co-star of sexual harassment on set, and for allegedly coordinating a smear campaign against her.

Baldoni has denied the allegations, taking legal action against Lively, but his $400 million countersuit has since been dismissed.

A trial for Lively v Wayfarer Studios has now been set for May 2026, with both Lively and Baldoni expected to take to the stand.

However, in one last opportunity to avoid a trial, both parties attempted to resolve the situation at a court-ordered settlement conference this week.

The unsuccessful settlement hearing, taking place in Manhattan, was overseen by Judge Sarah L Cave, reportedly involving six hours of negotiations between the two parties, with both Lively and Baldoni in attendance.

However, while Baldoni arrived at the New York City courthouse accompanied by his wife Emily, Lively attended solo, with her husband Ryan Reynolds being noticeably absent.

This has caused a major conversation online, with fans and followers surprised that the 49-year-old actor was not in attendance, particularly given his previous involvement, with Reynolds reported to have confronted Baldoni in the past.

"I do think it's really weird and shows a weakness that Ryan Reynolds was nowhere to be seen," journalist Kjersti Flaa noted on her podcast.

"He has come out publicly saying how important it is to support his wife, that he wasn't angry enough in all those text messages that he sent to Sony and WME, pushing people to support Blake. And now when it really matters, he's not there."

However, according to one lawyer, Reynolds' involvement is likely the reason for his absence, speculating that Lively's legal team may have encouraged him not to attend.

"Ryan Reynolds was not with Blake Lively at the settlement yesterday because he listened to her lawyers who told him to stay ... away," Ivy League lawyer Theresa Concepcion reported in a TikTok video to her 21.5k followers.

Concepcion went on to allege that Reynolds had damaged Lively's case against Baldoni, reporting: "there were so many things that Ryan Reynolds did to Justin Baldoni himself that justify Justin reaching out to his PR team, that there's no legal way a jury is going to be able to find retaliation."

She continued: "Since he ruined her case and since the public has had this huge backlash, Blake's lawyers know that it's really unlikely that Ryan Reynolds' presence would help in the court of public opinion.

"If Ryan had shown up yesterday, the image might have been 'Ryan is showing up to defend his wife' and 'he should have been angrier.' And 'is he going to be bullying Justin Baldoni during the settlement negotiations?' So if I was Blake's lawyers, I would have said Ryan needs to [stay at] home. And he did."

It has also been speculated that Reynolds may have chosen not to attend the settlement hearing in order to avoid becoming a distraction, and to keep the focus on the case. This was reportedly the reason for Reynolds' absence from Lively's deposition last year, with Yahoo reporting that Lively was advised to face the proceeding alone.

The trial for Lively v Wayfarer Studios is officially set for May 2026.

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds just made a bit of a rare joint public appearance amid their legal battle with Justin Baldoni.

The celebrity couple showed up for the premiere of Blake's new movie, Another Simple Favor, in New York City on 27 April. The Gossip Girl star looked especially radiant, flashing giant grins at the cameras.

On the red carpet, she stunned in a Disney princess-worthy dress in pastel, silvery mint by Tamara Ralph — one of her go-to designers — worn with large drop earrings and a statement bracelet.

Ryan, as for him, looked sleek in a textured grey suit and a pair of movie-star sunglasses.

The couple later shone at the after-party, with Blake changing into an all-yellow outfit, featuring a trendy butter yellow t-shirt paired with a silk, figure-hugging silk yellow skirt and yellow belt, all by Sergio Hudson. She also signalled her readiness to party with a super fun martini glass-shaped clutch bag by Judith Leiber, and a sunny smile.

Blake has been busy promoting Another Simple Favor — which also stars Anna Kendrick and Henry Golding — for weeks now.

Because of this, the actress has made a bunch of public appearances of late, but has tended to leave her husband at home for these occasions.

While it's not at all unusual for Blake to step out alone, it's possible that she's been doing so a bit more than usual as hers and Ryan's legal battle against her It Ends With Us director and costar Justin Baldoni rages on.

There were feud rumours for months last year before the news broke in December that Blake had sued Justin for alleged sexual harassment and orchestrating a smear campaign against her.

Justin denied all the allegations, and countersued Blake as well as Ryan. The litigation is ongoing, and isn't getting any less contentious.

On a lighter note, Another Simple Favor will be available to stream on Prime Video starting 1 May. It's the sequel to the 2018 film A Simple Favor.

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds were not on the red carpet at Sunday's Oscars, nor did they attend the Vanity Fair after-party.

Their absence isn't really surprising at all — and, no, it probably wasn't because they're laying low amid Blake's legal battle with Justin Baldoni.

In fact, Blake and Ryan have never actually attended the Oscars as a couple. Not only that, but they've only ever attended the Academy Awards once each — Blake in 2009 and Ryan in 2010. The two met that year, and were together by 2011, per People.

Additionally, neither Blake's film It Ends With Us nor Ryan's film Deadpool & Wolverine was nominated. The former was nominated for four lesser known awards this season, while the latter received a commendable 53 nominations and 15 wins (so far), including at the Critics Choice Awards, the Grammys, the Golden Globes, and the Screen Actors Guild Awards.

ELLE also notes that Blake and Ryan weren't asked to present awards at the Oscars this year, which could have been another reason for them to attend.

Though it's probably not the primary reason why they skipped the event, Blake's legal situation concerning her It Ends With Us director and costar was probably part of the decision.

