Ab Fab's Patsy and Edina star in advertising campaign

Dressed as their Ab Fab alter egos Patsy and Edina make, Joanna Lumley and Jennifer Saunders have struck a pose in  jeweller Alexis Bittar's latest ad campaign doing what their characters do best – shopping!

The luxury jeweller explained that he was a massive fan of the satirical show.

'From the first episode I inherited the word sweetie for five years, it got to the point where it was nauseating, I was forced to stop,' he revealed.

'I was beyond excited to meet and get to work with them. I really appreciate the fact that their characters don’t take themselves too seriously. Their fashion sense is ridiculous and they embrace it, every episode is pure fun and chaos.'

Lumley was just as chuffed at being asked to partake gushing once the final shot was taken: 'How cool was that!
I hope the campaign rocks, I am a fan for life!'
