The hottest event in music and film

A major collection of world-class musicians and classic silent films is coming to Kings Place

A major collection of world-class musicians and classic silent films is coming to London’s Kings Place summer, for what promises to be one of the season’s hottest events.

Launched by Birds Eye View – an organisation which celebrates women filmmakers the world over – the Sound & Silents programme unites creative excellence in music and film with specially written scores performed to silent movies.

Combining cutting edge female artists and iconic leading ladies – Greta Garbo and Gloria Swanson to name but a few – the events, set in major arts Venue, Kings Place will certainly be something to behold.

There will also be a Women Make Music panel discussion, hosted by Miranda Sawyer with Kate Nash, Speech Debelle, Alison Goldfrapp, Rachel Portman, Mira Calix, and Janis Susskind.

What better way to spend a lazy summer evening than watching a seriously stylish silent film, accompanied by up-and-coming new music?

And the best bit is that you can now get your hands on tickets for the special summer events.

Screenings will be taking place in London between 24-29 May. Click HERE to buy tickets or for more information.
