Alesha Dixon (born 1978) is famous for being an MC with Mis-Teeq until the trio separated in 2005. After a couple of quiet years, Alesha became a contestant on Strictly Come Dancing...and won! She went on to release The Boy Does Nothing and Breathe Slow, which earned her a Brit Award nomination.In 2009, Alesha nabbed the gig as a judge on Strictly Come Dancing, replacing Arlene Phillips but after three years, she quit to become a judge on Britain's Got Talent.She's also a judge for the Avon UK and Women's Aid Empowering Women Awards in association with Marie Claire. Sophie, Countess of Wessex was born Sophie Rhys-Jones in 1965. The wife of Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex, Sophie started out in PR and worked for Capital Radio before setting up her own public relations agency, RJH Public Relations, which she ran with her business partner, Murray Harkin. She met Prince Edward and the couple got engaged in January 1999. They married in June of the same year at at Windsor Castle - making the do a less grand affair than the nuptials of Edward's older siblings, which were formal events held at Westminster Abbey or St Paul's Cathedral. Dannii Minogue has always been something of an over-achiever. The Australia's Got Talent and former X Factor judge has been a singer (just like big sister Kylie) as well as an actress (who can forget her stint on Home & Away?) a presenter and a model - most famously for Marks & Spencer. She branched out into fashion in 2010 setting up her own label, Project D - and we've been lusting after her form-fitting, super-flattering dresses every since. Dannii has been romantically linked to Formula One driver Jacques Villeneuve as well as Bros bassist Craig Logan (remember him?) and even X Factor boss Simon Cowell. In 2008, Dannii began dating model and ex-rugby star Kris Smith and in 2010 the coupled had their first baby, Ethan. But in April 2012, Dannii told fans on Twitter that her and Kris had split up, saying: 'It brings me great sadness to tell you that Kris & I have separated.' So what's next for Miss Minogue? Dianna Agron, born in 1986, is best known for her portrayal of Quinn Fabray in FOX's hit TV show, Glee. She's also appeared in CSI: NY, Veronica Mars and Heroes. In 2010, Dianna played Natalie in the movie Burlesque with Christina Aguilera and Cher and she was named one of People magazine's Most Beautiful 2010 (not a bad year then, Di!). Diets don't have to be difficult. Downton Abbey was first beamed into our homes in September 2010, as ITV tried their hand at producing a period drama to rival the BBC. Little did they know the it would become such a hit. Within weeks, it had become clear the British public had fallen in love with the 1912, Highclere Castle-set show, about the lives of the aristocratic Gratham family and their staff, living in their sprawling Yorkshire home. And we weren't the only ones who loved it. Downton soared stateside, too, notching up an array of impressive awards, including a Golden Globe and several BAFTAs, and becoming the most nominated non-US show in Primetime Emmy history. Golden Globe winning actress, director, writer and producer, she made her TV debut at just 11 months old and landed her first film role aged five. Famous for her oh-so-cute turn as everyone's favourite little sister in ET, Drew found growing up in the limelight tough at tines and has admitted to drug and alcohol problems during her wild-child phase. Drew's love-life has been equally dramatic. Eddie Redmayne first caught our attention in a string of stunning television adaptations, including Tess of the D'Ubervilles, Birdsong and Pillars of the Earth, before making his debut on the silver screen.As his star rose, roles in My Week With Marilyn and Les Miserables (who knew the boy could sing?!) quickly followed, putting him firmly on the Hollywood map, while his appearance alongside Cara Delevingne in Burberry's 2012 ad campaign drew him followers in the fashion world. It's the event we've all been waiting for. After an amazing 15 year build up, the London 2012 Olympics are about to begin. And we could not be more excited. As London prepares for the big event, which takes place between 27 July and 12 August, a whopping 10,000 athletes have already begun to descend on the capital. With a sparkling new 500 acre Olympic Zone, which includes the Olympic stadium, Aquatic centre and Velodrome (among other venues), and many other centres dotted around London, the capital's sporting facilites sure are a sight to behold. And with Oscar-winner Danny Boyle planning an opening ceremony to end all opening ceremonies to get the Olympics off to a sizzling start, we're sure London 2012 will be better than ever. Let the games begin!

Marion Cotillard was born in Paris and grew up in the town of Orleans. The stunning French actress got her big break with La Vie en Rose, for which she won the Best Actress Oscar in 2007 - making it only the second time - the first went to Sophia Loren - the award had ever gone to a non-English speaking role. She's since gone on to star in movies such as Big Fish, A Good Year, Public Enemies, Nine, Inception, Midnight in Paris, and Contagion. Marion leads a quiet personal life, rarely appearing in the tabloids, and is happily living with her actor boyfriend Guillaume Canet with whom she has a son called Marcel.

The Met Ball, or the Costume Institute Gala as it's officially called, is the Oscars of the fashion world. The annual gala celebrates the opening of the Metropolitan Museum's (The Met) fashion exhibition at the Costume Institute in New York but the red carpet bash attracts the great and the good of Hollywood. Who can forget the Met Ball 2011 where Madonna (pictured) shared a table with Sir Paul McCartney, Stella McCartney and Marc Jacobs, or Lady Gaga's Met Ball performance? Fashion's favorite darling Alexa Chung is the epitome of British cool. She began modelling at 16 and went on to front campaigns for the likes of Sony and Urban Outfitters before appearing in several music videos for artists including The Streets, Westlife and Holly Valance. Myleene Klass (born 1978) rose to fame as a member of Hear'Say (remember them?) - but she was already an accomplished classical musician. She comes from six generations of classical musicians on her father's side and learned the piano and violin from the age of four, picking up the harp (as you do) at the age of 12. After Popstars and Hearsay, Myleene was snapped up as a TV presenter, first on CD:UK then on The One Show and 10 Years Younger. After a stint on I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! in 2006 (and the infamous white bikini shots) she landed a multi million pound modelling contract with M&S.Myleene got together with former bodyguard Graham Quinn back in her Hear'Say days and the couple have two children, Ava born in 2007 and Hero born in 2011. Cheeky chappies Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson were all competing on the seventh series of The X Factor when Simon Cowell suggested that they join up to form a group and One Direction was born. The boys came third in the reality TV series contest before being signed to Simon Cowell’s record label Syco Records. They later signed onto Colombia Records in North America. Their debut album Up All Night, released in November 2011, became the fastest-selling debut album of 2011 in the UK and in 2012, the album debuted at number one on the US, making One Direction the first UK band in history to debut at number one with their first album. Prince Harry - born Henry Charles Albert David in 1984 - is a member of the British Royal Family. Titled the Duke of Sussex, he is fifth in line to the throne behind his older brother, Prince William, his nephew, Prince George, his niece, Princess Charlotte, and his youngest nephew, Prince Louis. Originally deemed the 'wild child' of the Royal Family, he joined the military in 2005 and began training as an Officer Cadet. He left the army in June 2015, ranking as Captain, and met his now-wife Meghan Markle a year later. The couple married in 2018 and have two children together, Archie and Lilibet. After stepping down from their royal roles in 2020, they relocated to the US where they now live with their two young children.

Born in 1982 to the late Princess Diana and the now-King Charles III, William has gone on to become one of the most popular and well-respected royals of our generation. After finishing university - where he met his future wife, Kate Middleton - he went on to train at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, and in 2009 he joined the RAF Search and Rescue Force. The couple lived in Anglesey, North Wales, for three years, and married in 2011 with more than 300 million people across the world watching them say 'I do'.
