George Davies has a problem – he can’t bring himself to hold his newborn son

The solution? A spot of gentle therapy, but given that this debut is a blend of creepy literary horror and taut psychological thriller, things don’t quite go to plan. In the sessions he begins to recall the  imaginary pal whose whispered suggestions encouraged his youthful violent behaviour. And then there’s the group of bonkers family friends who decide he’s possessed…
