Kate Middleton works style re-runs over weekend
By Lucy Hutchings on Monday 13 June 2011
Kate Middleton has shown she's not adverse to a spot of fashion recycling - working a string of style re-runs over the weekend.
Attending a Sunday church service to mark Prince Philip's 90th birthday, the Duchess of Cambridge donned the same periwinkle Jacquard coat that she wore to the wedding of Nicholas van Cutsem in 2009, pairing it with a Zara cornflower pleated dress, which she stepped out in the day after her own April nuptials.
Even her shoes a trusty seen-before pair - some L.K. Bennett nude heels that she's slipped into for an array of different functions.
The day before, she called on another old fashion friend - a polka dot shift dress - for the wedding of Sam Waley-Cohen and Annabel Ballin. The design has been lingering in her wardrobe for a good four years, as she was spotted in it back in 2007, for a night out with sister Pippa.
She kept on the same black hat she'd donned earlier that day for her very first Trooping the Colour.
So she can do glamour, high street AND thrifty fashion - all hail the new Duchess of style!
