Pippa Middleton’s bum inspires plastic surgery boom

Weddings are supposed to be all about the bride - and the Duchess of Cambridge looked picture perfect when she married her prince - but it was sister Pippa Middleton 's bottom that has continued to hit the headlines.

So much so that the 27-year-old has sparked a wave of plastic surgery requests since appearing in a figure-hugging Alexander McQueen gown as maid of honour at the royal wedding.

‘Once the breast implants reigned supreme, now it is the buttocks that are considered a woman’s best asset,’ says Miami-based celebrity plastic surgeon Dr Constantino Mendieta.

Forget the longstanding bootylicious celebrities such as Jennifer Lopez and Beyonce who used to be top of Dr Mendieta’s list of requests, Miss Middleton has the bottom all women envy.

‘The latest craze here in the US and all over the world is to get the Pippa Butt Lift,’ she says. ‘Ever since the royal wedding, Pippa Middleton has become the new queen of the booty.’



And it’s not just her bottom that every girl wants to covet, but her nose has also won her admirers across the pond, challenging those of actress Nicole Kidman and singer Ashlee Simpson as the perceived ideal.

‘People ask for what they see, and they are seeing a lot of the Middleton girls,’ says Dr Richard W. Fleming of the Beverly Hills Institute in LA. ‘Pippa has a curvaceous yet lean body so we’re getting lots of requests from patients asking for liposuction and body contouring to get the Pippa Body.’
