Has the rodeo ever been so fashionable? I don't think so. Since last summer, all sorts of sartorial inspiration has been coming out of the South, and it's only set to ramp up when Beyoncé's Cowboy Carter concert tour commences later this month.

One trend we're going to see everywhere very soon is rodeo hair. Everyone from Maura Higgins and Sabrina Carpenter to Beyoncé has been rocking the style. It's an XXL take on bombshell hair, and it packs a punch.

"The comeback of rodeo hair is part of a bigger trend where people are embracing boldness, glamour, and volume in their hairstyles," Zoe Adams, international artist at Taylor Taylor London, tells me. "With vintage and retro styles making a comeback, rodeo hair gives a nod to classic Americana while still feeling fresh and modern. It’s a bold look that stands out, especially now when people love to express their individuality and make a statement with their style."

What is rodeo hair?

It's pretty simple. Rodeo hair is all about voluminous, textured hair that just exudes boldness and confidence. "This style typically features large, bouncy curls and a considerable amount of height, particularly at the crown. It’s a striking, glamorous look that blends a bit of wildness with intentional styling," explains Adams.

How to achieve rodeo hair

Prep is essential for this look, says Adams. "Start with freshly washed, damp hair. You should use a volumising shampoo to create a solid foundation for fullness, but opt for a lightweight conditioner to ensure the hair remains bouncy and doesn’t get weighed down. Using a root-boosting spray or mousse will add the necessary lift at the roots, which is key to creating the volume for this look."

Next, use a large-barrel curling wand to create the soft, bouncy curls associated with this look, or you can use a hairdryer with a round brush, which will provide similar results. When curling, wrap the hair around the barrel loosely to achieve soft waves with significant volume, rather than super-tight curls. "A texturising cream will add the perfect touch of texture and volume, while a firm-hold hairspray will help set the style in place without compromising its natural bounce," the hair stylist adds.

"Once you have curled your hair, gently flip your head upside down to shake the roots and emphasise the volume. The goal is to maintain an effortless, lived-in look while still keeping that fullness and bounce. For added drama, you can tease the crown of the hair with your brush to create extra height."

Adams adds that the most important thing to remember when styling rodeo hair is maintaining softness and movement. While achieving volume is key, you want to avoid making the hair too stiff and structured. If you’ve overdone it with the volume, use your fingers to break up the curls and create a more natural texture," she explains. If you need to refresh your style the following day, a bit of dry shampoo can add volume and texture, making it easier to restyle."

The best products for rodeo hair

As a beauty editor, you have to do a lot to get my attention when it comes to hair trends—primarily due to the sheer number of them that continue to appear. But one surefire way to secure my appreciation is to name a trend after food. Case in point? Crème Brûlée hair, which as a major foodie, reeled me in instantly with its name; the visuals evoke creamy, smooth, warm hues akin to the delicious dessert. But what exactly is this trend, and how does it differ from others that are similar?

What is Crème Brûlée hair?

While there are different iterations of the trend, this is largely one for the blondes.

"Blonde Brûlée hair is a warm, caramel toffee-toned blonde that has the perfect mix of golden and amber tones, creating a soft, sun-kissed glow. It gives off a rich finish without being too harsh," explains Jason Collier, key opinion leader at Jerome Russell Bblonde.

"It’s a sandy blonde root with creamy, biscuit blondes throughout," adds Hannah G, Colourist at Hershesons Belgravia. "[It's] the perfect balance of creaminess and warmth, creating a very expensive old money colour."

If you need visual references, Hannah says that for her, Lily-Rose Depp does this colour perfectly. Others who've done it beautifully include Beyonce and Ariana Grande.

Who does this trend suit?

If you're already blonde, chances are this will suit you. But for anyone who's yet to take the leap, Hannah says you're also in luck: "This colour has a version that suits everyone, depending on your colouring, eyes and features, and whether you want to go more creamy or for more warm/ beige tones."

Part of the reason Jason loves this trend so much is because of its versatility, meaning "you can create a bespoke hue," no matter who you are. "For example, it can have more golden or honey tones, or it can lean into a deeper bronze shade."

He adds: "Blonde Brûlée looks great on anyone with a warm or neutral undertone in their skin. It complements fair to medium skin tones too, and if you’ve got darker or olive skin, it can still pop with the right mix of highlights to bring out those richer toffee tones in the hair."

What should you ask for at the salon?

"You should ask for a glossy, dimensional colour," says Hannah. "Crème brûlée has depth and shine." Take the following pictures with you for reference.

As mentioned, if you are already blonde, this will be a quicker journey for you, but you can certainly make it work if your hair isn't already light. It may just be more of a process, and you'll need to work closely with your stylist to find the right shade.

