Ghost Is Not Real by Husky Rescue

Hailing from Helsinki, Husky Rescue is the brainchild of Marko Nyberg, who wanted to make music strongly influenced by film and photography. With Ghost Is Not Real, Nyberg has succeeded in creating a richly evocative record, densely packed with sliding guitars and haunting vocals. Atmosphere doesn't come at the cost of melody, however, as each track is able to stand alone, deeply textured but always with a discernable tune. A tempting mix of blonde hair, edgy clothes and seductive vocals, singer Reeta-Leena promises to become a style icon.
