Women feel most sexy at 34, a new survey claims.

Great news if you're still in your twenties (not so good if you've already passed that milestone), the poll of more than 1,000 women discovered that the optimum 'sexy' age is 34.

However, it was discovered that 56% of women enjoy sex more once they're past the big 40, even if they're having less of it.

'Many of us make the assumption that older people have less sex than the young, and this research appears to confirm this,' relationship advisor Dr Catherine Hood said.

'However, it does show that women are still enjoying great sex lives as they get older.

'Women's sexual needs, libido and lifestyle change over time, but there is absolutely no reason why older women can't enjoy an extremely fulfilling sex life in their middle age and well into their senior years.

'The fact that over half of those quizzed said they had better sex now than in their 20s and 30s suggests that these women are more confident and self-assured than they were in their younger days and aren't afraid of getting what they want.'

38 to now ,which is 43,I feel the sexiest. And yes, much better sex. When your young your more concerned with putting a show on.Now- its my turn and sex is for me too.

I definitely agree, this has been the year when I have felt my absolute best! I even got into hotpants that were 10 years old, and got so much attention. I tend to be approached by guys at least 10 years younger than me so I think 34 is a great advert for being a woman in here prime!

I've just turned 34 - about a week ago... So this gives me hope. I haven't really been feeling very sexy lately, but overall confidence is building up after some rough years, so I guess that will help.