Luckily though, once you have the crème brûlée effect, "it doesn't require much upkeep, and you'll be able to stretch any salon appointments with at-home touch-ups," according to Jason.

The long weekend is upon us, and while many Brits will likely be celebrating with lie-ins and weather-dependent trips to the seaside, tomorrow also marks a very special day in the 2024 calendar. It is, of course, the release of Beyoncé's country album, act ii - also being referred to as Cowboy Carter. 

With just hours to go until we can finally hear it, the track list for her eighth solo studio album has been shared online. Posting an illustration on Instagram which lists song titles as well as fellow artists, it seems we can expect a cover of Jolene, as well as a collaboration with Willie Nelson. But has she got another collab up her sleeve?

Beyoncé recently told her fans on social media: "I have a few surprises on the album, and have collaborated with some brilliant artists who I deeply respect." The new album details have since fuelled speculation that Bey and Lady Gaga - who last worked together 14 years ago - could be reuniting for the sequel of Telephone. Iconic. 

So, where have these rumours come from? The Beyhive noted that on the 11th February, Beyoncé released the first two tracks from act ii (Texas Hold 'Em and 16 Carriages). And what happens in the music video for Telephone? Gaga gets shipped off to jail on... the 11th February. Coincidence? Possibly. 

But there's more. Beyoncé's album announcement included a teaser video that sees her speeding off through the desert while a bunch of men stare open-mouthed at a poster of her. For those familiar with the end of the Telephone music video, Bey and Gaga are seen zooming off through the desert in cowboy hats, with a caption that reads: "To be continued...". 

Ahem.

And either Gaga is playing along with the internet's guessing game, or social media sleuths are actually on to something. This week she posted a photo on Instagram which included the Telephone cover art, and Bey's stylist Vance Gamble also posted a throwback of Gaga's infamous cigarette glasses.

Fans are keen to believe that it all means something, with one person writing on X, formerly Twitter: "Me sending Telephone part 2 theories to everyone in my contacts."

Beyoncé's foray into country music has already caused a stir, with Dolly Parton herself even coming to the star's defence following an onslaught of criticism. The irony, of course, is that Beyoncé was inspired to make act ii in response to the backlash she faced following her performance at the Country Music Awards in 2016. She joined the Chicks (formerly known as the Dixie Chicks) for a rendition of her song Daddy Lessons, and instantly faced a barrage of racist abuse.  

She wrote on Instagram: "This album has been over five years in the making. It was born out of an experience that I had years ago where I did not feel welcomed… and it was very clear that I wasn’t. But, because of that experience, I did a deeper dive into the history of Country music and studied our rich musical archive. It feels good to see how music can unite so many people around the world, while also amplifying the voices of some of the people who have dedicated so much of their lives educating on our musical history."

She continued: "The criticisms I faced when I first entered this genre forced me to propel past the limitations that were put on me. act ii is a result of challenging myself, and taking my time to bend and blend genres together to create this body of work."

Counting down the hours? Same.

Beyoncé and Taylor Swift are probably the two absolute biggest stars on the planet right now, so it's perhaps not surprising that there's an appetite for the singers to collaborate. But while this briefly seemed like a possibility, sadly rumours of such a collaboration have been nipped in the bud. Sob.

Earlier this week, Killah B - a producer who worked with Bey on her new hit song Texas Hold 'Em - was asked if the Beyhive could expect collabs on the superstar's upcoming album, Renaissance Act II, which she announced over the weekend. Reporters particularly mentioned Taylor, who is a friend of Beyoncé's and started out as a country singer (Bey's new record will be a country album, FYI).

"Let's just say she's on the approach of shocking the world," Killah B told TMZ, which was vague but seemed to point to a potential Taylor collab. However, a source immediately set hopeful fans straight, telling Entertainment Weekly that the Cruel Summer singer 'is not featured on Bey's new record in any way.'

Another reason why people have imagined a Bey/Tay collab could be on the cards is that the two women famously showed up to support each other last year, when both released a concert tour film — Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour and Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé respectively.

After Queen Bey showed up to Taylor's premiere last October, the Midnights singer wrote on Instagram: "I’m so glad I’ll never know what my life would’ve been like without @beyonce‘s influence. The way she’s taught me and every artist out here to break rules and defy industry norms. Her generosity of spirit. Her resilience and versatility. She’s been a guiding light throughout my career and the fact that she showed up tonight was like an actual fairytale."

The Grammys is one of the stand-out events of the award season calendar, and over the years there has been no shortage of memorable moments. 

This Sunday sees the 66th annual ceremony, and if this year's nominations are anything to go by, it is set to be a historic (and star-studded) evening.

Ahead of the awards, we're looking back at our favourite Grammy moments - from J-Lo's history-making Versace dress to Lady Gaga's iconic entrance in an egg. 

