Introducing Fairtrade Collective

By Jane McFarland  on Monday 28 February 2011

Fairtrade Collective - Marie Claire UK

The Fairtrade Foundation has teamed up with 14 designers including Marios Schwab, Holly Fulton and Hussein Chalayan to create a bespoke range of scarves, available from asos.com during Fairtrade Fortnight, kicking off today.

Fairtrade Fortnight (28 February - 13 March) is an annual campaign to build awareness of the challenges faced by farmers in the developing world.

And the fashion industry is doing its bit to help - with a collection of digital print scarves from some of our favourite designers, all made from Fairtrade certified cotton.

Fairtrade Collective - Marie Claire UK

'It's vital to utilise cotton in a modern fashion through strong design, hopefully projects such as this will encourage that' says Holly Fulton.

We're all for fashion that can do some good as well as making you look amazing. Available on asos.com.
