Meryl Streep steals the show in this summer's big musical hit

Starring Meryl Streep, Pierce Brosnan

ABBA aficionados rejoice: Benny and Björn's smash stage musical hits the big screen in a sing-a-long film as sunny as its Aegean setting. The story of a bride searching for her real father cut to the Swedish supergroup's classic hits, its true pleasure lies in seeing the likes of Pierce Brosnan and Colin Firth burst into song. No surprises, though: as her belting rendition of The Winner Takes It All suggests, Meryl Streep walks away with the movie.
