Shia Labeouf wedding

Bonkers, but wonderful...

Hula dancers, an Elvis impersonator and a Las Vegas chapel – if there was ever anyone who you could rely on to have the mother of all weddings, it’s Shia Labeouf.

The 30-year-old Transformers star married his long-term girlfriend Mia Goth earlier this week and luckily for us, he decided to live stream the whole thing...

In true Labeouf style, the marriage took place in Viva Las Vegas, a chapel known for its themed weddings, from the generic gangster and gladiator to the bizarre Alice Cooper package.

And of course, in order to make sure his own wedding was anything but predictable, Shia decided to mix the Elvis and Hawaiian themes together in his own unique, completely bonkers blend.

Rocking up to the wedding in a pink Cadillac driven by an Elvis impersonator, Mia started the proceedings in style, wearing a lace white mini dress for the ceremony.

Meanwhile, Shia shocked everyone by wearing… a suit. Who’d have thought he’d be such a traditionalist?! Although he did keep it offbeat by pairing it with white trainers.

While the Elvis impersonator officiated the ceremony and a hula dancer watched on, Shia even shed a tear as he married his 23-year-old fiancée Mia. Sweet.

As Shia choked up, the couple promised to ‘adopt one another’s hound dogs, not to wear their blue suede shoes in the rain and to give each other a hunk, a hunk of burning love’. Because, obviously.

The couple, who started dating back in 2012, met on the set of controversial art house drama Nyphomaniac: Vol II. Three years later they were engaged, and in March 2015 Mia was spotted out and about wearing a huge round-cut diamond ring.

But after the couple has the mother of all public fights in Germany back in July, it was touch and go as to whether the wedding was still on. Luckily it was – or at least so we assume. As E! points out, Shia is rather partial to a bit of performance art and so far there’s no official documentation of them marrying.

Either way, we were glued to our screens. And if it does turn out to be a hoax? Just imagine what his ACTUAL wedding will be like…
