I wanted the Lyma to target a patch of stubborn pigmentation on my cheek that has refused to mind its own business, and in truth, to make my skin look a little less tired. It’s a handheld laser (more “sleek torch” than anything futuristic), small enough to use without it feeling like a production. The treatment window is small, and because each target area needs three minutes, it feels more for precision than full-face theatrics, which suited me perfectly. My routine stayed the same throughout the testing process: Reome Active Recovery Broth every morning; Augustinus Bader’s The Rich Cream or The Soothing Cream, depending on the weather; and in the evening, Sisley Black Rose Oil.

How I Got On

I’ve used it now for around three months and for the first month, I was religious about it. Slotting sessions into TV time, or reading (or the occasional off-camera work call). Keeping the wand stationary really isn’t challenging at all. And on occasion, I’d move the wand in slow, deliberate sweeps—the glide gel makes this incredibly foolproof, although my regular nighttime oil provided just the right amount of slip.

As I’ve edged further into my thirties, I’ve noticed that my skin doesn’t quite bounce back the way it used to. How I Got On

I'm terrible at keeping up with routines, but because the LYMA can be used over makeup and doesn't require any downtime, it was easy to pick it up whenever I remembered. I ended up leaving it on my desk at home, and whenever I had a few minutes in between meetings, I would squeeze in a session. Then, when I remembered and had a bit more time, I would do a proper treatment, using the Glide Gel to add some slip for a lymphatic drainage massage, sweeping upward along my jawline and under my cheekbones.

What did feel strange—almost counterintuitive—was the lack of sensation. I’m so used to skincare devices tingling, buzzing or heating up that it felt odd to trust something that was doing absolutely none of those things. 2. Chic metallics

Metallics and sparkles scream party season, but if you don’t want to commit to full cover metallic nails, you can incorporate these colours as part of a lower-key nail art design. “Gold and silver are a must for party season,” says Georgia. “I wear a clean nude manicure the majority of the year, so if I’m not quite ready to part with the nudes, I’ll apply a gold or silver shade as a French tip. My favourites this season are from OPI’s new Holiday collection – ‘Nougat by Nature’ and ‘OPI’m Frosted’.”

3. Milky whites

Wintry whites just make sense at this time of year, not to mention they’ll compliment any other colour you wear them with. Georgia agrees: “With December’s bolder wardrobe choices sometimes I like to go understated with my nails, in which case I’ll opt for a milky white shade that almost gives a frosted glass effect. My favourite for this is ‘Glaciale’ from Chanel.”

Reds are one of the most classic nail colour palettes you can choose from and pretty much any shade depth works for the party season. “Red is of course a December classic, but I always opt for a shade that’s a tone deeper than a traditional bright red,” Georgia explains. “One of my absolute favourites is Bio Sculpture’s ‘A Night At The Opera’.”

5. Soft-focus sparkles

Sparkle finishes don’t have to be all-out sequins and chunky, glitzy glitter (though this is the time of year for those finishes if you’re a fan). If you’re more of a minimalist, you can incorporate subtler sparkles or pearlescent finishes, too. “A sheer sparkly shade is always in my kit this time of year,” says Georgia. “Essie’s new ‘Diamond Dust’ top coat is stunning. It catches the light in the most beautiful way and can be applied on top of any shade to give it a sparkly finish. Super easy if you have a last minute event.”

6. Classic red

A classic red is almost always a good idea, and there's really no better time to opt for a bolder red manicure than the party season. Whether you prefer shorter square nails or a longer oval or almond shape, bright cherry reds look good on all length and nail shapes.

I don't think I'm alone in saying that gourmand scents are perhaps some of my least favourite out there. Often heavy and cloying, they have a distinctly youthful feel that doesn't really match up with my preference for light and fresh perfumes.

Think Tom Ford's iconic Tobacco Vanille, but lighter and slightly less warm.

It's designed to be a hair and body mist, and I can attest to the fact that it really does stick. The richer base nose stay around the longest, but subtle hits of vanilla continue to cut through during the day. I've also been known to use it as a room spray when my space needs a refresh, and it settles beautifully in the air too.

I can hazard a guess that most people who dislike vanilla perfumes typically do like the natural scent of vanilla—what turns most of us off is the sugary, powdery finish that often comes with it in perfume blends. But by combining traditional vanilla with muskier notes that give Vanilla Smoke a tangible maturity, Phlur has managed to make an anti-vanilla vanilla perfume come to life.

And it's not just hearsay: researchers from the University of Exeter undertook a healthy ageing clinical study, funded by Pvolve, which revealed that the training method is effective in improving balance, muscle mass, and mobility - all key factors to keep in check as we age.

But what is it about the new Longevity Bundle that's got everyone so excited? My review will tell you everything you need to know. After all, it's an expensive bit of kit, so part of my motivation for testing it was finding out whether it's worth the price tag.

I tried Pvolve’s brand new Longevity Bundle - and have some thoughts to share

What is the Pvolve Longevity Bundle?

The Pvolve Longevity Bundle is a strength-focused kit that includes eleven pieces of at-home workout equipment, plus three months' access to Pvolve's on-demand streaming service.

I was keen to learn more about the idea behind the bundle, so I spoke to Dani Coleman, VP of Training and Head Trainer at Pvolve, and Jen An's own PT.

Speaking to MC UK, she said that the new Longevity Bundle is built around small, intentional progressions you can maintain.

"Muscle is the foundation of healthy ageing, and the more we build and maintain it, the easier everything else becomes, from metabolism and mobility to posture and energy," she explained.

Hence, why strength training is a key theme of the bundle. But, as Coleman emphasised, muscle mass isn't the only facet of healthy ageing.

"Longevity requires mobility, stability, and recovery woven into your routine so your joints, fascia, and nervous system can actually support the work you’re doing. The new bundle is curated with that in mind."

What are the benefits of the Pvolve Longevity Bundle?

The Pvolve Longevity Bundle is all about functional strength and resistance-based training. It's designed to improve lean muscle mass and protect against injury - two pretty essential components for ageing well.

"As early as our 30s, women can begin losing 3 to 8% of muscle mass per decade," Coleman said when speaking to MC UK. "When paired with proper fueling and recovery, strength training can significantly slow this loss.”

Plus, regular strength work - which the bundle enables - can improve bone density, which plays a vital role in preventing or managing conditions like osteoporosis.

