See all the stars turn out for the world premiere of Mamma Mia!

It was an all-star cast who made an appearance on the blue, not red, carpet at last night's world film premiere of smash hit musical Mamma Mia! in London's Leicester Square.

Meryl Streep wowed the crowds in a belted bright red satin coat with a plunging neckline and oversized shades. She was joined by former Bond man Pierce Brosnan, accompanied by his wife, Keely Shaye Smith.

The movie's producer, Tom Hanks, was all smiles for the waiting crowds as he stepped into the makeshift Greek paradise - full of fake lemon trees and a church - that Leicester Square was transformed into to resemble the location of the film.

Homegrown talent in the form of Colin Firth and Julie Walters also greeted fans, accompanied by Abba classics which blasted out around the square.
