Personality by The Sleepy Jackson
The last time Marie Claire encountered Luke Steele, he was sporting a rather fetching black moustache and aqua green eyeliner. He looked like Madonna with weird hormone shots. Scary. Luke is The Sleepy Jackson and the really strange thing is that he sounds like a smooth cross between classic Beatles and Beach Boys and writes the absolute swooniest choruses. He's from Perth in Australia – which may or may not have anything to do with it. Sunshine on tap.