And it’s not just about physical strength. Coleman points out that resistance training is linked to “improved mood and increased energy,” making the bundle a holistic approach to ageing well - though it’s worth remembering that this is just one piece of the puzzle alongside nutrition, sleep, and lifestyle habits.

Going back to Pvolve’s clinical study on healthy ageing, the programme followed 72 women across pre-, peri-, and post-menopause over the course of 12 weeks. Results included a 19% increase in lower-body strength, a 21% boost in flexibility, and a 10% improvement in balance, mobility, and stability. Those are some pretty impressive statistics.

My Pvolve Longevity Bundle Review

Week One

I’ll be honest - after unboxing the Pvolve Longevity Bundle, my first feeling was one of overwhelm. There are eleven pieces of equipment in total, which, for someone used to a single resistance band and a mat, looked more like a mini gym setup than a “bundle.”

But it turns out I didn’t need to worry. Each class starts with a clear walkthrough from the instructor on how to use the equipment safely and effectively. My top tip for Pvolve beginners? Use the online streaming service - the instructors do a great job explaining form and setup, so you get the most from every move.

What I loved most right from the start is how the classes focus on functional fitness, a core part of Pvolve's ethos as a brand. Instructors often link exercises back to everyday movements - things like reaching behind you, stabilising yourself if you trip, or twisting to grab something from the back seat. It makes the sessions feel more purposeful, like you’re training for real life rather than just ticking off a workout.

The bundle itself is impressively versatile. I became an instant fan of the P.band and P.ball - the latter, a small inflatable ball used for core work, had my abs shaking. I also loved that the ankle weights double up as wrist weights, making upper-body exercises more dynamic. But the unexpected hero for me was the slant board. As someone whose balance could definitely use some improvement, it gave me a whole new awareness of how I stabilise my body.

By the end of the week, I genuinely felt stronger - not just in a muscle-burn kind of way, but in how I moved throughout the day. Everything feels just that little bit more controlled and connected, which, I suppose, is the whole point of Pvolve’s longevity approach.

Week Two

By week two, I felt far more confident navigating both the equipment and the platform, thanks in no small part to Pvolve's "Strong for Fall" calendar. It's a structured plan that works the full body and builds in rest and recovery, which, as Coleman emphasised, is just as important as the strength training itself.

As someone who can spend longer choosing a workout than doing it, having the decision-making done for me was ideal. The mix of classes also feels really intentional: lower body burn one day, upper body the next, and full body sessions sprinkled throughout. You don't have to follow the calendar, and there's a ton of other workouts available, but I personally enjoyed having everything laid out for me.

This week also gave me the chance to try the Heavy and Moderate Booty Bands and the Light and Heavy Full Body Bands, the new additions of this bundle, compared with others. Quality-wise, they’re excellent - sturdy, grippy, and definitely capable of turning a “gentle” workout into a spicy one. That said, they’re not wildly different from other resistance bands I’ve used before… just nicer versions. The benefit really comes from how the instructors integrate them into multi-directional movements, so you feel the burn from new angles.

What I appreciated most this week was how the Pvolve method delivers a message I genuinely needed to hear: training for longevity isn’t about pushing your limits or smashing personal bests. As Coleman puts it, “It’s about training your body to stay powerful, mobile, and resilient for decades to come.” And honestly? After two weeks of classes that challenge strength, balance, and mobility in equal measure, the message hits home.

The workouts didn’t feel easier by the end of week two, but I definitely felt more capable, which feels like the whole point of the Longevity Bundle.

Sadly, the Pvolve Longevity Bundle is only available on the Pvolve website for the time being, which, plus shipping costs, means it's a pretty high price point. That said, I'm confident that this iteration is a great representation of their many other bundles - including the Pvolve Signature Bundle and Pvolve Essentials Bundle - all readily available to buy in the UK, sans the hefty shipping costs. Few beauty tools spark as much conversation as Dyson’s. After all, the brand reshaped at-home styling in 2016 with the launch of the original Supersonic Hair Dryer—a lightweight, powerful device that changed the way we think about airflow. A few years later, they turned heads again with the launch of the Airwrap Multistyler, the first hair tool to harness the Coanda effect (the tendency of air to wrap around a curved surface) to style hair without extreme heat.

Since then, Dyson has continued to refine and upgrade its tools, with each new model offering frontline technology and insightful innovation. But with so many versions now available, it can be hard to know which one is right for your hair type, your routine and your budget (when each tool comes with a price tag well into the hundreds, it’s not a decision to make lightly).

So, the Marie Claire UK team put the latest launches to the test—including the Supersonic Nural, the Supersonic r, the Airwrap Coanda 2x and the Airstrait—comparing each to its predecessor and weighing up whether they’re truly worth the investment. Here’s our in-depth Dyson hair tools review…

How we tested each Dyson hair tool

Airwrap Co-anda 2x Multi-Styler and Dryer

The latest iteration of the Dyson Airwrap, the 2x uses Dyson’s most powerful haircare motor yet, the Hyperdymium™ 2. Spinning at an eye-watering 150,000rpm (that’s nine times faster than a Formula 1 engine), it delivers 30% more power and twice the air pressure. This means that hair dries as quickly as it would with a full-sized professional dryer, and it creates curls, waves and sleek styles faster—and all without extreme heat.

There’s also a layer of personalisation via the Dyson app, a memory function to store your settings, and upgraded attachments compared to previous models. In other words, it’s an upgrade on the Airwrap ID and the original in every meaningful metric.

To really put the Airwrap 2x through its paces, I started with sopping-wet hair straight out of the shower. According to the instructions, hair should be around 80% dry before styling, and I reached that point in just two minutes flat with the Fast Dryer attachments.

Then, I ued the 40mm Coanda curling barrel to finish my styling. It took a bit of getting used to, and there were a few sections where my hair was blowing is every direction, but I managed to get the hang of it quite quickly. It was impressive to see my hair being drawn in, wrapped, styled and set in seconds. and I worked my way around my head, switching the direction of the airflow halfway through.

From dripping wet to a full, bouncy blow-dry, the entire process took just nine minutes. At £579.99, it’s undeniably a serious investment—but it truly does it all, and in record speed. I finished with a texture mist and a little hairspray, and the style held relatively well. There was some volume drop-off straight away and the curls softened throughout the day, but with my fine, slippery hair, that feels inevitable.

Dyson Supersonic Nurale Hair Dryer

The key innovation of the new hair dryer is the intelligent Nural sensors, which activate the scalp protect mode. An invisible infrared beam measures the distance between the hair dryer and your hair, and then changes the heat and speed modes accordingly to protect the skin on your scalp.

