At an exclusive event in London yesterday, Nina Ricci's artistic director Peter Copping launched the La Rue handbag and campaign.
The large style tote, which comes in a variety of materials including oversized grained calfskin in black and dark grape, was inspired by a doctor's bag but has been reinterpreted to reflect a sophisticated and easygoing manner.
For the advertising campaign, British born Copping worked with illustrator Jo Ratcliffe to transform original photographs shot by Ines van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin into a series of striking artworks.

In one of images the beautiful German model Kati Nescher is seen clutching an alligator version of the La Rue from which a colourful bloom of flowers is emerging.
Another image shows a flock of flying doves, the emblem of the Parisian fashion house.
The bag will be available from September at all Nina Ricci boutiques and from Harrods in London.
