Marie Claire Film Review: Eagle Eye Empire

Eagle Eye stars Shia LaBeouf, Michelle Monaghan

A high-concept Hollywood thriller that gets more ludicrous with every passing minute, Eagle Eye stars LaBeouf and Monaghan as unwitting members of the public caught up in a conspiracy to assassinate the president. With some serious action scenes well marshalled by director D.J. Caruso, as a big dumb popcorn movie it ticks all the right boxes, but don’t go expecting the next North by Northwest.