The dryer comes with five attachments - the Gentle air attachment (allows for fast and gentle styling by evenly dispersing airflow); the Styling concentrator (much like the ones that come with your traditional hair dryers, this one is wider and thinner for more precise styling); the Wide-tooth comb (designed to be used on curls and coils to help lengthen or add volume); the Flyaway attachment (smooths short hairs to prevent flyaways) and the brand new Wave+curl diffuser, which uses reversible airflow to better define waves, curls and coils.

You can use this dryer in exactly the same way as the original Supersonic - where you control the temperature and speed settings - but the Nural will remember your preferences depending on the attachment.

Overall, I think this is a brilliant hair dryer. I used another dryer whilst I was in a hotel recently and it struck me just how hot my scalp was becoming when I was using it. It was then that I appreciated how innovative the technology really is. As for how it compares to the original Supersonic? I see it as an upgrade—you can use the Nural in the same way as the original, with the added benefit of the scalp technology. If you're going to invest in one or the other, I'd buy the Nural.

Dyson Supersonic r Hair Dryer

I am yet to find a Dyson tool that I don't get on with, but I will admit that I wasn't sure whether there was a need for another Supersonic hair dryer when the others (original Supersonic and Supersonic Nural) are already so brilliant. I've known about the 'r' for a while now, as it originally launched last year for professionals only, which again slightly confused me as to where this one sits amongst the lineup.

I've been testing it for almost a month now, and the thing that stands out is how quickly I can dry my hair. I have long, fine hair, and a lot of it. Blow-drying my hair typically takes so long that I have long been in the air-dry camp. But using the 'r' has made the process so quick that I would consider changing my allegiances. It's lightweight, comes with useful attachments and no longer makes drying my hair a chore.

Dyson Airstrait Straightener

The Dyson Airstrait is a genuine piece of engineering art. It’s the only straightener that uses the Dyson Hyperdymium motor to deliver powerful, directional airflow that smooths and aligns hair—without hot plates or extreme heat. I’ll admit I was initially sceptical. Setup feels a little intense: you have to press the Test and Reset buttons on the plug first for safety, then choose your settings, from wet or dry mode to airflow strength and temperature. Once you clamp down on your section, it senses the hair and fires a burst of high-powered air, before returning to low flow when you’re done.

My hair normally needs several passes with a traditional straightener, and even then, the ends tend to flick. But with one single pass, the Airstrait took my wet hair to bone dry and poker straight.

If I’m being picky, it left my hair almost too straight. Adding movement proved tricky—the device is more difficult to manoeuvre than straighteners, and you can’t twist or flip it in the same way. Turn it upside down and the airflow sends your hair upwards; try to curl with it and the results fall flat.

But the time-saving element is unbeatable. If you’re like me and just want to look polished with as little effort as possible, the Airstrait is a no-brainer. As long as you love poker-straight hair.

Ah, Black Friday weekend—the seasonal sale that sparks either pure exhilaration or a deep desire to run in the opposite direction. I’ll admit, I firmly belong to the latter camp. Rise & Fall might be your go-to for bedding, or perhaps it's the brand's addictively-soft cashmere that's become a habit as winter has begun with a bang, but if there's one item you'll want to shop this Cyber Monday, it's not something that majors in snuggle-factor, but a suede trench coat.

It's no secret that I am an absolute Christmas fanatic. As it does with most people, it started very young. I fell hook, line and sinker for the magic of it all. My tried and tested method for achieving this is to light a candle in every room, which I have to admit means I get through an awfully large number of them by New Year's Day. I can't help but think there must be an art to doing it properly. As we know, home fragrance, whilst naturally filling your room with beautiful aromas, also has the power to evoke memories, set moods and create atmosphere. So, what do the fragrance experts say about scenting the home for Christmas? What's the ideal combination for creating the best festive backdrop for the festivities?

I asked Amanda Connock, founder of Connock England and Amy Wise, The White Company's Senior Fragrance Buyer, for their tips and tricks for scenting the home at Christmas.

Decorating with scent

"The way your home smells adds an important layer to the wider interior design," says Amy Wise of The White Company. "It allows you to create distinct environments with a different scent profile." To do this, she recommends tailoring the scent to the time of the day, the occasion, mood or the season by layering candles, room sprays and diffusers across your home. Connock London's founder, Amanda Connock, agrees, “I love to layer fragrance throughout my home and change it seasonally. I recommend starting with a steady base, adding warmth and atmosphere, then finishing with an instant lift." She does this with the help of reed diffusers, luxury candles and fragrance mists. "I begin with a reed diffuser to give a constant, subtle scent," she says. "Then I light a candle when I want cosiness and mood, and use a room or linen mist to refresh fabrics and welcome guests. Layering like this lets you control the intensity and move a room from day to night with ease.”

Scentscaping

What both experts are describing is scentscaping, also known as fragrance zoning. It's the art of layering different home fragrances around your home and creating individual moments that all flow together seamlessly.

To achieve this, consider the various areas of the home and think about the atmosphere you want to create in each. Here Connock talks us through the rooms of the house and how she scents each one for Christmas.

Entrance hall

"Make the first impression count," she says. She likes to use a reed diffuser in the hallway as they provide a steady base note that welcomes people as they enter.

Sitting room

For relaxed entertaining, Connock recommends layering a statement candle with a subtle diffuser. "Candles bring warmth and atmosphere, while the diffuser keeps a gentle background scent for longer visits."

Kitchen

"In cooking spaces, choose clean, zesty scents that cut through food aromas," Connock says. She says linen mists on curtains or scented ceramic decorations hung on a cupboard handle work well and don't overpower, but refresh the space.

For a natural simmer pot, Amanda simmering a saucepan of water on the hob and throwing in your favourite herbs, spices or fruit. Amanda’s winter favourites are clove, cinnamon sticks, orange, star anise and vanilla in the winter.

Bedroom

Connock says that it's best to keep the bedroom calm and restorative. "A room mist on pillows and a light diffuser in a corner creates a tranquil, spa like environment. For deeper relaxation, choose notes like sandalwood or soft amber."

Bathroom

An often forgotten area of the house. Get rid of that loo freshener and "opt for fresh, spa-inspired notes, such as eucalyptus and bergamot." Doesn't have to be much, but a small candle or diffuser tucked on a shelf makes all the difference with consistent freshness without overpowering the space.