She and her husband have avoided the spotlight since Blake first filed a legal complaint against Justin in December, as reported by People. However, they did make a splashy appearance at the SNL50 celebration on 16 February.

During the show, Amy Poehler and Tina Fey asked Ryan "how's it going?" and he said: "Great!" before adding: "Why, what have you heard?"

In the background, Blake, who was originally smiling, looked up at her husband with surprise and didn't seem too pleased with the quip.

The battle between Blake and Justin has been long and winding so far, with several concurring lawsuits, and no end in sight.

This weekend sees the 82nd Golden Globes, with the annual award ceremony returning to Beverly Hills to celebrate the past year in film and television. And with A-list nominees from Selena Gomez and Angelina Jolie, to Timothée Chalamet and Pamela Anderson, the evening is set to be star-studded.

Also featured on the list of A-list nominees is actor Ryan Reynolds, with his 2024 Marvel film, Deadpool & Wolverine, nominated for Cinematic and Box Office Achievement.

However, despite being nominated, it has been reported that Reynolds and wife Blake Lively will not be in attendance at Monday’s event. Neither will be Reynolds’ Deadpool & Wolverine co-star Hugh Jackman, according to a report via Deadline.

The news of the trio’s absence comes amid the It Ends With Us legal storm, with Blake Lively suing director and co-star Justin Baldoni for sexual harassment and for coordinating a smear campaign against her. And as Baldoni filed a lawsuit of his own this week, all parties look set for a challenging 2025.

Despite the timing, sources have reported that the A-list couple’s absence isn’t actually due to the scandal, with Reynolds and Lively choosing not to attend well in advance.

And it’s not just the couple who will not feature in the ceremony. Neither will mention of the ongoing It Ends With Us situation, with host Nikki Glaser confirming that she will be avoiding the subject on stage.

“I think the Blake Lively-Justin Baldoni thing is such a hot-button thing right now that even a mere mention of it will seem like I could be on the wrong side of things, even though I would never be,” Glaser explained to Yahoo Entertainment. “I also don’t want to give his name any — I’m mad I even know his name, to be honest with you, so I don’t need to say it anymore.”

The 82nd Golden Globes are set to take place on Monday 6 January.

Ryan Reynolds may have slightly put his foot in it in a recent interview, clearly not having paid enough attention to a recent incident involving David and Victoria Beckham. Let us explain.

In a new interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the Deadpool actor was asked about how he and his equally famous wife Blake Lively manage to keep their children out of the public eye.

"We try to give them as normal a life as possible," he explained. "I try not to impose upon them the difference in their childhood to my childhood or my wife’s childhood. We both grew up very working class, and I remember when they were very young, I used to say or think, like, 'Oh God, I would never have had a gift like this when I was a kid,' or, 'I never would’ve had this luxury of getting takeout,' or whatever. Then I realised that that’s not really their bag of rocks to carry."

Ryan and Blake are proud parents to daughters James, 10, Inez, 8, and Betty, 5, and son Olin, 1. But the part of this that's being slightly picked apart is Ryan's claim that both he and his wife "grew up very working class." As reported by The Cut, Ryan did indeed have quite a modest upbringing, but Blake? Not so much.

The Gossip Girl star's dad Ernie was an actor, producer and director, and even starred as Blake's dad in the 2005 film The Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants. As for Blake's mum Elaine, she worked as an actress and talent manager. If this story sounds eerily familiar, it's because almost the exact same blunder happened with the Beckhams last year.

In the Netflix docu-series Beckham, Victoria said on camera that both she and David grew up working class, with the former footballer poking his head in and telling his wife "be honest" several times before she eventually admitted that her dad drove a Rolls-Royce when she was little.

The Colleen Hoover adaptation was widely criticised for the lack of conversation around domestic abuse. And with reports of a rumoured rift over creative direction between producer Lively and director Justin Baldoni, Lively received a wave of negative attention.

However, it was her involvement on husband Ryan Reynolds' 2024 blockbuster, Deadpool & Wolverine, that made headlines this week.

The 37-year-old made a cameo in the popular Marvel film, playing a voice role as 'Lady Deadpool', but according to creators, she had an even bigger impact behind the cameras.

In fact, in a recent interview, Deadpool & Wolverine director Shawn Levy revealed that Lively influenced the film's ending, with her feedback prompting them to reshoot.

The final cut sees Paradox [Matthew MacFadyen] deliver an evil speech, after Deadpool and Wolverine destroy the time ripper, with it left unknown whether the duo has survived. But according to Levy, this ambiguity was all down to a note from Lively, with the original shoot leaving no room for suspense.

"Credit where credit is due. It used to be that there was no suspense, that the power room blew up, and our heroes had survived," Levy explained in an interview with Games Radar. "It was Blake Lively who said to us, 'You know, I’ve been with you this whole movie. I want to sit in the fear that they’re lost. Let me be in that place of suspense so the triumph of their survival is more emotional and visceral.'

"It really opened up a new way of thinking about this part of the movie and it’s why we did this reshoot," he continued. "And, here, the payoff is so much more satisfying."

Lively and Reynolds have both spoken in the past about working on each other's projects, with Reynolds known to have helped write some scenes in It Ends With Us.

"We help each other," Lively explained to E! News earlier this year. "He works on everything I do. I work on everything he does. So his wins, his celebrations are mine, and mine are his."