From a diva duo to that iconic Lady Marmalade performance, here are our most memorable Grammys moments... 

1. Jennifer Lopez's Versace dress

When we think of J-Lo, she's wearing this dress. J-Lo's green Versace dress is so iconic, it now has pride of place at the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles. 

As soon the triple threat stepped out onto the red carpet in 2000 the moment went down in history. We are not exaggerating when we say this dress is a part of history - it is the reason that Google image search exists.  

2. Diva duo

The 2008 Grammys marked the moment that Tina Turner gave her first public performance after an eight year hiatus. 

Beyoncé joined her on stage to perform Proud Mary - the very song which Turner won a Grammy for in 1972. Name a more iconic duo, we'll wait. 

3. Lady Gaga's egg entrance

Lady Gaga turning up to the 2011 Grammys in an egg, which is true Gaga fashion if we ever saw it. With a whole team carrying her across the red carpet, the Star is Born... or hatched. Gaga stayed in the semi see through egg the entire time, until her performance. 

4. Amy Winehouse's visa troubles (and incredible win)

The ceremony in 2008 hosted some of the most memorable Grammy moments. Remember Amy Winehouse's performance? You should do, as she fought hard to make it happen. The singer was unable to get a herself a work visa in time, but instead of disappointing her fans, Winehouse performed a set all the way from London. Yes, even though it was 3am. 

Here, Amy sits on stage while watching the Grammys on TV. She was awarded five out of six Grammy nominations that night, including song of the year and best female pop vocal performance. 

5. Adele dedicated her award to Beyoncé

Adele won Album of the Year in 2017, for her fan favourite album 25. But, she decided to dedicate it to Queen Bey instead. 

"I can’t possibly accept this award, and I’m very humbled, and I’m very grateful and gracious, but the artist of my life is Beyoncé," said Adele in her acceptance speech. 

Possibly the sweetest Grammys acceptance speech ever, and definitely one of the most memorable. 

6. Michelle Obama's surprise appearance 

Michelle Obama made a surprise appearance on stage, creating the line up of dreams. 

Joining the stage with Lady Gaga, Jada Pinkett Smith, Alicia Keys and Jennifer Lopez for the 61st Grammy Awards in 2019, she surprised everyone in attendance, sharing that "music always helped me tell my story."

7. Lady Marmalade live

In 2002, Christina Aguilera, Pink, Mya and Lil' Kim opened the boudoir doors on the Grammy stage to sing voulez-vous coucher avec moi? 

The robes, the costumes, not forgetting the vocals - this was equally as incredible as it is memorable. They were joined by the real Lady Marmalade herself, Patti LaBelle.

8. An unexpected pair 

Elton John and rapper Eminem created the most unexpected - albeit memorable - duo and performed together for the 43rd Annual Grammy Awards in 2001. Fans loved the crossover of two very different characters and genres, and it went down a treat.

Celebrity workouts are actually a much more obvious go-to when it comes to a good sweat sesh than you might think. Wondering why? Well, the rich and famous have the resources - and by resources, we largely mean money - to spend on some of the best personal trainers, coaches, and gym workouts in the business.

It's no coincidence that so many famous people boast such strong bodies - they've got trainers on hand to personally guide them through their sessions and push them when they don't feel like it. And if that's not exercise motivation, we don't know what is.

While we - sadly - can't help on that front, we can bring you some of the best celebrity workouts to try yourself. Investing in a personal trainer will only ever be a positive thing, but if you can't afford it (thanks, cost of living crisis) or still have a little gym anxiety around starting, our advice is: try one of these. 1. Victoria Beckham's Olympic weightlifting

Fun fact: former Spice Girls member and fashion designer Victoria Beckham has pivoted from being a cardio fan to trying Olympic lifting. While, as below, she still loves a hike in her free time, her go-to weekday workout is weight training.

As her trainer Bobby Rich explains, "it was becoming apparent to her that the benefits from her own training routines had become minimal. Despite spending daily 90+ minute sessions in the gym she was purely maintaining her fitness levels rather than improving in other meaningful ways. She was ready for a change.” She's now spending less time in the gym than ever but working out more efficiently: you can read all about her attitude shift, here.

Try it at home: You'll need between 35 and 90 minutes and, while you can weight train at home, Olympic lifting in particular will likely require a gym (if you're London based, our guide to the best gyms in London might help).

The workout: Olympic weightlifting is a form of strength training, but it actually takes some learning pre-starting. Our advice? Give one of Joe Wicks's weighted workouts a go, or, if you're really keen to learn, book a session with a PT.

2. Adele's strengthening Pilates

Adele's workout routine just about broke the internet when it was revealed that it - coupled with the buzzy Sirtfood Diet - had helped her lose a reported seven stone. And while many were quick to assume that the star went to extreme lengths for her new figure, Adele's personal trainer has previously said that the star's fitness success is all to do with balance, assuring us that 'getting skinny was never the goal.'