One of the undeniable perks of working as a beauty editor is having had the chance to try so many of the best facials—but between a hectic work schedule and nursery pickups, going for a professional treatment is the reserve of special occasions only. My facial of choice is usually a Hydrafacial. So when the Shark FacialPro Glow + DePuffi landed on my desk, a skincare tool that has been drawing comparisons to my beloved facial treatment of choice, I had to put it to the test.

You see, the thing about seeing a professional for a facial is that you typically get to enjoy some proper time out. All I ever needed to do was lie back, and let someone else tend to my tired, spot-prone, stressed-out skin and I’d emerge an hour or so later looking like a woman reborn. How could an at-home tool not only come close to giving the same level of deep cleansing and glow, but also mimic a similar spa-like experience? I decided to give it a go to find out.

First Impressions

Every element of my beauty routine needs to be simple, fast and easy to get to grips with, so when I first unboxed the Shark FacialPro Glow + DePuffi, my first thought was that it looked a little complicated. The device itself comes in two parts, with multiple attachments and two skincare products, so I definitely felt slightly overwhelmed. However, the setup is pleasingly foolproof. Once you’ve charged the device itself, it simply snaps into place, and you can then select your chosen attachment and clip it on intuitively. There is an attachment to use on larger areas of your face and a smaller one for areas in need of precision, like around your nose or across your T-zone. And if you have reactive skin, then there are sensitive nozzles with less suction to minimise irritation.

How It Works

The biggest concern for me was that this would end up being yet another skincare tool left gathering dust next to other gimmicky gadgets that I’ve been sent to test over the years. However, despite my first impressions, this is actually a very easy-to-use device. After cleansing my skin as usual, I applied the Derm Detox exfoliating serum and then filled up the tank with water, ready for exfoliation and extractions. You can adjust the intensity—I started on the lowest of the three settings for my first go—and then glided the tool over my skin.

There’s definitely a feeling of suction as the FacialPro Glow actively works to draw impurities out from your skin, but it didn’t feel uncomfortable at all. I used my free hand to slightly stretch my skin as I moved the tool to prevent any dragging or pulling, and I think this definitely contributed to how easy it was to use. I used the wide tip for the first two minutes, then switched to the narrower one around my nose and my chin, where I do get quite congested.

Once the three minutes were up, the ‘gunk tank’ was filled with murky water and something the brand calls ‘floaties’—a cuter name for what is essentially the dirt from blackheads and dead skin cells. Is it gross? Perhaps to some. To me, it's confirmation that the Shark FacialPro Glow actually does something for my skin. And it’s this grim fascination with seeing what actually comes out of our skin that made the Hydrafacial so viral, too.

The next step is all about locking moisture back into the skin and boosting glow. To do this, you empty the device of all that gunk and water and then fill the tank with the Hydro Infuse serum. You then repeat the same process as before, but this time, that beautifully hydrating serum is being pumped into your skin to boost moisture levels and deeply hydrate. My skin was definitely looking a little red at this point, but again, there was no discomfort caused by the suction, and I could almost immediately see my skin looking more quenched and juicy.

Once that was finished, I applied my usual moisturiser, then popped on the DePuffi attachment and used the InstaChill setting to enjoy a cooling facial massage. This was undeniably my favourite part of the entire treatment—it helped to bring down the slight redness that my skin was experiencing post-exfoliation, but also reduced puffiness and just left my whole face looking a little more lifted and smooth than it would otherwise. (You can also use this on a warm setting for more of a relaxing massage vibe and to help with lymphatic drainage, something which I have loved this week while dealing with a cold and blocked sinuses.) The process in total took about 10 minutes.

I’ve had the Shark FacialPro Glow + DePuffi for a couple of weeks now, and I’m truly surprised at how many times I have reached for it. The full facial routine detailed above is suggested as a weekly treatment, meaning that I’ve definitely found it easy to incorporate the 10 minutes needed into a bit of a Sunday night ritual. However, the DePuffi attachment has become something that I’ve reached for almost daily—the cool setting has been incredible at helping to almost sculpt my face on very puffy mornings and reawaken my tired skin, while the warm setting is a beautifully relaxing ritual on winter evenings. Especially in cold and flu season, when I’ve been really suffering with congestion and stuffiness in my face. (The DePuffi will actually be launching as a standalone device soon, which is great news.)

Yes, at nearly £300, this tool does have a hefty price tag (although it's currently on a rare sale, with a £50 saving). And of course, I can’t say that the results are as impressive as spending an hour with a professional facialist. However, finding a genuinely effective skincare tool—especially as someone who wants a product that can aid with decongestion and clearing blackheads while also boosting radiance—it undoubtedly delivers. After just a couple of the weekly uses, my skin (which was in the aftermath of one of the worst stress-induced breakouts I’ve had in years) looked clearer, less congested and more luminous than it had in months. So while it won’t replace the intensity of a true in-clinic Hydrafacial (nor does it claim to), it’s remarkably close and allows anyone juggling a multitude of commitments to get an impressive glow without the logistics of leaving home for the salon.

It all started when I decided to get acrylics in Louisiana. That's a sentence I didn't think I'd ever write, and while nothing worthy of a Cormac McCarthy novel occurred during my time in the Deep South, irrevocable damage was done to my nail beds, and that, my friends, is something worth crying about.

You see, for the first time, but certainly not the last, a nail technician removed my gel manicure with a drill, whittling down my nails till they were more flat than sphere-like. While some removed them properly, using the soak-off method, the damage was done: I was getting gels and nail art applied nearly every other week, and what I was left with underneath was thin, brittle and peeling nails, which were incapable of growing without breaking off.

"Nail damage from gel manicures typically occurs when the nails are not properly prepped or the gel is applied or removed incorrectly," replies celebrity and session manicurist, Sophia Stylianou, when I speak to her about the sorry state of my talons. "Over-buffing the natural nail, using low-quality products, or picking at the gel can all weaken the nails over time."

She adds that it's essential to do your research beforehand to ensure your manicurist is prioritising nail health. "Always check that your manicurist is fully qualified, professionally trained, and uses high-quality products," she explains. "A good manicurist always prioritises hygiene by sanitising their tools, uses high-quality products, and never applies gel to nails with contraindications, such as damage or infection. They also never rush the removal and respect your choices. However, when gels are professionally applied and removed by a trained manicurist with high-quality products, there's no reason you can't wear them back-to-back without causing damage."