However, it was Swift's friendship with Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds that made the most headlines this week, with the singer known to be a very close friend of the family.

In fact, earlier this year, when celebrating Reynolds' new film, Deadpool & Wolverine, Swift appeared to reveal that she was godmother to Lively and Reynolds' three daughters - James, 9, Inez, 7, and Betty, 4.

"Over the past few years I have watched one of my best friends on this planet pour every bit of his heart, soul, sweat, time, energy, jokes, pain, joy, rebellion, darkness, and magic into this film," read Swift's viral message. "He's created the best work of his life, and this film feels like an actual joy portal, a wild escape from reality, and an abs sandwich. I don't know how he did it."

Then the 34-year-old quipped: "But that's just Hugh [Jackson] for you!", going on to jokily refer to Reynolds as her "godkids' sperm donor".

Swift's statement unsurprisingly went viral, with fans eager to get to the bottom of whether Swift is actually godmother to the Lively-Reynolds brood.

Thankfully, Reynolds himself weighed in on the discussion this week, confirming the theory that Swift is in fact godmother to their three daughters, with Deadpool & Wolverine director Shawn Levy reportedly the godfather of their son, Olin.

"She is the godparent to my daughters," Reynolds confirmed in a recent interview with Deadline, going on to comment on her touching message.

"That was very sweet," Reynolds reflected. "Not just sweet. You can probably quantify a box office based on Taylor just doing something like that."

Well, this is lovely.

When talking about Bell's late son Jake, who John founded Walking 4 Hope in the memory of, Reynolds stated: "I want to share with you that I too have a son, and if I love him one tenth as much as you love Jake, I feel like I’ve done a pretty damn good job."

This news comes amid another recent revelation from close friend of the Lively-Reynolds household, Taylor Swift, who seemingly revealed that she was godmother to the children, in a sweet tribute to Reynolds and his new film.

Ryan Reynolds doesn't just troll his wife online — he also trolls himself.

The Canadian actor has recently weighed in on why his name has never been tossed around for the next James Bond, after his Deadpool & Wolverine costar Hugh Jackman posted a photo of the two of them plus director Shawn Levy enjoying a martini after a day of promoting their film.

"Nothing. And I mean nothing … beats the end of a long promo day martini with best friends," Hugh commented. "Especially when it’s made by the man, the myth, the legend Allesandro!!!"

But while Hugh was revelling in a sweet moment with his mates, Ryan was dwelling on something else: his very... unique martini-drinking position. In the photo, the Free Guy actor is leaning forward into his martini glass, his back hunched.

"This is why none of us will ever be James Bond," he commented. "Who drinks a martini this way?!? I look like a cocker-spaniel after a long walk. Are my arms not working? Why can’t the drink come to me?"

All very good, and funny, questions.

Ryan's wife Blake Lively also had some thoughts, commenting: "And don’t add f***ing ice. That sh*t ruins everything-E.N." This is a quote from her character Emily Nelson in the 2018 film A Simple Favor.

Hugh and Ryan have clearly become great pals since they started working on the satirical superhero film together. Exhibit A: in a video for Variety, Ryan called Hugh a "sl*t" because he's hosted the Tony Awards four times.

Deadpool & Wolverine is the latest film in both superheroes' universe, and comes out on 25 July.

As with other Deadpool instalments, you can expect this one to have lots of NSFW jokes and spicy language. Despite this, Ryan recently admitted that he watched the film with his 9-year-old daughter James, in an interview with the New York Times.

"Well, I’m not saying other people should do this, but my 9-year-old watched the movie with me and my mom, who’s in her late 70s, and it was just one of the best moments of this whole experience for me," he told the newspaper. "Both of them were laughing their guts out, were feeling the emotion where I most desperately hoped people would be."

To say that Taylor Swift has had an incredibly busy year is something of an understatement. As well as performing sold-out shows across the world as part of her ongoing Eras Tour, she has released a new album, secured herself a spot on the Forbes World's Billionaires List, overcome heartbreak and found love with NFL player Travis Kelce - all whilst being a 'hero' friend, according to Sophie Turner.

But the singer might be adding yet another string to her bow. This summer, Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman are uniting for the highly-anticipated Deadpool & Wolverine. Set to be released in the UK this July, the film has garnered a lot of attention (and excitement) from Marvel fans - but one persistent rumour is that Taylor has been cast to play mutant pop star, Dazzler. She was spotted in New York City with director Shawn Levy in October last year, and now her friend (and potential co-star?) Ryan has addressed the online chatter about her appearance in the film.

During an interview with Screen Rant, Ryan was asked about the possibility of Taylor joining the MCU and starring in the upcoming movie - and he had a very interesting response. Notably, he didn't directly confirm nor deny the rumours and instead offered a rather vague answer. He told the publication: "You know, movies like this... there's so much speculation about so many people that might end up in the film. I saw one that was convinced that Elvis is in the movie. Anything can happen, and that's sort of what I love about this universe. Surprises are the essence of Deadpool."

With the film set for release on 25th July, can we expect to see Taylor gracing the silver screen while she's wrapping up the European leg of The Eras Tour?

Taylor Swift has a very niche habit: revealing pals Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds' children's names in her music.

OK, so technically Ms. Swift has only done this once — but since Blake and Ryan have a new baby whose name and gender they are yet to share with the world, and since Taylor just released a new album, people are understandably wondering whether the popstar may have snuck a baby name reveal into The Tortured Poets Department.

