Woody Allen continues his English theme in this crime tale

Starring Ewan McGregor, Colin Farrell

What's with Woody Allen and the English? If the upper-crust characters of Match Point felt like Merchant-Ivory extras, in this latest study of crime and punishment, his working-class Londoners speak like Dick Van Dyke in Mary Poppins. This aside, while hardly vintage Allen, this tale of two brothers (McGregor and Farrell) coerced into murdering their uncle's business partner ticks along with his usual Swiss-watch precision.