I quit getting my nails done cold turkey around six months ago, and while I expected it to be a quick fix, it's taken a surprising amount of time to get my nails back to their former glory, and I have quite some way to go. I've been using a range of nail strengtheners like Mavala Scientifique K+ Nail Hardener and O.P.I's excellent cuticle oil, which have stopped breakage in its tracks, but I found that I was missing having something on my nails, even if it wasn't gel. I've been using the Active Smooth range for a few weeks now, and I have to say that I love it. It perfectly bridges the gap for those who are on their nail health journey, but who still like them to look "pretty". I'm partial to the Active Glow in Grape, which is a lilac, or the Active Glow in Cranberry, which is more of a coral and suffuses my nails with a pinky sheen. Crucially, though, I feel like I'm doing something good for my fingernails when I wear these. Who knows, maybe I'll be able to brave gel again one day (with a reputable technician, of course), but in the meantime, these are bridging the gap beautifully.

Just know: this is definitely still an emerging trend in the Pilates world, so there aren't vast amounts on the market just yet. Can a Pilates board replace a Reformer?

"It’s not a complete Reformer replacement," says Deville. "You won’t get the same smooth glide or sturdiness, and certain exercises, like my personal favourite mid-back abs series (supine, hands in straps), just aren’t possible. That said, there are still plenty of exercises you can do, so for the price, a Pilates board is probably a good investment.

"One important thing to note - just like having a full Reformer at home, using a Pilates board without an instructor means you’ll need to be extra mindful of your form. It would definitely be worth looking into a solid online course or expert-led workouts to ensure you’re getting the most out of it safely and effectively."

Pros and cons of a Pilates board

Deville notes that there are pros and cons to using a Pilates board, much like a lot of at-home equipment. These are the main plusses she highlights:

• More affordable and compact: Great if you’re short on space or budget
• Adds instability for core engagement: Your stabilising muscles will have to work harder
• Low-impact and joint-friendly: Like all Pilates, it builds strength without impact.

However, there are a few cons to be aware of before you invest too. Deville notes that Pilates boards can be:

• Not as smooth or sturdy as a Reformer: You’ll notice the difference in feel and flow
• Limited exercise options: Without a moving carriage, some key Reformer moves are off the table
• Won’t fully replace a Reformer: Good for a home option, but not quite the real deal.

"My view is that if you’re looking to add a bit of Reformer-style movement to your home workouts, a Pilates board could be a useful tool. But if you’re expecting the full Reformer experience, you might be left wanting more," says Deville.

So whilst a Pilates board won't fully replace a Reformer, it's a worthwhile investment if you want something compact you can use from home in between classes or to keep you active on a budget.

If you've ever suffered with acne, you know how stubborn it can be. Thankfully, the skincare industry has come a long way since my teenage years of gritty face scrubs and stripping toners, but blemish-prone skin still requires some added TLC to keep it at bay. I had very bad acne as a teenager, leading me to try pretty much every medication available in a desperate bid to get rid of it. Do acne devices actually work?

It's easy to be persuaded by marketing, so I asked a skincare expert whether devices targeted at acne-prone skin can really make a difference. The answer was an emphatic yes, so you can be confident investing in one of these tools. However, patience is key.

The best acne devices

Project E LumaLux Face Pro LED Light Therapy Mask

I have been using the Project E LED mask every night for a few months now, and I'm hooked. It has seven different settings, one of which is for blemish control that helps to treat and prevent acne, whilst other options include soothing inflammation and scarring, treating hyperpigmentation, removing impurities, treating irritation, and improving skin texture—and that's only a few of the highlights.

It only takes three minutes to do a treatment, so it couldn't be easier to slot into your routine, and the hands-free mask is comfortable to lounge around in. Since using the LumaLux, I have definitely noticed a reduction in the number of blemishes popping up on my skin, as well as an overall improvement in my skin tone.

Since it's a full face mask, it works to treat the whole face rather than specific areas, which might not be necessary for everyone. However, despite my breakouts being fairly concentrated in one area, I like having the benefits across my whole face, and using the red LED setting to boost collagen production too. It's very compact and lightweight, making it a dream to travel with, and it comes with handy stickers so you can use it entirely hands-free. The curved shape means it fits perfectly on your chin, cheeks and forehead, and it's very intuitive to use. The blue light therapy is used to battle existing acne and reduce the risk of future breakouts, and I definitely noticed a difference after using it regularly on my problem areas.

The stickers that you use to attach it to your face are comfortable to apply and remove (think double sided tape but slightly less adhesive), but some might not like the feeling of it stuck to their skin. It also takes 20 minutes per treatment, which is slightly longer than some other tools, but thanks to the fuss-free wear it's easy to carry on with your day whilst using it. If you have a specific acne problem area and you don't want to spend hundreds on an LED mask, this is a budget-friendly option that still packs a punch.

CurrentBody Anti-Blemish LED Light Therapy Face Mask

This CurrentBody mask is what first inspired me to try out more acne-targeting tech, as I was thoroughly impressed by the results it gave me. It only has one mode, which works to eliminate bacteria, control oil production and calm redness and irritation, but that's exactly what my acne-prone skin needs. It is very soft and comfortable to wear, and treatments only take ten minutes, so it's another one that's easy to find time for.

After several weeks, I definitely noticed fewer active breakouts on my chin, as well as less redness overall. It is slightly cheaper than some other LED masks on the market, and there's no faffing around thanks to the ontargeted acne mode. It might not offer the versatility of masks with multiple settings, but acne is the only thing I need to target at the moment, so it's ideal for me.

Project E Blue LED+ Acne Light Therapy Wand

If you're after something that's more targeted than a mask but covers bigger areas than a mini light, Project E's light therapy wand is the ideal size. It turns on with a simple click of a button and you can choose between continuous treatment or a pulse setting, which allows you to move it around different areas. I love that it can be used on both the face and body, which you don't get with LED masks.

This wand promises to reduce signs of active acne in one treatment and treats acne at all life stages from inflammation to redness and scarring, so you can use it at any stage. The brand suggests you use it four times a week, with a ten-minute treatment time, which is pretty standard for acne devices. This is great if you don't want something you have to use every single day and want a tool that works fast.

It comes with goggles to protect your eyes, and you'll want to use them. I couldn't believe how bright the lights were, and I learnt the hard way that it does hurt if you look directly at the tool. But this power is what makes it so effective (but entirely painless, of course), and I found my spots were less angry after the first couple of treatments. It's also 1/3 of the price of a mask, so it's a good option if you don't want to spend too much. But again, it only has the one acne-zapping setting.