During a recent appearance on the Today show, co-host Savannah Guthrie said to Ryan: "Taylor Swift keeps dropping [your children's names] into lyrics. Just tell us this: is the fourth child's name, the baby's name, anywhere on the new record?"

The Deadpool actor deadpanned: "We always wait for Taylor to tell us what the child's name is. And we'll say this — we're still waiting, so Taylor, let's maybe start, you know... She's a prolific writer, I mean, what are we doing here? And 'lazy' is not a word I'd attach to Taylor."

On her 2020 album Folklore, Taylor cleverly used the song "Betty" to reveal Blake and Ryan's third daughter's name, which they had yet to confirm publicly. (You guessed it, she's called Betty.)

Fans figured this out pretty easily, as the song's lyrics also included the names "James" and "Inez," which are the names of the famous couple's two eldest daughters.

The acting duo discreetly announced the birth of their fourth child in February, but like we said, we don't know the baby's gender or name yet.

The couple, who have been married for over eleven years and share four children together, are known for their sense of humour - whether it's hilarious birthday messages, unfollowing each other, or cropping one another out of their photos. 

Last night, Blake joined Taylor Swift and Ice Spice at the 2024 Super Bowl, with the three pictured laughing, hugging and enjoying drinks together in the VIP stands as they watched Taylor's boyfriend Travis Kelce in the NFL championship game. Ryan took the opportunity to troll Blake as she enjoyed the night out with her friends - and the clip he posted is now going viral. 

While the Gossip Girl actor was at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas with her pals, Ryan shared a photo of himself at home as the highly-anticipated trailer for the next instalment of the Deadpool franchise premiered during the Super Bowl halftime. As the clip for Deadpool & Wolverine launched, he uploaded a snap of himself next to a TV showing the trailer, writing: "Has everyone seen the #Deadpool trailer? Also has anyone seen my wife?"

His Instagram followers were quick to comment, with one writing: "Before I snitch where did she tell you she was going?"

Scarlett Johansson has made a rare comment about ex-husband Ryan Reynolds in a new interview. 

During a conversation on Gwyneth Paltrow's Goop podcast, the Black Widow star opened up about her previous marriages and spoke about her relationship with the Deadpool actor. 

The pair tied the knot in 2008 but announced that they were separating in 2010, releasing a joint statement which read: "After long and careful consideration on both our parts, we’ve decided to end our marriage.

"We entered our relationship with love and it’s with love and kindness we leave it. While privacy isn’t expected, it’s certainly appreciated."

When Gwyneth asked, "You’ve been married two times?" she replied: "Three times."

The Goop founder responded: "Oh that’s right, because I forgot that you were married to Ryan Reynolds! Goals."

Scarlett laughed, before adding: "We weren’t married very long, but we were when I first met you, for Iron Man or whatever."

When Gwyneth added that 'we love a good Ryan Reynolds in our house', Scarlett continued: "He’s a good guy."

Ryan went on to marry Blake Lively in 2012, and the couple share four children together - daughters James, 8, Inez, 6, and Betty, 3, with their fourth child (whose name has not yet been publicly shared) born earlier this year. 

Scarlett later married Romain Dauriac in 2014 and they welcomed their daughter Rose the same year. However, they separated in 2017 with Scarlett going on to marry Colin Jost in 2020. Their son Cosmo was born in 2021. 

Discussing her marriage to Jost, Scarlett shared: "I knew Colin for a long time, but only kind of through work. And when we first started seeing each other, I would never have probably been ready for a relationship like the one that I have with Colin at different times in my life. 

"Because I wasn’t comfortable with setting my own boundaries, and I didn’t know what I wanted or needed from somebody else."

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are one of Hollywood's most loved couples. They met on set while filming Green Lantern back in 2011, marrying in a low-key ceremony shortly afterwards.

The iconic duo now have four kids together and a bit of a reputation for playfully teasing one another in public. 

And this week, Lively appears to be taking things one step further, teasing a fan's partner in a now-viral video.

While at a Wrexham FC football game at the weekend supporting her other half (Reynolds co-owns the football team), Lively was asked by a fan to say hi to his girlfriend, Stephanie. 

He said: “Blake, please say hi to Stephanie! It’s my girlfriend.”

The Gossip Girl actress cheekily responded doling out some dating advice, saying: “Hi, Stephanie. You should leave him!" 

Prompting an uproar of laughter from the football fans nearby, the star instantly gasped at her own comment, putting her hand to her mouth. 

Speaking about the moment later on Twitter, the fan shared: "Steph's cried happiness and she’s absolutely over the moon.. Luckily she hasn’t broke up with me! Thanks again @blakelively @stephaniexcxc."

It's thought that the original post of the video has been taken down, but it had around 133.8k views before.

Reynolds bought the football club in November 2020 and, as you'd expect from the couple, there's been plenty of banter about the decision ever since.

Reynolds openly admitted that Lively wasn't best pleased when he bought the Welsh football club with fellow actor Rob McElhenney.

Plus, back in January, Lively shared lighthearted clips to her Instagram stories as Wrexham FC played Sheffield United. She shared: "I bought ESPN+ today. Just to watch my husband experience crippling anxiety live. Worth it."

It's not all jokes in the Lively-Reynolds household, though: when Reynolds won an Icon Award at the People's Choice Awards back in December 2022, he was quick to credit both his wife and children. "Thank you, Blake and my three daughters. It's going to be a fourth child very soon. Blake and my girls, you are quite literally my heart, hope and happiness."