"This metamorphosis is not for album sales, publicity or to be a role model. She is doing it for herself and her son Angelo," Adele's former PT told Access Hollywood. 

Proof that Adele is partial to a pilates sweat sesh came in the form of her instructor, Camila Goodis, who was reportedly introduced to the singer through Robbie Williams and his wife Ayda Field (casual.)

Try it at home: All you'll need is a hand towel, 20 minutes set aside, and a smooth floor.

The workout: Do this a number of times through, aiming to increase your duration every day.

1. 2 room-length hand walks (using the towel to help glide your feet)
2. 14 quad slides (two on each leg)
3. 10 plank slides
4. 1 floor-length scoot (again using the towel under your bum to help you move)

Repeat this as many times as is challenging (ensuring to keep tension in your abs throughout), increasing the number of reps daily.

"I love Pilates as it's a low-impact workout that doesn't get you massively sweaty but does really challenge all those tiny muscles you so often neglect in your core, arms, and legs. 3. Ellie Goulding's weighted circuit

Ellie Goulding's long been an advocate for getting in regular gym workouts - she's spoken candidly in the past about how working out has given her both physical and mental health help, sharing: "Exercise makes me feel good about myself: it keeps me sane."

She's trained with loads of different pros, but shared with Vogue during lockdown that she'd been doing personal training sessions via Zoom with celebrity personal trainer Dan Roberts.

4. J-Lo's full body weighted intervals

Jennifer Lopez has always kept fit, as that iconic pole scene in Hustlers highlighted.

According to Hello! magazine, the star trains with PT David Kirsch, and often opts for high-intensity interval training. People, on the other hand, say she trains with trainer Tracy Anderson four to five times a week, training anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour - whatever she has time to do.

“She’s highly trained in picking up choreography, and she’s incredibly coordinated, so she can pick up things very quickly,” says Tracy. “She likes to be challenged, but she’s very, very aware of her body, and in one look to me can be like, ‘no that's not for me,’ and then I’ll move onto another move.”

Try it at home: Again, set aside an hour and do this three to four times through, remembering to take rest breaks.

The workout:

1. 8 to 10 reps of bicep curl
2. 8 to 10 lunges
3. 8 to 10 push ups
4. 8 to 10 kettlebell swings
5. 8 to 10 sitting hip thrusts

Finish with a few sprints to get your heart rate up et voila.

5. Beyonce's HIIT and weights hybrid

Beyonce is reportedly a fan of circuits, too, also opting for weight training. Weights are known to both challenge and tone your muscles, so is one of the best workouts for increasing your overall muscle mass.

She's believed to train with nutritionist and trainer Marco Borges, or so say Insider, and is seriously, seriously fit - she has to be, for the mega performances she puts on worldwide. Get ready for some burrrrn.

Try it at home: Much like J Lo, it's reported that Beyonce will workout for however long she has, so do what you can. Try three to four rounds of the below. As above: rest is also key.

The workout: According to a 2015 article from Glamour magazine, Bey's weekly workouts look a little like the following:

1. 8 to 10 explosive push ups
2. 8 to 10 rounds of 30 second sprints, pushing at an eight out of ten capacity
3. 8 to 10 kettlebell squat-and-presses
4. 8 to 10 single leg step ups
5. 8 to 10 ab crunches

6. Margot Robbie's Pilates

Not so keen on weights and circuits? Then you might want to try Margot Robbie's Pilates-inspired workout instead. It's not a sweaty high-intensity one - more of a low impact workout - but it'll strengthen your muscles over time, instead.

She's a great example of someone who leads a balanced lifestyle, once saying in an interview with The Telegraph: "I walk the line between having as much fun as possible and continuing to take care of myself. During lockdown, it's reported that actress Alba started training with fitness coach Aaron Hines. Lucky for us, she's shared her go-to workout on her YouTube channel, too.

8. Kate Middleton's cardio go-to's and core circuit

Kate is said to be a huge fan of most forms of cardio - that is, running, swimming, skating, rowing, and tennis. The best part: most of these workouts can be totally free, are fairly easy to do, and require no personal trainer knowledge. She is also said to train her core with personal trainer Louise Parker, according to The Daily Mail.

Try it at home: This one's a case of booking a slot at your local tennis court, swimming pool or simply lacing up and heading out for a jog. If that doesn't tickle your fancy, try this one-move core circuit. Hold for 45 seconds, and complete 10 rounds.

The workout:

1. Forearm plank: Keep your core tight, your shoulders retracted and your glutes fired up and close to the ground to avoid risk of injury.

Health Editor Ally Head's take? "I love running - I'm a marathon runner and don't think there's a better way of clearing your head than heading out for a jog. This gives a much fresher and cooler look to the style,” he says. 

