Glade 2012: From single stage to sell out festival

With an incredible site and ground breaking lineup over 14 stages, Glade has become a must-do for every eager festival goer.  

With burning stages, 3D sound systems, Woodland parties and a 24-hour venue license, Glade 2012 has rocketed from it’s roots as an electronic dance music stage at Glastonbury.



And this year the award-winning Secret Productions team will by adding a bit of Secret Garden Party magic to the four-day proceedings at Houghton Hall, Norfolk to create the UK countryside’s very own electric Eden.

The enchanted woodland and open parkland will accommodate impressive art installations, circus and cabaret, while showcasing DJ’s, live acts and emerging talent from around the world.

Born as a festival in it’s own right in 2004, Glade won Best Dance Festival at the UK Festival Awards in 2008 and is set to attract 10,000 first time Gladers and seasoned veterans from 14 to 17 June.

Not forgetting where it started, Glade will host Glastonbury’s legendary institution, The Rabbit Hole as well as famous Secret Garden Party favourites including the Feast of Fools and the Artful Badger.
