By Lucy Hutchings on Wednesday 13 May 2009
Boosting its already star-studded stable of representatives, this week L’Oréal Paris has signed up three new A-list faces - Freida Pinto, Evangeline Lily and Elizabeth Banks.
On the eve of the Cannes film festival, the three starlets have been announced as the beauty giant's latest world spokespeople, joining an illustrious history of celebrity associations, which has included everyone from Jennifer Aniston to Beyonce, Scarlett Johansson, Penelope Cruz and Eva Longoria.
The announcement only confirms Pinto's status as the style world's new darling, after shooting to fame as the star of Danny Boyle's Slumdog Millionaire.

Lily, best known for her role in Lost, added, 'It is a source of great pride for me to represent a brand whose ambition is to respond to every person's aspirations to beauty, and contribute to the fulfilment and well-being of everyone."
Meanwhile Banks, star of films such as W, Role Models and Catch Me if You Can, commented, 'I am so honoured to be one of the newest L’Oréal Paris spokespeople and to join such a distinguished group of women who proudly say the iconic phrase 'Because You’re Worth It.''
