Princess Beatrice's new job

Princess Beatrice

Princess Beatrice, who, as fifth in line to the throne, must be used to being waited on herself, has landed a new job - as a shop assistant at Selfridges.

Prince Andrew and Fergie's daughter has a new - unpaid - post as a personal shopper for VIP customers, which she is undertaking as a work experience in her gap year.

Her job - which she'll carry out from 9-5 for the rest of the month - involves fetching and carrying for rich customers.

So far, the items that the working Bea has sold include an £825 Matthew Williamson summer frock, a £310 Burberry jacket and a pair of £175 James Jeans trousers.

Bea herself dressed in a smart black dress, wide waist belt and flat shoes for her down-to-earth duties.

A Selfridges source told The Sun: 'Beatrice is a natural. Our personal shoppers are popular with wealthy Arabs, celebrities and footballers' wives.'

In fact, Beatrice's cousin, Prince William, used the service when he bought girlfriend Kate Middleton earrings just before Christmas.

asking a royal to dress the wealthy public is like asking a two year old to paint like Michaelangelo, just take a look at how Bea dresses in public! Not something that I would expect ANY sane person to do,after all, most of her publicicity shots of Bea,her mother and sister show them dressing alike....lets face it,Fergie was never renowned for her dress sense and neither will her daughters be if left to their own devices....

Wow. Bea has a job, but Kate Middleton (the social climber) does NOT. It's a shame that LAZY Kate Middleton will be a Queen one day!

Oh wow...she has a 3 week job where all she does is shop all day. That spoiled brat needs to do some real work!