TheraBody TheraFace Mask

"I've only tested this for a few weeks, but I'm a BIG fan of the TheraBody LED mask so far. It has seventeen proprietary QX-Micro Motors and red, blue, red and infrared settings, all complemented by a soothing vibration therapy. You also don't need to use it for as long as other alternatives on the market - simply pop on for nine minutes a day and you're good to go," says Ally Head, our Senior Health and Sustainability Editor. The one thing to note is that it doesn't have a mouth hole, so if you get claustrophobic this may not be the best mask for you.

With Red, Red + Infrared, and Blue lights at work, it reduces the appearance of fine lines and acne whilst promoting smoother skin. So although it also only has one setting, it combines a few different technologies within it.

LUSTRE® ClearSkin SOLO

"This handy stick-on LED light is great for cystic or singular breakouts, as it targets one specific area of your face. It's also hands-free, meaning you kind of forget you're wearing it and can get on with cooking, working, or watching TV," says Head. It functions in a very similar way to the FaceGym tool, but can also be used on the body if that is a concern of yours.

It's no exaggeration to say that Pilates is well and truly popping off right now. The workout of the moment, it promises to boost your core strength, muscle definition, and tone, either from a studio or the comfort of your own home. And the stand-out tool that celebrities and influencers alike seem to be raving about for upping tension and levelling up your sweat sessions? Ankle weights, of course.

I won't lie to you - as a runner who strength trains to injury-proof her body, I've not been the most consistent with my Pilates practice over the years. While I totally understood the appeal, I'd never quite found the right studio or online platform to inspire me to keep at it. Not to mention, I found the 101 different types of Pilates - from Reformer Pilates, to wall Pilates, to vertical Pilates, to Tower Pilates - somewhat overwhelming.

Last year, that changed, however, when I noticed that my favourite workout platform FIIT had rolled out Pilates sessions at home. Without the time pressure of having to head in-studio and with workout lengths of ten, 25, 40 or 60 minutes, mixing up my sessions suddenly felt attainable and appealing, rather than something I didn't have time for.

I was immediately hooked and fell in love with the slow, low burn you can get from the sessions (Pilate stereotypically incorporates micro moves, which in turn work muscle groups I don't usually target with my running or weight-based strength training). By far the best bit of my Pilates discovery, though, was the BetterMe ankle weights that I started using for my workouts around a month in.

I'd been sceptical about ankle weights before, despite seeing the likes of Hailey Bieber, Kendall Jenner and Jennifer Aniston use them for their sessions. I couldn't wrap my head around how such a small amount of weight could improve my fitness. Ankle weights typically range from 0.5lb to 3lb in weight, with my BetterMe version clocking in at 1lb in total, while I lift anywhere from 10kg to 50kg at the gym.

What are the BetterMe ankle weights?

According to Victoria Repa, certified Pilates instructor, health coach, and CEO of BetterMe, the BetterMe 1 lb Adjustable Weight Bands are a simple, effective and attainable tool for adding resistance to your home workouts. "Unlike traditional fixed-weight ankle weights, our bands allow users to adjust the weight, making them adaptable for different fitness levels and workout intensities," she explains.

Plus, as Repa points out, you can choose how much weight you'd like to use each session, depending on your energy levels.

They're also non-slip, durable, and wipe clean, meaning they promise to last the long run and be an investment for life. Repa adds: "Their soft, skin-friendly fabric and secure fit ensure they stay in place during movement, while the compact and stylish design makes them easy to store."

What are the pros of wearing ankle weights?

According to Paola Di Lanzo, Pilates instructor and founder of Paola's Body Barre, there are loads of benefits to incorporating ankle weights into your weekly workouts. "Ankle weights are a really great way to add resistance to bodyweight exercises, helping to strengthen and tone the legs, glutes, and core without needing additional equipment," she explains. "They can make Pilates and barre movements more challenging, leading to increased muscle engagement and endurance."

Because they provide constant resistance, they also help improve stability, balance, and coordination, she goes on, by forcing the muscles to work harder during controlled movements. Repa explains: "Ankle weights can significantly enhance workouts by adding extra resistance, which helps engage muscles more deeply and improve endurance. They're particularly effective for strengthening the lower body, especially the legs and glutes, and can also be incorporated into both cardio and strength exercises."

They can be a useful tool for those struggling with injury or rehabbing old injuries, too. "Ankle weights support low-impact strength training, allowing for gradual strength progression without excessive strain on the joints," Di Lanzo concludes.

In studio, the instructor incorporates both wrist and ankle weights into their workouts to add extra spice and boost intensity. "The added resistance makes exercises more challenging and energy-demanding," she shares.

Research backs up the effectiveness of the workout tool, too, with ankle weights first being researched in the early 1990s. While it'd be useful to see more research on ankle weights specifically, one 2016 Journal of Taibah University Medical Sciences study found that people who used resistance bands and ankle weights grew a kilogram of muscle mass over the 12-week trial.

However, both experts emphasise that fitness levels vary, so it’s important to start gradually with any new fitness tools and listen to your body.

Anything to be mindful of when using the BetterMe weights?

With ankle weights generally, both experts warn that they can pose risks if used incorrectly or excessively. "The added weight can increase the strain on your hip, knee, and ankle joints, which can lead to discomfort or injury, especially if used during high-impact exercises like running or jumping," shares Di Lanzo.

Plus, they can promote poor movement mechanics, encouraging excessive momentum rather than controlled muscle engagement, which can reduce effectiveness and increase injury risk, she goes on.

To minimise risks, ensure proper form during exercises to prevent overuse injuries, and avoid wearing them for prolonged periods to reduce the risk of muscle fatigue and discomfort. Her top tip? Head in-studio for a session with the tool before giving them a go at home without an instructor.

Top tips for using the BetterMe ankle weights:

According to the BetterMe website, you should bear the below in mind before starting your ankle weights workouts:

• The combined weight of the equipment should be 1% to 2% of your body weight (and never more than 3%). 
• To improve the quality of movement, consider wearing ankle weights for slow, steady walks outside.
• Don’t wear ankle weights all day - start with the minimal weight and increase it gradually if needed.
• For wide-range exercises, use lighter weights.
• Aim for three sessions of 20-minute sessions or more a week to achieve results and give your joints the time to get used to such training.