While we are used to seeing them hilariously troll one another on social media, the Gossip Girl alumni bucked the trend to gush about her partner at the 36th American Cinematheque Awards this week. 

In her speech at the awards ceremony, which was held at The Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles, Blake praised Ryan's "heart, his philanthropy, his humour, his integrity, his unmatched work ethic", according to E!.

The 35-year-old went on: "So many of those stunning qualities comes from his homeland, Canada.  And giving back to the country that gave him his life is critical to who he is as a person."

The real tear jerker of her speech came when Blake, who has daughters James, Inez, Betty and is expecting her fourth child with the 46-year-old actor, revealed Ryan is a homebody and always checks in on at home, and on his family no matter how busy his schedule is, which is an act he has always done. 

Blake shared: "It was essential to keeping him grounded, to keeping him sane, to keeping him, him. 

"And now I am his home and our girls are his home. And just like that 19 year old boy, he races home. Whether it's from across the globe or a meeting across the street, his is hardwired to get home. 

"If he came home from set not in his wardrobe, we would be very concerned. Soaked in mud, fake blood, real blood, prosthetic scars, superhero suits, tap shoes or clown makeup, daddy always comes home."

If your parents are celebrities, it's very likely that your family friends will be equally as well known. 

But it seems that Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively's three children had no idea that their 'aunt' Taylor Swift is one of the most famous people on the planet. 

Ryan revealed in a recent interview that his daughters, James, 8, Inez, 6 and Betty, 3 didn't know that Taylor - who is good friends with the couple - was actually a world famous popstar, instead thinking that singing was just a hobby.

During a chat on Sirius XM's The Jess Cagle Show, the actor said that his little ones didn't quite understand how well known Taylor is. 

He said: "I think what's most exciting for them is that for the longest time they just thought Taylor's just like an aunt, like a friend of Mommy and Daddy that's very, very close, almost family.

"And then they went to a concert one day and were like, 'Ohhhhh, this isn't a hobby!'"

The Deadpool star also revealed that he and Blake had planned a listening party with their daughters for Taylor's new album, Midnights.  

He continued: "We're headed straight to the porch where we're doing a full dance number set to Midnights, swear words included.

"My favourite thing is when a 3-year-old is just throwing down the F-bomb in a song and has no idea."

Ryan and Blake recently shared that they are expecting her fourth child, and while the actor has revealed that they won't find out the gender he admits he's hoping for another daughter.

He said: "I know girls, so I'm kind of hoping that!" adding that his siblings (he's the youngest of three brothers) "were just arsonists and firemen".

Blake Lively has spoken out against post-pregnancy body ideals, suggesting that there is too much pressure on women to lose weight quickly after giving birth.

Commenting that the media’s scrutiny of women’s bodies and the abstract ‘celebration’ that makes the headlines when a woman’s body has bounced back after pregnancy, Blake described the pressure as ‘unfair.’

‘You don’t have to have be Victoria’s Secret-ready right away,’ she said. ‘You gave birth to a human being!’

Blake made her comments during a slightly awkward video interview with Sunrise in Australia, where the presenter began by introducing her as someone who is ‘so well-known for being Mrs. Ryan Reynolds’ and commenting that he’d never seen someone ‘so exquisitely dressed at an interview.’ The actress, who is currently pregnant with her second child, could only laugh as she was wearing a denim jacket. *Puts head in hands*

After asking a few questions about Blake’s latest film, The Shallows (which was just released in Australia) the interviewer then began to ask how she got into shape for the role, suggesting that it’s great for an actress to take on an action-packed role after their pregnancy, as the tabloids will typically ask about she achieved her post-baby body.

And that’s when Blake responded. ‘It’s so unfair, it’s so celebrated,’ she said. ‘I think a woman’s body after having a baby is pretty amazing. You don’t have to have be Victoria’s Secret-ready right away. You’ve just done this incredible miracle that life has to offer. I would really like to see that celebrated.’

Blake Lively has announced that she is shutting her lifestyle website Preserve just over a year after its launch - which is sad news, of course, but in true Blake style, her parting press statement is kind of amazing.

The actress, who gave birth to daughter James in December and is married to Ryan Reynolds, acknowledges, as CEOs so rarely do, that she was responsible for the company’s failure to take off but says she also has some quite fabulous comeback plans in the pipeline.

‘We have an incredible team of people who do beautiful work, but we launched the site before it was ready, and it never caught up to its original mission: It’s not making a difference in people’s lives, whether superficially or in a meaningful way,’ she begins in the announcement, released to American Vogue.

‘And that’s the whole reason I started this company, not just to fluff myself, like, ‘I’m a celebrity! People will care what I have to say!’ It was so never meant to be that, and that kind of became the crutch because it was already up and already running, and it’s hard to build a brand when you’re running full steam ahead—how do you catch up?’

‘I know what it’ll look like, what I’m facing publicly, that people are just going to have a heyday with this,’ she says. ‘But it’s so much worse to continue to put something out there—to ask my team to put something out there—that isn’t the best we can do. I’m going to take this hit, and the only way I can prove all the negative reactions wrong is to come back with a plan that will rock people. And I have that plan. And I’m so excited about it, and that’s what gave me the courage to do this, to say, ‘You know what, I’m going to give myself one more shot at this, and I really have to do it as well as I can do it this time.’

