Home Hotel, Argentina
By i-escape.com on Monday 23 February 2009
It's no mistake that Home Hotel pampers you like a good friend. The hotel was designed for 25 close friends planning to fly in for the wedding of London record producer Tom Rixton and Argentine Patricia O’Shea.
Frustrated by the lack of suitable lodging in Palermo Viejo where Patricia grew up, the couple recognised 'a huge opportunity.' They bought a furniture factory in an area newly dubbed Palermo Hollywood and created a 'home away' with details their friends love.
'We want to surprise people with different combinations of textures and tastes,' Patricia says.
The result: a well-orchestrated feast for all five senses. Eighteen sleek rooms and suites are filled with natural light, decorated with vivid colours, and blooming with fresh flowers and vintage wallpapers.
A fragrant garden surrounds, where mint is handpicked for your mojito or spa treatment. Tapas and inventive cocktails are served by candlelight.
Johnny Cash and Billie Holiday classics blend with tango tunes. And smiling multilingual staff literally embrace you with personal attention.
Home Hotel, Argentina is a boutique hotel with 18 rooms with doubles costing from US$115 for bed and breakfast.
