Twitter is officially the latest social networking site you should be joining. Need proof? Barack Obama, Demi Moore and Britney are among its most famous users.

Forget Facebook and MySpace, Twitter is apparently the new way to reveal your musings to the world. Stephen Fry even ‘twittered’ while stuck in a lift.

The stats speak for themselves: the microblogging service has experienced a huge traffic surge of 974% in the last year, garnering fans from Jennifer Aniston to Scarlett Johansson who want to share their daily lives with… us!

That’s right, the beauty of Twitter is the stalking potential. Rather than wait to make friends with someone, on Twitter you can simply become a ‘follower’ of any celeb out there. We know, dangerous.
