Michelle Obama denies baby rumours

Michelle Obama has laughed off recent rumours that she is about to add to the US presidential family.

The First Lady denied that she was expecting during an interview with chatshow queen Oprah Winfrey.

There has been recent speculation that Michelle may be pregnant after she was snapped with a 'baby bump'.

In the interview with O Magazine, Oprah wastes no time in quizzing her over the rumours.

'Well, you look better than ever – despite the rumours that you’ve got a baby bump,' says Oprah.

Michelle laughs, then says, 'I know - I was like, "Baby bump? As hard as I work on my abs?”!'

The president’s wife then squashes any rumours that she may even be planning another child.

'Here's the scoop. Not pregnant. And not planning on it,' she says.

Although she is not pregnant, Michelle will soon be dealing with another mouth to feed in the White House.

The Obamas are planning to adopt a rescued Portuguese water dog in April – the puppy the president promised to his daughters for their support during his campaign.

She looks pregnant in a lot of pictures I have seen of her recently. Maybe she is just denying it like a lot of celebrities do but then will make the baby announcement.