And if the haters are gonna, well, hate hate hate? What’s Blake going to do about that?

It's been a busy first couple of months for baby Lively-Reynolds. The world hasn't even caught a glimpse of what is likely to be the most beautiful little girl ever and she's already making headlines.

First it was 'revealed' by a nurse at the hospital where Blake gave birth that the baby's name was Violet. Then new dad Ryan Reynolds squashed those rumours flat, by saying they definitely had NOT chosen that name. Plus, there's all of the really sweet things Ryan has been saying about becoming a dad that have kept their child firmly in everyone's minds.

And now the baby formally known as Violet is back in the limelight as a source has told E! News that the couple have actually chosen the name James for their first born.

Ryan has said previously that they had chosen a family name and as his father is called Jim, that would make total sense. Blake is also named after her grandmother's brother, so perhaps naming girls after boys is also a family tradition...

Ryan Reynolds has given the sweetest new dad TV interview ever, actually going so far as to say that he would use wife Blake Lively as a human shield to protect their newborn daughter.

'She’s a human Denny’s all day long … and it never ends for her. She’s the most beautiful Denny’s you've ever seen though, I guarantee it.'

Earlier in the day he appeared on the Kelly and Michael Show again sharing just how much he’s loving being a parent.

'If anything else woke up every 45 minutes during the night demanding to see my wife's breasts, you kill it,' he laughed. '[But with] a baby, you’re like, ‘Wahoo!' 'I’m happily not getting any sleep. It’s what you do - you’re up all night. What’s weird is you're happy about it in a strange way.'

Because, despite being a completely closed book when it comes to his private life, Ryan Reynolds has squashed rumours that he and Blake Lively named their new baby girl Violet in one comment.

Speaking to USA Today and disappointing fans everywhere, Ryan said, 'No that's not the name. I don't want to get into that but I don't know where that came from.'

Of course, Ryan didn't go as far to reveal the real name of his baby, but he did add, 'I don't sleep very much. It's great. It's wonderful. But my brain is elsewhere. I had to go to Sundance this last week. I was more excited to get a good night's sleep. It was borderline pornographic for me.'

It was revealed by Page Six that Blake had given birth in a hospital near the couple's home in Bedford, New York, just before the New Year. And now it seems that a nurse at the hospital has revealed the baby's name on Twitter, where else?

A post from @kimbanksy, who claims to work at the Westchester Medical Centre, read: 'Congrats @blakelively #blakelively glad to have you and baby girl violet in our care.'

The post and Twitter account have both since been deleted so the details can't be verified. Though, the nurse did write another tweet which simply said: 'I think I'm in trouble.'

If Blake has called her baby Violet we love it. So perfect. So Blake. And so not weird-Hollywood like these other celebrity baby names.

Blake Lively looked refreshed, renewed and revitalised for her red-carpet appearance on Tuesday evening. Almost unbelievably so, considering the previous night just happened to be the biggest celebrity party of the year.

Escorted by her handsome hubby Ryan Reynolds, the 26-year-old actress wowed at the Met Ball 2014 on Monday. But while many stars spent the following day recovering and stepping out in dark sunnies and comfy casuals, Blake prepped for another evening of full-on glamour.

Blake Lively has confirmed her plans to take a break from acting, but her new social savvy pastime may surprise you.

As well as dishing all the delicious details on her passion for food (and chocolate chip cookies in particular), Blake has revealed her now not-so-secret Pinterest profile in a new interview.

As the Gossip Girl star gears up to launch her own website, said to be similar to Gwyneth Paltrow’s GOOP, Blake told The Cut: ‘I’m creating a brand that I felt the need for.

‘I was on my show [Gossip Girl] for so long that I really wanted to break from acting, because it lost its excitement for me in a way, because it was such a job.’

But when it comes to surfing the net for inspiration, Blake said her own Pinterest board is already littered with hairstyle ideas and pictures of her gorgeous hubby, Ryan Reynolds. Amazing.

‘I have a Pinterest account. I don’t have any friends on it. It’s not under my name. It’s not like, top secret. It’s just a way that I can store the boards,’ she explained.

‘Sometimes, it’s weird. If I’m looking [at] hair things, I see, ‘oh, that’s me!’ That’s so weird! But I do re-pin pictures of Ryan.’

The couple's glam red carpet appearance came just hours after Ryan Reynolds opened up about their relationship - and plans to have a family - in a new interview.

'We'd love to have a big family,' the actor told Details magazine, giving a rare glimpse into the private pair's life.

'We both come from big families - my parents did four, Blake's did five. A lot of people say it's crazy, but we'll only know when we're there, you know? We'll walk through that fire pretty happily, I think.'

On keeping his marriage to Blake Lively our of the public eye, he added: 'I don't intentionally try to be evasive about that stuff.

'If you ask me to describe my relationship, I mean - words are too clumsy to accurately describe how I feel in that regard, particularly in an interview.

'It's a strange thing. I understand the climate we live in and why people are curious. But it's just tough and almost emotionally violent -- for anyone, I think -- to see your personal life summarised in a sentence.'

Ryan Reynolds has been revealing details of his marriage to Blake Lively, saying that he would never dream of stepping out in public without getting fashion advice from his wife.

The actor told ExtraTV this week: 'I would never walk out of the house without her approval.'

She said: 'Christian helped me pick out my shoes...He's a good friend and somebody I trust incredibly. He's the closest thing that I say I have to a stylist. There are few people that I ask - Karl, Christian.'

