After all this time? Always.

Daniel Radcliffe previously praised Alan Rickman as ‘one of the greatest actors I will ever work with,’ following the sad news of his death earlier this year.

The 27-year-old actor shared a touching memory of his late Harry Potter co-star whilst on tour promoting his film, Imperium.

In an interview with The Metro, he said: ‘My favourite night I ever spent with Alan was a night after Equus (the play where Harry whipped his wand out) in London.’

‘I went out with Alan and Rima and Richard Griffith and Heather, which is now a very bizarre thing because both men have passed away.’

Daniel explained: ‘I’d always been quite intimidated by Alan, who I loved and who was always very generous with me, but I was still kind of scared of him.’

’Suddenly I was out to dinner with him and I was watching him be funny, self-deprecating and vulnerable. It was lovely.’ He added.

Daniel and Alan first met on the set of Harry Potter and The Philosophers Stone, which was released back in 2001. They continued to work together up until the release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part Two, in 2011.

Having grown up on set with the actor, Daniel has previously spoken out about the support Alan offered throughout his career.

‘He was so encouraging of me both on set and in the years post-Potter,’ said Radcliffe. ‘I’m pretty sure he came and saw everything I ever did on stage.’

In his interview with The Metro, Daniel added:  ‘I like to talk about those moments of Alan as a human being because everyone knows what a great actor he was. They don’t need me to tell them.’

It's all just too much to handle.