How can we style feathered hair at home?

If you’ve had your feathered hair cut in by an expert then the styling at home should be surprisingly low-maintenance, all you really need is a round brush. “A large ceramic barrel brush combined with a blow dryer is one of the simpler ways to blow dry your own hair,” explains Tom. “It requires a little bit of dexterity, but the curve of the brush barrel should give just enough bend to create that feathered look.”

Hot tools are also a great option if you’re not as skilled in the blow-dry department. “For a more modern vibe, use a curling wand to create super relaxed waves in all directions,” suggests Neale. “Be sure to leave the last couple of inches out and allow them to remain straight, then finish with a styling cream.”

Harry Styles could be announcing an all-singing-and-dancing Las Vegas show very soon if the rumours are to be believed. The singer is reportedly 'in talks' to front an epic concert at Las Vegas venue, the MSG Sphere.

Taylor later posted a video of the pair on Instagram, calling Beyoncé her 'guiding light'.

What is bronde hair?

First things first, what actually is bronde hair? We spoke to Emma Vickery, Creative Director at Percy & Reed, who said: "Bronde is a colouring technique that fuses brown tones and blonde tones together to create a flattering, sun-kissed colour result.  

"If you've never had colour before or are afraid of colouring your natural hair, bronde could be the ideal technique to try as you can incorporate the tones of your natural hair colour with some lightened pieces."

We love this trend as it gives a really natural finish, and it's perfect for summer. If you are keen to try it out yourself, Vickery advises asking your hairdresser which tones would suit your skin tone best. "If you have a warmer skin tone, golden tones would work well, however if you have a cooler skin tone then ash colours usually sit better."

How to care for bronde hair

Once you've had your colour done, it's important to use the right products to keep it looking fresh for as long as possible. Vickery recommends the Percy & Reed Give Me Strength range to keep your hair feeling strong and hydrated, and also the Kérastase Blond Absolu range to keep the blonde tones looking fresh.

Last night, Louis Vuitton took over Paris (and Instagram feeds globally) with its Spring 2024 Menswear show. The runway marked a milestone for the brand as it was the debut collection for newly-appointed creative director Pharrell Williams. 

The star was appointed to helm the menswear arm of the French luxury house earlier this year, following the passing of Louis Vuitton's previous creative director, Virgil Abloh, in 2021. 

Unsurprisingly, the show was a star-studded affair, with Williams calling upon his A-list friends to sit front row. From Beyoncé and Jay Z, to Naomi Campbell, Zendaya, Jared Leto and Kim Kardashian, the show's guest list read like a who's who of both Hollywood and the music industry combined. 

As far as the fashion was concerned, Williams stayed true to the house codes, depicting a number of outfits in the brand's instantly recognisable checkerboard pattern.  He also reimagined the iconic print, creating a pixilated camo pattern that he himself wore while taking his final bow. 

The collection displayed both men's and womenswear, but offered a rather fluid approach to styling. For example, the look Rihanna wore to sit front row, was later seen on a male model when displayed on the runway. 

In terms of celebrity styling, A-list attendees were of course dressed head to toe in Louis Vuitton designs. Naomi Campbell opted for a Louis Vuitton monogrammed leather blazer and matching mini dress, while Zendaya sported a look from the brand's recent Resort 2024 collection. 

Kim Kardashian arrived wearing a crop top and leggings in the newly reimaged pixilated camo print, and Kelly Rowland opted for an oversize blazer and logoed trouser combination.

If you've been on Instagram in the last day, then you may have seen rumours swirling around about Beyoncé launching a hair care line, and it's safe to say that we are already getting excited.

It seems as if celebrity beauty brands are taking over at the minute. Take Hailey Bieber's skincare line, Rhode, which just launched in the UK. Everyone is talking about the products, and after trying them ourselves, we can confirm that they are totally worth the hype. 

So, if Beyoncé's own hair is anything to go by, we can expect incredible things from her hair care range. 

The singer first shared the news on social media, hinting that her own collection of products might be available soon.

In a photo posted to her Instagram account, Beyoncé could be seen styling her hair at her dressing table, with a range of sample bottles in front of her, that looked like various hair oils and conditioners. 

On the last slide, the star wrote: "How many of ya'll knew my first job was sweeping hair in my mama's salon? Destiny's Child got our start by performing for clients while they were getting their hair done. I was exposed to so many different kinds of entrepreneurial women in her salon. I saw firsthand how the ways we nurture and celebrate hair can directly impact our souls. I watched her heal and be of service to so many women. Having learned so much on my hair journey, I've always dreamed of carrying on her legacy. I can't wait for you to experience what I've been creating."

Although we don't yet have any information about what products will be available or when they will be launching, we are already counting down the days until we can get our hands on the range. 

