The perfect woman
Want to become the perfect wife? Well, you're allowed to argue with your beloved, but you'd better be able to cook, too.
New research claims that although a woman's role in the home has evolved over the past 50 years, men still believe the most important skill a woman can have is the ability to cook.
However, men don't want a total doormat. In fact, 59% say they would respect a woman who could stand up to them and 69% want their wife to manage the family finances.
The poll, which was based on a Fifties handbook called the Good Wife's Guide, was conducted on behalf of the Ideal Home Show - and investigated both what men want, and their better halves' desires.
Some results were more surprising than others. For instance, although 65% of women thought they were expect to do the household chores by themselves, 75% of men thought they should be shared equally.
What do you think? Should men expect their wives to cook for them, or should the chef's hat be shared in an equal marriage? Leave your views on the form below.

Have breasts = should cook? I don't think so, any more than have willy = should do DIY. Why are we even having this discussion in 2008?
