As one of the most scrutinised dresses in modern history, it seems only fitting that Kate Middleton's wedding gown is to go on display.
The Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen dress is to be exhibited at Buckingham Palace, as the star attraction the annual royal residence annual summer opening, from 23rd July to 3rd October.
KATE'S GOWN: ALL THE DETAILS
Alongside the hand-embroidered gown, the Duchess's silk tulle appliquéd veil, Robinson Pelham diamond earrings, McQueen satin shoes and the 1936 Cartier Halo tiara, which she wore to marry Prince William, will all be displayed. The tiara was loaned from the Queen, who received the priceless piece on her 18th birthday.
In the Palace's state dining room, the couple's tiered wedding cake - created by Fiona Cairns - will also be on show for all to see.
