Apparently, there are quite a few ways to work out if you're a psychopath. If you're friends with your ex, you could be a psychopath. The way you yawn can also be a giveaway. And if your partner usually orders this type of coffee - guess what? They're a psychopath.

Obviously, take it all with a pinch of salt - but another study has come to light after revealing that there are two pop songs that psychopaths enjoy the most, so if you find they appear on almost all of your Spotify playlists - well, maybe keep it to yourself.

A study by the New York University asked 200 people to listen to 260 different songs. They then assessed the individuals, and those who scored highly on the psychopath test tended to prefer the same two songs. What are they? Blackstreet's No Diggity, and Eminem's Lose Yourself.

That's right - people who like the 90's R&B classic, and the theme tune from Marshall Mather's biopic 8 Mile may have psychopathic tendencies. Which counts for pretty much everyone, right?

The Guardian reports that the scientists behind the study warn that the results are 'preliminary and unpublished', but it has piqued interested and now the relationship between psychopaths and their musical tastes is being further explored.

Lead researcher Pascal Wallisch said: 'The media portrays psychopaths as axe murderers and serial killers, but the reality is they are not obvious; they are not like The Joker in Batman.

'They might be working right next to you, and they blend in. They are like psychological dark matter.'

However, if your favourite tunes include The Knack's My Sharona and David Guetta's Titanium, then rest assured you are not a psychopath, as they ranked lowest with the same individuals.

Interesting.