I've been using the BetterMe ankle weights for the best part of 14 months: why I'm a fan

While the viral Bala Bangles get global attention, I've grown pretty fond of my BetterMe weights for a number of reasons. They're seriously easy to use, wipe clean, simple to store, and also come in an array of cute colourways (always a plus point).

This makes the weight adjustable, but does also means that they can slip off and be a bit of a faff to wriggle back on. Secondly, the 1 lb weight option is perfect if you're a beginner or if you're at entry-level with your ankle weight workouts, but it isn't the best for progressing your strength training. As someone who's strength trained for years and been consistent with my Pilates workouts for around fourteen months, I wish I'd opted for a slightly higher weight option. That way, you can take off some of the weights when you're feeling a lower weight workout or add more on if you're up for pushing yourself.

Lancôme mascaras are the stuff of legend in the beauty industry: this is a statement that's barely hyperbole. Every single one just seems to create the most beautifully defined, sculpted lashes in their own way—and over my years as a beauty editor I have found that Lancôme Hypnôse Mascara always outperforms the others.

Hypnôse offers something special and different compared to the rest of its fellow Lancôme mascaras (and all of the other 'best' mascaras in general, for that matter). The product has long been a cult beauty investment, and for good reason. After years of wearing it personally, I wanted to explain just why it's so brilliant, and explore the different ways you can enjoy it—especially while it's 20% off in the Black Friday beauty sales.

There are several reasons why I – along with most other beauty editors and make-up artists – adore the Lancôme Hypnôse Mascara. Firstly, I truly believe Lancôme does some of the absolute best mascaras in the market; every formula I have tried has performed exceptionally. But there's something so special about Hypnôse.

Let's look into the brush to begin with. A dainty, compact brush with fine bristles, the design of the wand allows for easy application, as you can reach the root of every lash. There's nothing worse than a mascara that takes tons of work to get right, and this is the antidote.

Then let's move on to the formula—this is a super-glossy black mascara that goes on beautifully and doesn't feel drying or clumpy. The product actually contains ProVitamin B5, which means not only do lashes look seriously lengthened, they also feel nice and nourished. You don't get that dry, cakey feeling when you remove it at the end of the day.

The effects of this are, in my opinion, unrivalled. For such minimal effort, you get lengthened, voluminous lashes in a single sweep. I look for a lengthening lift when I test a mascara because my lashes lack that definition, and this does it all. It also has great longevity, and still manages to look natural, making it ideal for daytime. That said, another great feature about this is how buildable it is; you can layer it on for more volume and drama, and don't have to worry about it looking thick or clumpy.

What are the other iterations of Lancôme Hypnôse Mascara?

To be honest, I love the original so much, I honestly think once you try it you won't feel the need to look elsewhere. However, this is a product so popular, it inspired an entire line of Hypnôse iterations, and they all do something a little different.

For example, for windy winter days when you're eyes might be prone to watering, you can invest in the waterproof version, which brings all the benefits of the original but with a truly budge-proof finish.

If you're someone who likes more drama, I'd opt for the Hypnôse Drama Instant Extreme Volume Mascara. This has a curved S-shape wand for more precise application, and it offers a ton more volume.

Then there's the Hypnôse Doll Eyes Mascara, which is another bestseller. The brush has a coned shape, and this allows for more of a fanned-out, wide-eye look, if that's your thing.

Whichever you choose, I guarantee you'll be happy with your lashes. This is one of those products that's just totally beauty-editor approved, and I for one will always have some version of it in my make-up collection.

Sometimes, the best kind of confidence is the understated kind—and this is particularly true when it comes to quiet perfumes. The best perfumes aren't always the ones that are so intense that they cling to you, often it's the scents that catch you by surprise as you unexpectedly get a whiff throughout the day.

These are what I like to call quiet perfumes – the sort that deliver an understated, low-maintenance sort of chicness – and my collection has become full of them.

Don't get me wrong, for the right occasion, I love a deeply rich and intense fragrance, be it an oud, a woody offering or a potent floral like jasmine, but it's easy to catch perfume burn-out if you wear these too often. Quiet scents are perfect for cleansing the palette and starting over thanks to their lightweight nature.

From Jo Malone London, Phlur, Glossier and more, here are my favourite options that stand their ground, but never have to shout too loud.

1. Phlur Lost Cause

Many of Phlur's bestselling scents have that quiet confidence, be it the brand's viral Missing Person skin scent, or a greener, more aquatic-feeling elixir such as Lost Cause. First attracted to the perfume because of its tongue-in-cheek name, I was quickly hooked by the refreshing lightness of its smell, achieved by using notes of green leaves, dew drop and ambergris.

2. Chanel N°5 L’EAU

One of Chanel's lighter scents, this is the perfect quiet way to wear the iconic No. 5. It's a lot more citrus-based than the original with lemon, mandarin, bergamot and lime, but also feels blue and featherlight with hints of aldehydes, giving it a notable freshness.

3. Merit Retrospect

A new favourite of mine, Merit Retrospect has definitely grown on me. Upon first sniff, you are hit with a wall of pear, which can feel a little overwhelming if fruity scents aren't your usual go-to. But when this dries down, it is a lot less loud and becomes more powdery, with what smells like vanilla and musk in there to offer a grounding influence.

4. Creed Silver Mountain Water

Many of Creed's scents are unabashedly loud and proud, but this lightweight citrus is a touch more quiet, if you ask me. It feels ultra-refreshing thanks to the zesty notes in there, but is given depth with musk, sandalwood and petitgrain.

5. Jo Malone London Wood Sage & Sea Salt

This is my favourite Jo Malone London cologne to layer, as it's confident and distinguished enough to wear alone, but also beautifully subtle meaning it can complement most other scents and bring out the best in them. As its name suggests, it's super salty and fresh, reminding you of brisk days at the seaside.

6. Glossier You

Glossier's now-famous skin scent is powdery, pretty and so, so comforting. It's honestly like a hug in a bottle, offering a cosy, quiet vibe that has become universally loved. To smell it is to love it.

7. Maison Margiela Replica Sailing Day 

Maison Margiela's Replica scents are designed to evoke specific emotions and memories, so picture this: a peaceful, quiet, wholesome day upon a sail boat that glides across smooth water. This is exactly what Sailing Day inspires—that feeling of calm.

8. Jones Road Fragrance in Shower 

You actually really don't hear enough about the Jones Road perfume, but I think you should. It's that perfect aldehydes scent: like fresh laundry combined with salty sea foam. The effect is a refreshing, quiet, understated one that'll have you spritzing all day long.