It was the first time the notoriously private couple have been photographed together at an event since they exchanged vows in September.

The beautiful couple beamed as they stood at the side of the stage while singer Florence Welch, who sang three songs at their intimate wedding in South Carolina last year, took to the stage at The Sound Of Change Live concert in Twickenham Stadium.

As the stars prepared for Oscar weekend, Blake Lively and hubby Ryan Reynolds visited a hospital in Ontario

While some of Hollywood's biggest stars prepared for the Oscars over the weekend, Blake Lively and husband Ryan Reynolds swapped their red carpet attire for hospital scrubs, for a visit to a paediatric unit in Canada.

Blake and Ryan skipped the biggest weekend in the showbiz calendar to visit patients at the Health Sciences North hospital in Sudbury, Ontario.

The couple, who married in September last year, are believed to be staying close by, while Ryan films new flick Queen of the Night in the country.

Patients and staff were said to be delighted by their visit, which saw them meet children and parents at the paediatric unit.

They said the couple were 'very kind'.

'I can tell you the visit was really appreciated by the kids, their parents, and the staff on the unit,' hospital spokesperson Dan Lessard said in an email.

'Mr. Reynolds and Ms. Lively were wonderful with the children.'

Parent Sarah Lavallee told Northern Life.ca: 'Even though he had no idea who they were, my son did give them one big smile,'

'It was nice to see since he wasn't smiling a lot at that point, and I really appreciated both Ryan and Blake giving me something to smile about at such a difficult time.

'It was a very unexpected visit, and I thought it was especially nice of them to take pictures of me with each of them before they left.'

Ahh. We like Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds even more, now.

Such news makes it all the more sad that the pair split in 2011, but Scarlett was keen to stress how tying the knot can change things, adding: ‘But it [marriage] is different. It’s hard to put into words.’

‘I’m not having kids any time soon, I’m in a nice relationship, I’m working a lot and, like I said, it’s not important to me.’

The duo told People magazine: ‘Blake is incredibly stylish, and she really knew what she wanted. It was very much how we do a lot of brides.

‘We started with a lot of sketches, and we sat down and talked through the sketches until we came to the final dress…she just wanted it to be romantic and beautiful.'

Judging by her constant fashion hits, we bet she looked exactly that!

A spokesman for Hollywood jeweller Lorraine Schwartz, who worked with Ryan Reynolds on the design of Blake's new rock revealed: 'Ryan chose Lorraine Schwartz to help him find a flawless, light pink oval diamond.

'They worked together to design a custom setting in rose gold and pave diamonds with a nod to deco.'

The couple tied the knot at Boone Hall Plantation in South Carolina in September, with insiders revealing British songstress Florence Welch, entertained the guests.

It's thought Blake and Ryan celebrated their union with close friends and family, reportedly working with wedding planner Tara Guérard on the intimate, personalized party, held in a 'rustic barn'.

'From the heartfelt ceremony to the fun-filled carnival hour and elegant reception, it was a truly enchanting celebration,' American magazine People reports.

Blake walked down the aisle in a one-of-a-kind Marchesa creation, a couture bridal ball gown featuring a hand-draped silk tulle bodice, scattered with an intricate crystal and rose gold embroidery.

Meanwhile, Blake's bridesmaids wore delicate blush chiffon Marchesa dresses embroidered with crystals and topped off with Louboutin heels, and Ryan Reynolds wore a Burberry suit.

Marchesa designer Georgina Chapman opens up on creating Blake Lively's wedding dress

Last month we told you how Blake Lively married Ryan Reynolds wearing a Marchesa wedding dress, and now designer Georgina Chapman has spoken out about the actress' involvement in creating the gown for her big day.

The Gossip Girl star wed the heart-throb Canadian actor in a hush-hush ceremony in South Carolina in September, walking down the aisle in a bespoke couture bridal gown featuring a hand-draped silk tulle bodice, decorated with intricate crystal and rose gold embroidery.

Marchesa co-designer Georgina, who founded the fashion label with fellow Brit Keren Craig, has now revealed that Lively was very hands-on during the design process.

Speaking at a party in New York to celebrate the launch of Marchesa's collaboration with the NFL, she told Us Weekly: 'We're friends. It was wonderful to spend time with her. Blake has such an innate style.'

She added: 'I've worked with her so many times and know her so well. [She] has a very clean sense of fashion...she was very involved.'

Blake, who also wore heels by her close shoe designer friend Christian Louboutin, and Ryan, who wore a Burberry suit, wed at the Boone Hall Plantation and Gardens in an intimate ceremony in front of close family and friends.

The couple began dating last year, after meeting on the set of 2012 film, the Green Lantern.

Just over a year since the low-key couple first began dating, American magazine People has revealed Marie Claire's October cover girl Blake and actor bay Ryan tied the knot in a private ceremony at Boone Hall Plantation in South Carolina on Saturday.

It's thought the private pair, who met on the set of superhero flick Green Lantern in 2010, celebrated their union with close friends and family in a romantic white tent in the grounds.

According to sources, guests enjoyed a performance from none other than British songstress Florence Welch, a close friend of the Gossip Girl starlet, while a DJ had everyone on the dance floor.

Although the couple are yet to reveal any details of Blake's big day dress, it's thought a sumptuous wedding cake was driven down from Virginia specially for their nuptials.