It seems that we aren't the only ones. Many fans flocked to the comments section to share their excitement, with one person writing: "Whatever it is...I'm buying it!" Another hilariously wrote: "Take all my money."

Beyoncé, you've done it again.

Vinyasa yoga is arguably the one of the most popular types of yoga in the Western world - so much so, even Beyoncé is reported to be a fan. Not sure what the it actually entails or what sets it apart from other forms of the practice? Look no further.

As Angie Tiwari, yoga instructor and founder of Unearthed explains, "Vinyasa literally translates from the Sanskrit as to set down or place ("nyasa") in a special way ("vi")." During the practice, you move from one pose to the next in a style that originally came from Ashtanga yoga.

First made popular by a yogi named Sri Krishnamacharya, the workout now been practiced for hundreds of years, with plenty of studies backing Vinyasa yoga as a brilliant sweat sessions for working out both body and mind.

What is Vinyasa yoga?

As Tiwari explains, Vinyasa is rooted in Ashtanga yoga, a style based on movement. "Vinyasa is more dynamic and energising compared to a restorative yin practice, but not quite as strong as Ashtanga," she goes on. 

There are also less rules to Vinyasa - unlike Ashtanga, which is defined by its sequential style, Vinyasa is about flowing. In that sense, vinyasa yoga is one of the best yogas for beginners.

That said, it's still a great workout, shares Elodie Gythiel, yoga student and co-founder of livestream platform Live Yoga Teachers. "A Vinyasa class is physically demanding as there is no break between poses, so expect to work on your cardio and be sweating," says Gythiel. Not to mention, in a Vinyasa class, your breath is expected to guide your  practice, which adds a meditative element and improves physical performance.

"Flowey and upbeat, sometimes with a playlist in the background, Vinyasa poses are creatively linked together, making the flow look almost like a dance," Gythiel explains. That's as an alternative to stepping between poses, or holding positions for extended periods of time as in other yoga styles. 

A simple vinyasa flow involves sequences might begin by flowing between these yoga moves: 

• Downward facing dog
• Plank 
• Upward facing dog.

What are the benefits of vinyasa yoga?

As Vinyasa yoga is a physical yoga, there are big benefits to your body. A 2021 paper found that a single session of the yoga reduced cholesterol and arterial stiffness, while another paper from Oakland University found fitness levels and muscular strength increased, not to mention levels of the stress hormone cortisol decreased, after eight weeks of practicing. 

The same paper also found that self-acceptance and relationships with others were greatly improved after the eight-week course, and research from Brown University found that yoga improved mood by 23%. 

One of the most recent studies in Vinyasa yoga, published earlier this year in the International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health, found a 12-week course of vinyasa yoga significantly reduced sleep problems and stress in cancer patients. 

Summed up, it's been proven to boost:

• Reduced cholesterol
• Reduced stiffness
• Boosts fitness levels
• Improves muscular strength
• Reduces stress levels
• Boosts mental health 
• Improves mood
• Improves sleep quality.

How to do vinyasa yoga:

It's important to note here that with Vinyasa, there is no set sequence - rather, it's about listening to your body and enjoying flowing from pose to pose. 

That said, if you're a beginner, one of the best ways to get to grips with Vinyasa is by going to a class where a yoga teacher can lead you through poses and help to correct your form.

The Grammys 2023 buzz is still going strong thanks to some historical celebrity moments - whether it was Beyoncé's incredible wins, making her the biggest Grammy winner of all time, or Harry Styles and Taylor Swift's sweet reunion. 

Oh, and then there was this iconic Lizzo moment which her fans are absolutely living for. 

But one A-lister that got some unexpected attention on social media was none other than Ben Affleck. The actor attended the 65th Grammys Award ceremony in LA with his wife, Jennifer Lopez, and while J-Lo was spotted dancing, smiling and having a great time, Ben once again got the meme treatment thanks to his rather unimpressed and unenthused facial expressions. 

Twitter was awash with clips of the Gone Girl actor looking glum, sparking the Bored Affleck meme to add to his library of viral moments (think Stressed Affleck smoking in a doorway, Dunkin Donuts Affleck struggling with his takeaway order, and Sad Affleck looking blankly into the distance during an interview with Henry Cavill). 

However, eagle eyed viewers also noticed that there was a moment between Ben and J-Lo that appeared a little tense. 

The clip, which is currently circulating online, shows Ben whispering something to his wife, with J-Lo appearing a little irked and mouthing something back before he quickly adjusts his posture and sits up before they realise they're on camera. 

Fans were quick to comment on the clip, with one saying: "HER FACE WHEH SHE SAW THE CAMERA LOL."

Another added: "The camera men at the Grammys deserve extra pay. They got all the good shots."

