Afrikids is to release an inspiring and moving documentary, which captures their innovative and life-changing work in Africa.

The unique organisation has been working for several years to try and give the local communities in Ghana the chance to build a sustainable future.

The documentary, How to Make a Difference in Africa, charts the progress of a number of the charity's heart-warming projects.

Filmed by Emmy and Bafta award-winning journalist Sorious Samura, the programme meets the young children helped by Operation Mango Tree.

This project was born when Afrikids came across Mama Laadi, a selfless woman who, despite being homeless herself, would take children from the street and find them foster families.

The charity found a home for her and over 35 children which has enabled them to slowly rebuild their lives.

Take a look at a clip of the documentary which will air on the Community Channel at 9pm on Monday 2nd February.
