Fashion designer Tom Ford took the camera into his own hands to shoot his glossy Spring/ Summer 2012 campaign

Beautiful models Mirte Maas and Mathias Bergh are captured in a series of glossy, upbeat images as they play around together for the camera.

One shot shows the gorgeous Swedish male model Bergh biting Maas’s ankle as she poses in a purple jewel coloured silk suit from his SS/12 collection.

This is the first glimpse at the designer’s latest collection as photographers were banned from his SS/12 show.

Ford follows in the footsteps of fellow designer Karl Lagerfeld who shoots all his own images for Chanel and Fendi.