Now, a lip reader has told the Daily Mail what they think the couple were saying to one another. 

They told the publication that J-Lo said: "Stop. Look more friendly. Look motivated."

Ben reportedly replied: "I might."

J-Lo and Ben have not commented publicly about the speculation just yet, but some fans believe that the moment has been blown out of proportion. 

One wrote: "I think he was just flirting with her and she told him to quit it."

The About Damn Time star won the Record of the Year award and performed on the iconic stage for every celebrity present, but we bet the best part was spending the evening with her long time idol IRL.

And if her reaction to Beyoncé's arrival is anything to go by, we doubt Lizzo even cared what was inside the luxury goodie bag this year, because Beyoncé.

The Break My Soul singer made history as the biggest Grammys winner of all time at the ceremony last night, and moved the audience with her touching acceptance speech. 

Although Beyoncé arrived just a tad late to the awards ceremony - which is totally fine when you are Beyoncé - her arrival did not go unnoticed. Lizzo's reaction is going viral and it is everything.

Host Trevor Noah stood by Lizzo and Adele's table (celebrity table of dreams?) and announced: "Beyoncé is in the room people". 

As he did, Lizzo reacted just as we all would, jumping out of her seat and trying to see the Queen of music through the crowd. 

As Noah continued to talk about her many nominations, Lizzo's face goes from the shocked face emoji, to pure awe and joy. 

Lizzo has been a long time stan of Beyoncé (aren't we all?) and even dedicated a part of her award to the Crazy in Love singer. Posting a snap of the pair to Instagram, Lizzo captioned it, "I won" - and we're pretty sure she means the photo with Beyoncé is the win.

We still can't believe this is their first official photo together!? But it's now a pretty iconic one.

The GRAMMYs 2023 was a night to remember, with a red carpet oozing gorgeous glam (looking at you, Harry Styles' rainbow jumpsuit) and Beyoncé making history as the biggest GRAMMYs winner of all time. 

One couple that fans were keen to keep an eye out for was Bennifer. Since Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez rekindled their romance almost twenty years after they split, it has sparked a new wave of nostalgic warmth for the now-married pair.

Another said: "However bad of a day you’re having, I promise you’re not as miserable as Ben Affleck at the Grammys right now."

In reference to the viral pictures of Ben struggling with his doughnut order, one user wrote: "Ben Affleck looks like he’d rather be at Dunkin."

The Gone Girl actor has inspired many an emotional meme over the years, kicked off by the 'Sad Affleck' clip of Ben sat staring blankly during an interview with Henry Cavill - which was later accompanied by Simon and Garfunkel's Sound of Silence. Still hilarious.

If Beyoncé even knew who we were, let alone casually texted us, we'd be beside ourselves - and Meghan Markle is exactly the same. 

The Duchess of Sussex, who is a big fan of the icon, revealed that she had texted her support during a new episode of the Netflix documentary, Harry & Meghan.

Their series, which has already broken a number of records for the streaming service, has hit the headlines since the first episodes aired last week, with Harry talking about his relationship with William, and Meghan revealing how the press got hold of the letter to her Dad which she says the Queen and Charles encouraged her to write.

The funniest moment however is just how shocked and excited Meghan is that Beyoncé 'even knows who I am' - while Harry teases her about it. 

In the last episode of the series, which has proved to be a massive hit with royal fans, Meghan says, sounding excited: "Beyoncé just texted."  

Harry, meanwhile, mocks her slightly saying: “Shut up.” 

The Halo singer texts Meghan just after their Oprah interview, in which they bravely spoke about why they left the royal family, and Meghan reads it out, telling Harry what the text says: “Just checking in.”

“Just checking in, so casual," Harry says, with Meghan adding: “I still can’t believe she knows who I am.” 

Harry insists that Meghan should: “Go and call her." 

But Meghan responds with: “No it’s okay. She said she wants me to feel safe and protected. She admires and respects my bravery and vulnerability, and thinks I was selected to break generational curses that need to be healed.” We love how supportive she is of her.

Harry seems to like Beyoncé's text as he says to Meghan: “That’s well said."

The public first saw them meet Beyoncé in 2019 when she and her husband Jay Z attended the Lion King premiere for which the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were the royal guests. 

According to reports on the night, when Beyoncé met Meghan and kissed her on the cheek she said to her: "We love you guys." 

They also offered the Sussexes advice, as they couple had just become parents - telling them to 'take time for themselves'.

The Grammys 2023 red carpet has begun and outfits are so extra, they give the Oscars red carpet a run for its money. A-listers have descended upon the Crypto.com Arena in Downtown Los Angeles for the event, and what a turnout it has been.

Whether on purpose or not, everyone seems to have gotten the fashion memo, since the Grammys outfits seemed to fall into a few of this season's major trends including Barbie pink and 3-D flower appliques.

