Bespoke designer Christmas trees up for grabs

Marie Claire news: Save the Children Save the Children

Save the Children is giving you the chance to get your hands on a gorgeous bespoke designer Christmas tree this year.

The charity has teamed up with some of the world's leading designers to create the original and unique trees for their annual gala dinner and auction.

Davina McCall, who has recently returned from a moving trip to Liberia, will host this year's celebrity-packed Festival of Trees event in a bid to raise funds for vulnerable children all around the world.

Traditionally, the silent auction is only available for the well-heeled guests in attendance at the snazzy soiree, but this year the public are invited to make a bid too – yes, that means you!

Instead of making do with a usual run-of-the-mill tree, why not go for a vibrant Harrods creation or a dazzling Jo Wood design?

Not only do the trees look super-chic, they also come complete with luxury presents, such as Alexander McQueen luggage, or a fabulous holiday to the Caribbean.

Christmas really has come early!
