Testimony by Anita Shreve
By Eithne Farry on Tuesday 30 September 2008
In a departure from her usual domestic dramas, Anita Shreve describes the ruinous consequences of a scandal at an elite New England boarding school. After an alcohol-fuelled dance, a series of explicit sexual encounters take place in a dorm which are filmed and downloaded onto the net. A chorus of voices – the headmaster, those involved and a reporter – then offer their perspectives on how things unfolded. Grippingly good.

Great read, told in a variety of ways which add to the story.
