I was always alone and lonely in this relationship with three children i knew he was walking all over me all the time we've been together and yet i could not take that step to leave him but when he left me i then realised i never knew him to be that cruel. But you know the saying " what goes round comes round"!

I would like to know exactly when life gets better for a single mum? I've been divorced for 6 years, seperated for 12. The children and I got by, but only just with the assistance of the kids maintenance payments. Now 6 years down the road, they are off to University and I have just been hit by yet another bus. The maintenance has ceased, tax credits and reduced council tax have gone with it. How on earth do I pay my mortgage and utilities now as I don't earn enough? I can't even sell up because I'd lose my shirt in equity. No chance of remarrying because I can't afford to get out and about to meet a partner. I take care of myself, look younger than my years and dress well, but my life is passing me by and life is beginning to feel futile. My ex is remarried to someone half his age, wealthy and in my eyes a pig. Why, because he said, 'Well what would a man of your own age see in a 48 year old anyway? There is no comparison between your body and that of my new wife. I would sell up if I were you, consider breast implants, botox and look for a seventy year old man!'
