Pilgrim: Marie Claire's New Jewellery Crush

Choosing which new designers – and most importantly, which pieces – to invest in can be tricky, especially when it comes to the personal matter of jewellery. So if you’re searching for the next-big-thing in rings, necklaces, and so forth, having knowledgeable ad experienced online shoppers (hi there!) to whittle down the selection certainly helps.

So allow us to introduce you to our new favourite label, Pilgrim.

The really affordable but super-cool and stylish accessories brand is new to the UK but has been killing it in their native Denmark for 30 years.

The two Danes behind the achingly cool, minimalist pieces – Annemette Markvad and Thomas Adamsen - strive to create beautiful jewellery to make you feel beautiful while high-quality, on-trend design is at the core of their brand.

Highlights include circular disc necklaces, effortlessly simple brushed-silver earrings and delicate geometric rings which look just as good stacked as they do as a simple statement on their own. But we probably don’t need to sell this – the model shots do it all and more.

An envy-inducing masterclass in how to wear jewellery, the models which decorate the brands website show just how to incorporate their cool designs into your new season wardrobe.

Think loose-fitting semi-sheer tees and stonewash denim teamed with layers of fine necklaces, relaxed trousers suits with mis-matching bracelets and a white tank worn with little other than wet-look hair and just-the-right-size hoops.

And we haven’t even got to the best bit – each piece comes in at less than £40.

Every now and then you come across a brand or store and wonder how you life ever existed without it. Cos, & Other Stories, and now, Pilgrim.

It’s landed firmly on our map. Next up: yours.
