Rihanna named new face of Armani

Sizzling songstress Rihanna has been named the new global face of Emporio Armani underwear.

The flame-haired starlet, who will also model for Armani jeans, will step into the shoes of 24-year-old Transformers beauty Megan Fox as ambassador for the brand

And she’s already been hard at work. The leggy Man Down beauty shot images for the campaign – to be launched in September – on location in New York earlier this year.

Rhi’s worldwide campaign will run from autumn/winter 2011 – 2012.

The million-selling singer is just the latest in a long line of famous faces to model for the world-famous luxury brand.

Last year Megan Fox and football star Ronaldo replaced David and Victoria Beckham as the faces of the label’s eponymous underwear collection.
