Megan Stammers, a 15-year-old schoolgirl on the run with her maths teacher, has been found in Bordeaux and taken into protection.
The teenager fled the UK last week after her school began investigating her affair with married teacher and musician Jeremy Forrest, 30.
She was found this afternoon at 12.15 and taken into protection.
Forrest has been arrested on suspicion of child abduction.
According to Sussex Police, who are investigating the case, the pair were found 'safe and well'.
Forrest could face five years in jail if he is found guilty of abduction by taking a child abroad without parental consent.