After enjoying a string of super-secret dates, it's thought Blake and Ryan moved in together earlier this year, purchasing a sprawling pad in an upscale area of Connecticut, just a commute away from New York.

A source told Us Weekly magazine of the move: 'They have been looking around different areas of Connecticut for a house. Ryan is practically living with her already. When he's at her apartment, it feels like home.'

A second source added: 'Blake and Ryan would like to live, as much as they can, like a normal couple. They love getting out of the city and appreciate a slower pace.'

Speaking to Marie Claire for our October issue (on sale in newsstands from Thursday 6th September), Blake revealed that rather then Reynolds, who she lives with in upstate New York, her most treasured filming experience was with Alan Arkin in The Private Lives of Pippa Lee.

She said: 'Honestly, Alan Arkin was one of the best love interests I’ve ever had. He was the most kind, fun and a challenge - because he was clearly very uncomfortable with the fact that I was 19 and he was 72.'

'Recently, I was in London and I stayed in my hotel most of the time because it was raining. But on the last night I went out for dinner. After I’d arrived, I was told a bunch of paparazzi had showed up. I thought, “that’s so weird. I’ve been left alone most of my stay - why are they bothering me now?”

'But then someone told me it was because Victoria Beckham was in the same restaurant. I was like, OK, that makes sense. Have Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively married? Rumours have spread after a recent police report referred to Reynolds' 'wife'

They are notoriously private, but could it be true that Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds have secretly married?

According to TMZ, a police report filed by Reynolds after he was followed by a photographer refers to Blake Lively as Ryan's wife.

The police officer investigating the case wrote in the document: 'Upon arriving, I spoke with Ryan Reynolds and his wife... They explained that this individual was a photographer attempting to take pictures of them.'

BLAKE LIVELY AND RYAN REYNOLDS ARE BUYING A HOUSE TOGETHER

Blake's name wasn't specifically mentioned in the document, but the officer continuously refers to Ryan Reynolds' 'wife', adding:

'Mr Reynolds and his wife were advised to contact police should any persons enter their property or act in an aggressive or illegal manner while attempting to obtain photographs of them.'

The pair have already moved in together in the state of New York, but a source close to Reynolds said the reference in the report was merely a mistake and the actor and Gossip Girl star are not married.

And the couple enjoyed yet another string of romantic outings over the weekend, after hooking up in New York.

According to reports, the 'very cuddly' pair kicked off their secret trip with a double brunch date with Blake’s sister and her hubby at a trendy NY diner.

Onlookers say the ‘very sweet, polite’ twosome were ‘poking each other, giggling, and even seen leaning on each other in the booth,’ before leaving a ‘generous’ tip.

Next up, Blake and Ryan hit the shops, and were reportedly spotted ‘hand in hand’ and sharing a kiss as they browsed the rails for jeans at swanky store John Varvatos.

Finishing off their whirlwind day, the couple snuck into famous sweet eatery Serendipity, and were joined by friends as they sipped frozen hot chocolate. Yum.

‘Blake sat very close to Ryan and had her head on his shoulder the entire time,’ the insider added. ‘Blake has been a regular at Serendipity for years.’

The sneaky pair were first spied together on Saturday morning, as they snuck out of Ryan’s Boston pad.

The very next day they were spotted together once again, emerging separately from the posh apartment, with lovely Ms Lively pulling a wide-brimmed hat down to cover her face.

And this is not the first time the pair have been seen together.

According to reports, the Green Lantern co-stars were out and about together in New York last week, spending an evening at swanky Burlesque club The Box to celebrate Ryan’s 35th birthday.

It’s thought the couple stepped out with a group of pals – including Sandra Bullock – and partied late into the night.

Now insiders are saying the beautiful twosome are ‘very much a couple’.

'He was definitely with Blake. Sandra arrived with the couple and a group, and they watched some of the burlesque performers,’ one onlooker told the New York Post.

'The group had a great time and stayed late. Sandra left with many of the others, leaving Blake and Ryan alone.'

They added: 'Blake and Ryan were sitting downstairs holding hands and had bodyguards with them. They left together at around 2.15 am.'

'He and Blake were being really cute and affectionate together.’

The latest romance rumours come just months after Gossip Girl Blake parted ways with Leonardo DiCaprio, while Ryan split with wife Scarlett Johansson last year.

The A-list duo grace the brand new campaign for Marks & Spencer's Autograph collection

The British high street is getting a large dose of A-list glamour this season, with M&S announcing that Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Ryan Reynolds are the new faces of its autumn Autograph campaign.

Bringing a Hollywood touch to the fashion favourite, the first images of the gorgeous pair have been unveiled today, all shot by official BAFTA awards photographer Greg Williams at the St Pancras Renaissance Hotel in London.

'Rosie and Ryan are the perfect fit for Autograph – beautiful, exclusive and absolutely contemporary. On set, they worked together to deliver a mesmerising performance which allowed us to capture shots that literally sizzle with excitement and an air of mystery,' commented Steve Sharp, M&S Executive Director.

Speaking on his first M&S campaign, Ryan said: 'I was thrilled when M&S asked me to be in their campaign and Rosie was a pleasure to work with. I’m from Canada and grew up with the M&S brand. Going into an M&S store with my family or friends always gives me a beautiful pang of nostalgia.'

Rosie added, 'I am extremely excited to be working with M&S on the new Autograph Autumn 2011 campaign. I feel proud to be associated with a British high street favourite that holds fond memories for so many people.'
