Third of women want to cheat

A couple making love

Infidelity is something we usually link with men – but a new study has revealed that one third of British women fantasise about cheating, while nearly the same amount dream of it becoming a full-blown affair.

The survey, carried out by Diva TV, questioned over 1,100 women, and found that, along with dreams of an affair, 19% of us secretly want to tell our mother-in-law exactly what we think of her, and 16% harbour a desire to sleep with another woman.

Maya Bhose, spokeswoman of Diva TV, says: 'We conducted this study to gain insight into the minds of British women and have used it to ensure our programming, which includes everything from the drama of The Bold and the Beautiful to the wisdom of Oprah, reflects the aspirations of our audience. These results show what fertile imaginations British women have.'

These potent mind-wanderings even include fantasies about porn. Yep, one in ten of us want to be the star of our very own mucky movie, while most of us would draw the line at bedding our best friend's boyfriend – only 2% said they'd steal a pal's partner.

Well - my best friend floozy did steal my husband of 32 years - and she threw away 23 years of marriage too!!! She thought she had a bargain - but in effect - my ex has a colestomy which she didn't know about - and by that time she had already left her husband and felt inclined to go with the flow!!! So much about 2 years of scheming and pondering what life would be like with her pal's husband - she didn't work so where else was she to turn? I on the other hand felt a breathe of relief - my ex is not very affectionate anyway - and am now with a widower and have money and was able to retire early!!!