Finally, there were sequins aplenty (as per every red carpet dress code in the world), and Viola Davis took the theme to heart in a gown which featured colour-blocked sequins and additional fringing.

Beyoncé unveiled a brand new super-short pixie crop hairstyle on Instagram last night.

The superstar, who concluded her Mrs Carter World Tour with a final, incredible performance at the Barclays Centre in Brooklyn on Tuesday night, decided to chop her famous mop of curls off as she embarks on a short break from performing.

The singer posted a series of beautiful snaps to the picture-sharing site last night, unveiling her super-short crop – and it looks STUNNING. We can't help but think Mrs Carter will feel relieved to have such a low-maintenance hairstyle with a young daughter and a busy schedule, though we're unsure if she'll keep it for her huge gig at the Virgin Media V Festival next weekend.

Beyoncé shared the the pictures of her new shorter do' just moments after the big chop, showing off the gorgeous bleached blonde cut in front of the mirror. Admiring her new reflection, the star pouts away while stroking her very short tresses. Doesn't she look beautiful? If anyone can pull off a radical hair makeover, it's Queen B.

The star will take to the Virgin Media V Festival stage next weekend in Chelmsford, and this lady's known for her head-banging and hair-throwing performances, so we're intrigued to see whether she opts to wear a wig for her headline set. Or perhaps she was wearing a wig all along? Who knows. One thing's certain, though – we've never wanted to cut our hair so much.

Everyone needs a friend like Beyoncé – the superstar has offered her congratulations in a post on her official website

Beyoncé rarely takes to social media or her official website to voice an opinion, that is, unless it's for a really special occasion like the birth of her friend's child.

The singer and mum-of-one posted a message to her official website last night to offer her love, support and congratulations to Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, who welcomed their baby girl a month early over the weekend.

Beyoncé posted an intimate black and white picture of the pair to her site with the message 'Congratulations' inscribed on it. Along with the date, the message reads 'Congrats to Kim & Kanye. Congratulations Kim & Kanye enjoy this beautiful moment together - Beyoncé.'

We're betting Beyoncé has also sent a pile of expensive gifts and flowers along to the new parents, too.

The new arrival was delivered at the private Cedars Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles, and is said to look 'just like' her famous mum.

But Kim Kardashian's baby name of choice is yet to be released.

Kim's proud sister Khloe Kardashion-Odom took to Twitter yesterday to voice her own message of support, saying: 'I can not even begin 2 describe the miracle that is now apart of our family. Mommy/baby are healthy & resting. We appreciate all of the love.'

She added: 'More info will come when the time is right! Thank you all for understanding! We love you all dearly! Overwhelmed with love right now.'

We'll bring you more baby news as soon as it lands. In the meantime, let's just imagine what those A-list coffee mornings are going to look like...

She may be pregnant, but there’s certainly no stopping Beyonce. The blooming beauty showed off her growing baby bump in not one, not two, but three dazzling ensembles as she hit the shows at New York Fashion Week yesterday.

First up, Ms Knowles stunned J-Crew staff by putting in a last-minute appearance at their NYC show, arriving with just minutes to spare on the arm of her sister Solange.

Showing off her newly rounded figure in a loose-fitting sequinned wrap dress and nude patent heels, Beyonce was positively glowing as she beamed for the cameras.

Quick change and Queen Bey stepped out again, this time in a nude strapless mini - complete with bump-skimming puffball skirt and towering platform heels – to attend Vera Wang.

It’s thought the pregnant singer and sister Solange hit the Rodarte catwalk show next, before Bey squeezed in her third and final outfit of the day – a flowing, full-length black gown – to attend Tory Burch’s store opening in the city.

Phew!

The star bizarrely admitted to creating dance moves for Beyonce

Rapper Jay-Z has taken credit for Beyonce's Single Ladies dance, claiming he choreographed it himself.

The diva's hubby was appearing on the Jonathon Ross show when he made the startling admissions.

He praised his lovely wife's shows, saying: ‘She's a magnificent performer,' but explained that she couldn't be in London with him as she was busy with her tour.

He then went on to talk about Bea's dance moves, claiming he was behind some of her most well known routines.

But luckily we don't think he was telling the truth.

‘The Crazy in Love 'Uh-oh' dance, I started that.' he joked.

‘I actually created that dance from Single Ladies. That was me again. I said, 'You should do this [the hand-wave motion],' and she did it. I wouldn't really tell anybody. It's what you asked me, so I don't want to make it seem like I'm making myself more important.'

He also admitted stealing routines from his superstar wife, but we just can't imagine it somehow!

The notoriously private rapper seemed in a great mood all evening, joking with Jonathon and the audience.

‘You're my guy,' he laughed to Ross. ‘Obama. You.'
