Kate Hudson returns as the face of Ann Taylor in new dazzling set of ads

By Fiona Raisbeck - Thursday 26 July 2012

She wowed us with her previous campaign pictures for Ann Taylor, and now Kate Hudson is back in a gorgeous new set of ads for the American label – her third consecutive campaign as their poster girl.

The adverts, which were shot by photographer Tom Munro at a French chateau-inspired mansion in California, shows Kate wearing key pieces from the upcoming collection and aims to conjure up the glamour of 1960s Paris.

In one image, the actress wears a navy blue peplum top, a matching pencil skirt and a skinny purple belt whilst she smoulders at the camera and plays with her hair. In another, she wears a fitted black top and skirt ensemble accessorised with some bangles stacked up her right wrist.

Kate told WWD about her latest campaign for the brand: 'Fall is always my favourite season. I love layers and Ann Taylor is really going for more colour and prints and fashion and stepping out of the box for their company.'

She added: 'Sometimes when you work with big brands, you feel they have a very specific formula and I think Ann Taylor goes further with it.…Ann Taylor isn’t afraid of a little sexiness. I think it’s about a working woman who can own her own sensuality.'

The bubbly star, who is engaged to Muse frontman Matt Bellamy and is set to appear in the next series of Glee, replaced fellow actress Demi Moore as the face of the label earlier this year.
