EL James, the author of literary sensation Fifty Shades of Grey, has admitted she wants to make a cameo appearance in the hotly-anticipated film of her book.
She told US broadcaster Katie Couric she had written a part based on herself in the saucy books, adding: 'I play a very tiny cameo role and I might try and do that if I'm asked to... we'll see. It'd be interesting to know if people can find me in the books.'
Earlier this week James revealed she had drawn up a shortlist of seven actors and actresses she would like to take on the main roles.
Casting for the roles is a hotly-discussed topic, with Ryan Gosling current favourite to play the lead role of billionaire Christian Grey.
