Kate Hudson replaces Demi Moore as the face of Ann Taylor

Fashion label Ann Taylor has a new face for spring/summer 2012: Kate Hudson.

The blonde star replaces fellow actress Demi Moore as the new Ann Taylor poster girl.

The campaign pictures, which were shot by photographer Tom Munro on an estate in sunny California, show Kate in a series of softly-lit portraits lying on a white sofa wearing pretty lace shift dresses from the New York-based label’s spring collection.

Kate told WWD about the collaboration: ‘As a young girl, I looked up to the sophisticated style of Ann Taylor, so it’s been very cool to see how the brand has evolved to meet the changing needs of modern women.’

Kristen Dykstra, senior vice-president of brand marketing for Ann Taylor, added: ‘Kate is a dynamic woman who truly embodies the new Ann Taylor.’
