Why women prefer stubble

The myth that women prefer their men clean-cut has been blown out the water by new research saying that stubble on a man is much more attractive.

Clean-shaven men like Jude Law and David Beckham should take note after a poll of British women voted men with stubbly chins as tough, mature, aggressive, dominant and masculine.

Women agreed that men with a five o'clock shadow - from George Clooney to Johnny Depp - were the best partners - either for a short fling or marriage.

By contrast, clean-shaven men were the less popular choice as a long-term partner and scored poorly for masculinity, dominance, aggression and sexual maturity.

Scientists are unsure of the reason for a hairier preference, but experts on human evolution say it may be a sign of aggression as it boosts the size of the lower jaw, emphasizing the teeth as weapons.

God no - where on earth did this come from - they certainly haven't asked any of the women I know!
I cannot stand stubble on a man. These women are clearly referring only to men they can look only and not to the men in their lives that they actually kiss!

I totally disagree - it's painful to kiss and make out with a guy with stubble on his face, I hate the look of Jake Gylenhaal with a beard lately and much prefer George Clooney cleanshaven - all of them.

WHEN is DAVID BECKHAM is a clean-shaven man? 8 years ago? Even during that time he had a little stubble under his chin! Did you really watch what you wrote? JOHNNY DEPP is the one who is CLEAN-SHAVEN (he appeared only not long ago with a SMOOTH CHIN at MTV Movie Awards 2008) and David Beckham is the one with a LOT MORE THAN A MERE STUBBLE! HE EVEN HAS THIN BEARD for God sake!

Actually all Johny Depp is able to grow is seen in this picture. Really pathetic, he is no real man.