9. Loewe Agua Drop

This is such an interesting scent that combines the fresh, slightly aromatic notes of bergamot and orange blossom with a deeper, richer layer of leather. The result is something quite unique, which smells incredible but does so without having to shout about it.

10. Escentric Molecules Molecule 01 

No matter what happens, this will always be in my top five all-time favourite fragrances. It's so understated that you often can't even smell it on yourself, but to others, it's perfect. I can smell a clean glass of gin on the rocks, sat at a quiet bar.

11. Ouai North Bondi 

All of Ouai's fragrances have a super crisp, fresh personality that contribute to its chic aesthetic. North Bondi is slightly zesty and fruity, but also very fresh and a little aromatic.

When I think of legendary skincare products, I can't help but go straight to La Mer Moisturising Cream. The product is perhaps the best known face cream to ever exist, and it dates back to the 1960s, making it a historic one too.

My first memory of the cream is from 2015, when I was an intern at a well-known newspaper and was asked to call a sample in to review. It was my first beauty sample that I got to take home and keep - it that always stuck with me. Over the years, I've always returned to it for varying reasons; here's why I think it's worth the hype (and the money).

La Mer has one of those famed beauty histories that centres around creator Max Huber, who developed the cream after experiencing burns on his face from a lab explosion (for context, he was an aerospace physicist). Huber used sea kelp from San Diego to form the product's famed 'miracle broth'. It did however take him an incredible 12 years to create the cream we have come to know and love.

The company was later sold to Estée Lauder in the '90s, and continued to grow in popularity, gaining celebrity fans such as Jennifer Lopez and Nicole Kidman. As well as its key ingredient (the aforementioned miracle broth), the formula also contains vitamin E, glycerin and sesame seed oil. Its benefits include deep nourishment, protection of the moisture barrier, the ability to firm and lift, and its healing properties.

The original Moisturising Cream is known for its ultra-rich texture, which can feel a little heavy when you first experience it. However, there's a knack here and application is key. Instead of putting it straight on, you need to warm the product within your fingers, which in turn transforms it into more of a clear, spreadable lotion.

This is a product more suited to dry skin types, though. For those with oily-combination skin, this may feel a little intense or even greasy. That said, I tend to sit on the oilier side, and always have a pot of this on my shelf. That's because I truly vouch for its healing properties, which come in so handy whenever I experience sensitivity or dryness. While most creams irritate my skin further when I go through these periods, La Mer actively soothes, calms and moisturises.

Take for example my recent retinol purge; my skin needed an occlusive moisturiser to re-invigorate my moisture barrier, while also tending to the flaky, sore areas. This was one of the only things that did the trick, and hence why I will always be loyal to it.

For those who love to glow, the cream can definitely work all-over, however. Because of its texture, it makes skin look gorgeously plumped and hydrated, making it perfect for priming before make-up.

If you do however find it to be a little heavy, there are a number of other iterations in La Mer's range worth trying. I love the Soft Cream, which has a lighter texture but still feels comforting, as well as the Fresh Cream, which is specifically designed for oilier skin and is more like a traditional gel moisturiser. Whichever you choose, I think this is a brand that has luxury skincare down (and is worth the investment).

Also something to think about is that La Mer offer small travel friendly 15ml pots of all of its creams. This makes a more affordable way to try the cream without investing too much. And right now, as it's Cyber Weekend, you can pick up one of those smaller tubs for £63.75 at Space NK.

Hailey Bieber is committed to a theme. To celebrate turning “a tini bit 28”, the new mum donned a rare all-black outfit and went trouser-free, which isn’t the first time Bieber has styled the daring ‘pantless’ trend—Dua Lipa, Kylie Jenner, and Bella Hadid have also been spotted out sans trousers. The theme in question was, what I can only assume is Bieber’s favourite tipple—martini.

Rarely seen without a manicure, Bieber posted a close-up of her baby blue nails (a sweet but subtle nod to her son, Jack Blues Bieber, perhaps?) dotted with teeny olives. The theme didn’t end there, the party was held at a martini bar (where else?) and included a tower of espresso martinis (very “me, espresso”).

The espresso martini look extended to Bieber’s makeup, she might’ve moved away from her classic buttermilk palette, but the creamy neutrals were on full display elsewhere. Looking glossy as ever, Bieber opted for creamy eye tint with a flick of brown mascara and lashings of shimmery highlighter. To top it off, she wore her newly launched Rhode Beauty Cinnamon Roll Lip Tint. Now, maybe I’m looking too much into this, but I’m pretty sure I glimpsed some of the sweet pastries tucked behind the aforementioned espresso martini tower.

Launched in 2018, Nomade is one of Chloé’s more complicated fragrances, blending together zesty citrus notes, with juicy peach and a spicy woody base. If you asked me to pick my top 10 fragrances of all time, Chloé’s Orchidee de Minuit would be up there. Thick with rum spiced with amber and creamy with vanilla, as well as soft white florals, it’s blends all my favourite notes into one sumptuous fragrance. If you want a scent that smells sexy but not too sweet, this is it.

6. Chloé Love Story Eau de Parfum

Another excellent floral fragrance from Chloé, Love Story is a greener take on the original Chloé scent. Designed to embody Parisian romance, it smells both vibrant and comforting at the same time with a subtle hint of patchouli for a little added drama.

7. Chloé Nomade Nuit D’Egypte Eau de Parfum

Although this sits in the same family as the traditional Nomade scent, I’d argue Nomade Nuit D’Egypte offers a completely different experience. It’s warm and enticing, with notes of cinnamon and vanilla alongside delicate white florals. For me, this is a lovely evening holiday perfume, perfect for spritzing on bronzed, sun-warmed skin.

8. Chloé Naturelle Eau de Parfum

If you’re looking for a subtle take on a rose perfume, I’d definitely recommend giving Naturelle a go. Rather than whacking you over the head with the floral note, it instead creeps in alongside creamy sandalwood and earthy cedarwood to create a really interesting take on the classic scent. If you’ve been burned by sweet gourmand takes on rose, this is the antidote.

9. Chloé Atelier des Fleurs Tuberosa 1974 Eau de Parfum

Inspired by the first perfume Chloé launched back in 1974, Tuberosa 1974, once again displays the house’s love for single floral fragrances. This one is rich with powdery tuberose and heady spices which gives it an almost vintage quality. Even if you don’t like the note traditionally, it’s worth spritzing this for the nostalgia alone.
