Are you panicking about your post-baby belly? Worried about unsightly stretch marks? Apparently all you need is the brand new Belly Bandit.

The Belly Bandit tummy wrap is rather grandly described as a piece of 'lightweight construction,' to be worn under clothes to suck in flab and even re-define waistlines.

Celebrities such as Jessica Alba, Angelina Jolie and Minnie Driver have all used abdominal wraps as an essential tool to give the illusion of a washboard stomach just weeks after giving birth.

'The Belly Bandit not only helped my tummy, but also really supported my back and helps my posture while nursing,' says new mum, Minnie Driver.

For a piece of material the Belly Bandit claims to achieve an awful lot: it helps to minimize stretch marks, provide support for breastfeeding, flatten post-baby bellies and re-define the waistline.

The makers of the wrap do remind us, however, that the Belly Bandit won't help us reach our post-baby weight all on it's own, the good old-fashioned combo of diet and exercise is also essential.

We thought it sounded too good to be true!
